Necramechs, are they worth it?

So far, they are the only way to get Mouselon, which is probably one of the best archguns in the game.

As for the mech itself, Void Rig can do Eidolons due to its forth ability's bonkers level of damage, while not requiring any riven at all. All mechs are immune to Knockback, and any form of stun, so you can melt Thusk Thumpers with them with very ease.

They are to come in normal missions one day too. To sum them up, they sacrifice some movement speed for more damage output, Tank and knock resistance. If that's any of your fancy, then go for it. Otherwise, there is no need.

Though I'll still ask you to get it for collection's sake, if they get an even broader use-base sometime in the future (Railjack likely, I dunno)

Are they actually worth the grind to get them, I have not spent any money on the game and do not plan to, Are they actually that good to get and worth the hours of grinding that has to happen to even get a single part,

They don’t take many hours of grinding to get. Turn on some music, run the mission with friends and see what happens. Or just buy it if you don’t want to grind. You can trade for platinum, meaning you don’t have to spend any money.

I would say that the Voidrig is fun to play around with. And it is worth farming it for the free arch gun alone (Mausalon). Bonewidow is not worth farming yet, I found it pretty hopeless (not great abilities).

short answer.. NO! currently there is nothing specific in game that needs mechs. only in current event it was used other than that there is nothing else planned. so maybe put the mech in your low priority and focus on other things you wanna get.

in future content mech's might be needed but for now, there is none

Are they worth it for you?

Personally i was never interested in them and just noped out of it, especially after completing the Deimos introduction quest with the mech, which just confirmed for me it's something i don't care about, including the next rep grind. (besides the MGS reference, which was the only good thing about the quest imo.)

But tastes differ.

If you're a Rhino/Chroma/Inaros/Mesa or Nidus main, you will probably like them and that's alright.

In my personal opinion, they are not that fun to play with. But that's probably because I like the game exactly because it is fast-paced and I can move fast. With the Necramechs, not so much. They can still be fun (depending on your stance, if it's different to mine - tbh I don't think they are unfun either), and they can have niche uses.

As for the grind: it is not as bad as you make it sound like. There are far worse grinds in the game, and while getting the necramech parts, you are getting other useful stuff, too.

YES.

At this point necramechs are semi-cheat or at the very least a shortcut to quickly solve multiple problems.

Back when these following bosses was first introduced, veterans with vast collection of godly mods and equipments had to make specific builds and developed certain strategies to take them down.

But now... Eidolons? Bring a mech. Profit taker? Bring a mech. High level open world bounties? Bring a mech. Iso vaults? Bring a mech.

Just a little heads up, they won't feel too strong until you invest a couple of formas. You still have to make a proper build. but unlike warframes, once you have that one good build, you'll be good to go anywhere. once you have a proper mech and good guns, you'll be unstoppable wherever they're available

It's about tools in the toolbox.  In 1 open world mission I can use my frame and its weapons, archgun deployer, operator, archwing, and mech (probably not my kdrive, those are mostly pretty dumb) to maximum effect.  Mostly only the open world bosses are worth mixing all of them with 1 objective, regular bounties I'll tend to stay with 1 tool (archwing for drone escort, mech for defending stationary/slow targets and racking up the big kills, operator for quick moving in arcana bounties, etc.)  Is it worth it?  It was worth it for me, even with the stuff I really dislike about them.
