Merkranire
Having played more Helldiver’s 2, if there’s going to be inspiration drawn, I’d like a mode where friendly fire is on. It changed the decision-making process so much and is fun to coordinate and laugh over mistakes, and adds some surprising depth to the game. I’d be all over a modifier or something for Warframe that enabled it; better hope players know how to complete the mission without obliterating their teammates or the objective in their careless rampaging

It's called "Radiation Hazard." No one cares. In fact, people do care. Radiation Hazard is the rare chance to actually kill fellow players. Bah, Radiation procs are a sometimes thing that’s avoidable I’m talking always-on for the mission where someone’s going to kill their team and the objective because they turned their brain off. With enclosed map design or something to really make it tricky to spam AoE and not kill yourself and your team and the objective, something that’s not Kahl of Duty with friendly fire, but Warframe with friendly fire. Also, sidebar, are players that bloodthirsty to kill each other? Here I thought the community was (heh) so nice and all Edited March 2 by Merkranire

Their fan base will never accept changes to make this game (relatively)hard. WF game was thought to be like hellDiver at the beginning, with limited revives and blah blah blah... They preferred to turn everything into the game of today, probably because it preferred by many, i don't know. Overall friendly fire with weapons like the Branma or some abilities could be a suicide from the beginning. Edited March 2 by bibmobello

This community is so nice, they’re so thoughtful to their fellow players, I’m sure that the modifier would be done with great enthusiasm because it gives us a chance to show just how thoughtful we are I want players who aren’t trying to troll to have to think a little, too. Overkill mission-clearing solo-in-multiplayer builds can now have a consequence, and that consequence would assuredly make our lovely thoughtful players step back and reconsider what they’re doing if they’re not going to have to deal with some kind of cognitive dissonance of being the cause of the problem but can’t be the problem because they’re such good people

Killing civilians will fail the mission. "The Infested has overrun Cetus. Tenno, we need your help. I wouldn’t mind escort missions retroactively designed as such, though I can respect that sometimes I don’t want to have to watch my fire all the time, so an every-so-often modifier and/or mission type feels like it makes more sense

Also just to nitpick on Helldivers itself for a second I find it ridiculous that it's taking off when the exact same game has been around for nearly a year, for less money, doesn't require a 3rd party account, and isn't grossly monetized: Starship Troopers: Extermination. Like it's almost the exact same where you're a bunch of faceless space marines dropped down onto an alien planet to kill bugs because they're somehow threatening your authoritative earth government. The only "catch" is that ST:E is still in early access. Starship Troopers: Extermination is complete trash, and that's well known. Helldivers (the original one) was an incredible game that unfortunately just never became well known (small indie title, no marketing budget, etc). Helldivers 2 looks like it's following in its predecessor's footsteps in terms of overall game quality, but unfortunately is hamstrung but garbage publishing decisions (like putting an "anti-cheat" that is effectively malware into it). Monolake
DE should learn from Helldivers that coop and challenge actually make game a hit. Neglecting coop and turning WF into basically a solo game is what kept WF stagnant, kept it from becoming great and more popular.

Add to that, Warframe's numbers don't match up with each other. To note: Steel Path Corpus Elite Crewmen enemies can have as little as 3% the EHP of their closest counterparts, Elite Lancers, and that problem only rises the higher levels scale. Not to mention other similar problems like ability modding vs weapon modding, or player EHP variance either.
Aldain
I gotta say, after watching discourse around Helldivers 2's kick system I have never been more happy that Warframe has no such system in the first place. The amount of people bending over backwards to say that getting kicked before extraction in HD2 isn't happening and if it is people deserve it is staggering. HD2 looks awesome, everyone seems to really like it, there's great mechanics that make interesting gameplay decisions and its a great fun co-op shooting the hell out of things. Gameplay: eg limited ammo that aren't loot drops but resupply and location crates meaning you have a time limit based on ammo. Missions are open, no linear maps where players can just run off and kill everything leaving you behind. Extra features come from air support as does resupply with cooldowns. These are all great ideas that solve some of the most awkward parts of warframe gameplay now without requiring nerfs to speed or damage or capabilities. No thanks.
