While I do agree that we should be able to get a new guide due to spoiler reasons, this is most certainly not the way to go about it. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. I really do hope we get an excuse to ditch the lotus in the next quest line. She is one of the most important figures in the system, making it implausible that she can guide every tenno simultaneously. I would much rather Ordis take over as navigator during regular missions. All she does is repeat the same tired, monophonic dialogue without any updates to your skill, level or capacity to complete the mission type.
