I'd like to see more details about Focus changes :

  • I hope you will not completely destroyed the actual interesting things in Focus' Trees, and upgrades this things (or don't change this things), likes
    • Madurai's Void Strike (useful for Eidolons)
    • Naramon's Power Spike (useful for Melee)
    • Naramon's Surging Dash (useful for Kuva Clouds)
    • Unairu's Wisp (useful for Eidolons)
    • Vazarin's Protective Dash (useful for regenerates a lot of things)
    • Zenurik's Energizing Dash (useful for, you know what)
  • You will removed the Operator's Melee Attack, for "When Operator doing Melee, the Warframe TP at this place, Operator return in the WF and the WF Melee in place of the Operator", but, some problems can occurs with that
    • Only Operator's Dash for Kuva Guardian ? but, under the Magus Lockdown effect, the Guardian can't be disarmed with the Operator's Dash until the effect of this Arcane ending. Do you have the Plan to change that ? do you have the Plan to add an "Operator's Void Effect to the WF after transferring in the WF for disarmed Guardians with WF's Melees attacks" ?
  • The new Void Dash is nice but, like a lot of peoples previously ask : this new Void Dash will change the speed to do the Void Dash himself ?
  • Same cost for the Focus Trees ? More ? Less ?
  • Do you will finally allow us to puts all 5 Focus's Lenses on the same item and allow us to removed Lenses like we wants ? the actual states of this 2 things are really annoying if you likes to play the same WF or Weapons for Focus and for upgrades the actual Lenses you already haves on items or simply for put this Lenses on other items

I'd like to know, if you already haves numbers to shares, the prices, in Focus, for the Focus' themed Decos :smile:

Do you will release the new Two-Handed Scythe in this update ? i'm Scythes and Nekros enthousiast so, you know... :cool:

And, finally, i'd like to have more Details about the Evolving Weapons (in my concern, like for the Lores, it's one of the most interesting things in this update)

Questions:

1) In the upcoming focus rework will there be any changes to how lenses work? right now the progression doesn't feel great (lower tier lenses having to be destroyed to install a greater/eidelon/lua lens) being able to upgrade lenses in-place (reduce the required lower tier lenses for construction by 1 but make it so you can only install on a weapon/frame that has the lower tier lens installed already) or adding a way to remove installed lenses (a 'lens distiller' like the old arcane distillers, could limit players to one per week (sold by a vendor like Teshin's steel path rewards that can only be bought once a week or something) to prevent people using it to constantly swap their best lens onto whatever equipment they are using next. Either of these would be a great QoL improvement to the system.

 

(edit) 1.5) will there be a test-server run for the focus rework prior to release? it sounds like a pretty extensive set of changes that could benefit from some gameplay feedback before release as long as it can be separated out from any spoiler-ey stuff with the new quest.

 

2) any updates on using necromechs in normal missions?

 

3) more QoL: any chance we could get separate tabs for rifles and shotguns in the mods station? the 'primary' category is by far the least organized at this point due to combining rifle and shotgun mods.

You can't have made something that big in three months.

They claim that for every major update. That said, stuff like new tilesets takes probably around 6 months. It's been in the works for more than 3 months.

Yes! the current operator and focus tree system heavily disfavors newer players and even on the top level only encourages one playstyle for eidolons (void strike madurai) otherwise the eidolons fight will inevitably drag on for much longer. 

I really hope that this focus tree reworks brings in more power to the operators towards fighting eidolons rather than dying during every other scream attack and requiring the usage of hundreds of energy restores just to be able to stack void strike charges. Hopefully the changes allows for a more diverse set of playstyles that can work for both newer players, players that have everything, and players that are experienced at the fight. 

This would solve one of the many issues I have with the current eidolon system right now.

Hopefully we hear other stuff not directly related to the Angels update in this devstream that can include:

Third Orb Mother, coming off the heels of the terrain changes I think this could be a great incorporation to include onto the Vallis landscape.

Modular Archwings and general archwing representation. It has been talked about that archwing specific missions are being removed and with how bad archwings currently perform in railjack. I think it would be nice to talk about this element of the game, such as the lack of archmelee/archwing modding, archmelee rivens. Future archgun, archwing and archmelee variants/newcomers being introduced. And if any changes to make them more usable in railjack are planned.

Necramechs in normal missions, I thought this was coming at the end of 2021 since it has been talked about a long time before then so hopefully a set release date is provided.

Scarlet spear return. I think the return of events than contains rewards such as warframe arcanes could be an awesome thing to do.

Warframe changes. Many warframe Augments are already slated to have added benefits and that has come with varying feedback. Hopefully this does not stop there and other changes are planned to make lesser used parts of our kits more enticing to use such as Loki's Passive, Mesa's and Nekros' 1, Etc.

Future Tenet and Kuva weapon variants: I think new weapon introductions into the lich system is a good idea as a way of keeping a nice gameplay loop in the warframe. I would love to see some variants for melees, archwings and archguns.

Loadout slot changes, right now in navigation the only thin that changes when swapping your loadout is your warframe, weapon choices, focus tree and companion. Making it so that the other elements such as necramechs, archwings, and operators/drift also applies could be a really good QOL feature.

Let me know what else you think should be talked about that isn't directly related to the Angels update!

If possible, could you please speak to whether there are any changes in the works for loadout slots?

 

- will we see drifter/operator choice bound to loadout slot

- will we see amp/operator arcane choice bound to loadout slot

- will we see necramech & associated archgun + archgun config bound to loadout slot?

- will we see heavy weapon config bound to loadout slot?

- can we get rid of the segregated archwing slots and bind them to the main loadouts instead?

 

loadout slots are very useful when switching between different mission types, however their utility has eroded with the introduction of necramech and operator and their increased integration into missions. After changing loadout, additionally need to double check operator and necramech config. Seems to defy the point of loadout slots in the first place.

I once again would like to ask about some Yareli improvements. Primaries on K-Drives, moddable Merulina, Sea Snares not suiciding into walls, synergies, stuff like that. She still feels incomplete despite being so close and you're already two frames down the line.

I'd also like to ask again about permanent silly cosmetics and options for players to hide them, given that Easter is coming up very Soon™:

DE, what of the consequences of the Tenno just up and vanishing at the beginning of the New War? Or how it happened to ALL of them since its established that the Tenno are not a singular entity? And will we get some voicelines from the other characters changed to reflect this post-New War time?

Apart from Angels of Zariman new warframe details which we will get :

- more details on Focus changes

- next batch of augments rework? 

- which decorations will be used for the appartments? orbiter / dojo style / new system ?

- rewards for these new gameplays? SP counterpart plans?

 

'biggest update' erhm but Duviri will beat that anyway 😅
