General Note: The candid nature of devstream leads to a lot of speculation. A particularly hot item is the plans for the Star Chart. Please note that until we have concrete items to show, we won't have too much to discuss this stream. We will address the topic broadly but have no specifics this week.

Q: Do you have any concept or progress to show about the new star chart that coming in U17?

 

Q: What will be the rewards of the new Raid?

 

Q: Any teaser about the powers of the new Yin Yang frame?

 

Q: Any new concept art for the new type of kubrow or the kubrow armor?

 

Q: Can we expect the new syndana with cloth phsyics being released before U17?

Will we ever get clan-tech only weapons again that can't be bought with plat? and maybe have a proper mastery rank tied to it? This leads to my next question.

 

Will we ever get real rewards from the mastery system besides loadout slots and a higher daily reputation limit thingy? And will weapons ever get tied to an appropiate rank because a Boltor Prime or Soma prime shouldn't be available to rank 0 and 2 already, being two of the most powerful weapons in the game.

 

Will melee ever get a buff  damage wise to be up to par with all those wepons like Soma and boltor and what have you?

 

Maybe any sort of buff for going melee only? Sprint boost? shield boost? yada yada?

 

Will prime stuff ever get an additional color slot for the gold trim? it get's really problematic with the old prime items, now that they are slowly getting the option to color the gold trim as well, many players will have to rework their color scheme and less customisation is one thing Warframe DOESN'T need, also, how about we get that exact gold trim added to our color palettes?

 

How do you feel when you hear that something has been datamined again? will you leave everything so easily accessable or will you change things around? or is is it maybe even intended?

 

Also, Focus system, anything you could tell us about that we don't know yet? When will it finally come?

  • The new Yin-Yang Warframe will be both male and female?
    Yin and Yang representing the opposite, it could be quite possible that such new Warframe exists.
  • Have you new infos about the new Kubrow type? (concept arts, screenshots, videos)
  • Any infos about minigames in relays / dojos?

Kubrow/Follower

Guessing the new pet would be the Retriever Kubrow mentioned last stream, but are there any new sentinels plan in the future?

     -> Kubrow armor seek peek?? (if you're showing off the new kubrow and have it ready then why not :D)

 

Buff/Nerf

What's next on the buffing block? Still waiting on Silva and Agies/shotguns/snipers to geta look at.

 

Excalibur Rework

Excalibro rework will give him a "Hysteria" like ultimate, but would it have a toggle function so I can disable it at my leisure? You know that terrible toggle you gave to Ember's World on Fire? Valkyr hysteria, hydriod tentacle swarm and now this upcoming rework for Excal would have far more benifits with it, as they can disable it when not needed (for excal and Valkyr's case) or recast it in a new area (for hydriod's case).

 

Special Units

Bursa (riot moa's) are still being balenced/looked at? I kinda miss them.

 

Manic's invulnerability periods, would these be removed or at least replaced with high damage reduction? They honestly just feel like a cheep gimmick to make them more difficult.

 

Also would there be a mechanic to shake or throw off the Manic before he pounces you then claws you to death? Like mash E to shake off? Cause right now the only way to "counter" it is to simply drop health and shield packs to stay alive.

 

PVP

What's new coming to PVP? New frames, maps, game modes etc.

 

Void Trader

Will Baro ki' teer ever stop bringing the pain? PBR'd armor sets is greatly appreciated, Primed mods (when actually worth their own salt) are nice but cycling old event mods like Tethra's Doom mods (Which should already be in the regular drop tables like all other dual stat elemental mods) should not take up a spot on the rotation.

 

Will Baro ever sell things in addition to the 4 items he brings that are generally beneficial? People have suggested cores, gear and key packs. Somethings that are useful and wanted by people no matter what the other 4 items are.

Any news on another account migration to consoles? I think an official statement has to be made here, either DE tells us that, no, it's not gonna happen ever again or they need to tell us that it could happen again and they're discussing things with console publishers. I'm sick of waiting and hoping for something that might never happen. It's ridiculous that we have no official word on the matter, just speculation on the forum and statements from moderators.

During the first few devstreams it was mention a few times that you get inspiration from culture influences and mythology, I know with the num-chucks coming out soon you've added from Chinese influences but will we see more influences from  Mythology.

 

Since you're  revamping the star chart map and allowing a lot of the mythology names to be brought back in will we see more mythological weapons added to the game ?

Will we ever see any more characters of the likes of Maroo (P.S., loved her character) - civilians unaffiliated with any Syndicate that work with the Tenno?

And, on characters, compared to the Grineer the Corpus are sorely lacking in faces to represent them - especially if one takes into consideration lore-mentioned characters like Tengus and semi-bosses like the Grustrag Three. Are there any characters in the works to expand the amount of relateable faces the Corpus have - even if they're never going to be bosses themselves?

- AI rework?, we need more challenging enemies.

 

- How's Mios and Juggernaut going?

 

- Any news about Focus system, a manifesto at least?

 

- Sword trails rework

 

- Any plans to make thrown weapons more appealing/useful? here's a suggestion

 

- New mission type and raid? here's a suggestion

 

- Fix/review for "alt-fire" weapons not being able to zoom? It was addressed by Rebecca here , any news about that?

 

- Map waypoint 2.0? sometimes it can be confusing following it.

This never happens because Prime Access and put limits for paying players is not wise step

What will happen to existing tiles when parkour 2.0 releases? Will they be updated to include more "parkour" opportunities or will the be left as they are (possibly with a few added rooms). One of the main issues I have currently is wall running on non-flat surfaces, small dents and edges often cause you to fall or block you completely. A good example would be edges around doors, while these are obviously not meant to be run across, similar edges do exist here and there. Any chance the new wall running will take this into account a little better so it's not a 50-50 chance to get blocked or not?

 

Also those edges above doors are a pain when using Zephyr (tailwind with high duration launches you into the wall above, causing you to fall on top.)

It's nothing major but these things tend to make me skip wall running (or tailwind) completely sometimes.

 

Can't wait to see the final version though, see you all in the stream!
