Linguistics nerd vs. Voidtongue
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to apprenticeNerd's topic in General Discussion
I'm not usually one for Necro'd threads, but this is a welcome one to be sure! I thought you'd given up on translating Voidtongue, but clearly that's not the case! I haven't really noticed any other words since WitW, but then I haven't really been able to listen to the newer tracks, though I imagine many of the same words/lyrics are used. now that you're back, I think i'll keep an ear out on the soundtrack to see what else pops up! -
I miss Moa Cabinets being on Corpus Ships
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to Zahnny's topic in General Discussion
meh, not enough people really used it, or even knew about the Moa cabinets, to warrant them being kept. kind of a shame since the newer Moas have different weapons and having them as allies would be a little more interesting, even if they were still largely ineffective for anything other than drawing Agro, but still it is what it is. far as i know it's only the defense map, which does suck. haven't seen any specific complaints regarding standard tiles. why? you actually enjoyed being unable to so much as sneeze without decompressing the room? I don't get some people... -
Holy crap. I thought Tenngen had Died.
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to Xzorn's topic in General Discussion
ah, a Fellow Faven-ite... and a person of taste! personally I'm desperate for a decent single Dagger skin.. Karyst Prime is so fugly.. -
clearly you've not seen the more recent Batman movies. that's ok, nobody else has either; they're too friggin' dark...

The new lighting system hurts the eyes
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to IcyVinyl's topic in General Dante Unbound Feedback
half the community is saying the lights are too bright, the other half is complaining that it's now too dark, and all of them are complaining their fashion was ruined. once again their lighting obsession is their undoing.. at this point I'm convinced DE is actually staffed by Moths, and Reb and the other humans are just there to hide this fact. -
Big Fish Sanctum bounty and Bonewidows
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to Clairewastaken's topic in General Dante Unbound Feedback
gotta love how troublesome this bounty's been for them: first the issue was the voidrigs never spawned consistently, and now they've made it worse by halving the chance of completing the bounty.. I'm 99.9% sure this is a bug though, and will likely be patched soon. we've only had one hotfix I've seen so far, there will be plenty more, you can count on that. -
here's the thing; at no point in any of the hype material did they ever say that Dante had a Quest... there's no quest menu, or quest titled Dante Unbound in the codex either. all they said was "help Drusus save the Leverian from Parvos Granum". if DE don't explicitly state something, it's not going to happen. this is why it's not just important to read what they write, but how it's worded as well. any notion of there being an in-depth story quest is purely one of your own fabrication.

god knows Tagfer needed a hug.. or ten. I'm gonna try to remember to hug him before every Netracell. also, Bird 3 is an absolute unit of an Avian, that boi THICC.

Holy crap. I thought Tenngen had Died.
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to Xzorn's topic in General Discussion
the reason we've had to wait a while on this round of tennogen is because DE were working on the cross-platform aspects of the game and trying to establish special rules regarding buying tennogen cosmetics on one platform and ensuring they can be carried over to another. once they worked it all out, Tennogen was not only back on the menu, they even released guides on how to do the Entrati style aesthetics and continued to make more frames Tennogen-viable. they are always looking at artist's works, but it has to be something that fits with the game and isn't unreasonably hard to implement in game for it to have a chance of being selected. dunno if it's your style, butwe got a dual swords skin with Chroma's Skin at Lunar New Year: -
Hot Take: DE, please keep the Kid Gloves on Moving Forward?
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to Aerikx's topic in General Discussion
if you're looking for a challenge, Warframe is the wrong place for you. that's all there is to say. -
I think what he means is whether or not you can call your mech in the new mode, like you can in Netracells and regular lab missions if you find a computer. He's hoping to use it if he gets a bad loadout so he can take said loadout, use mech instead and still get rewards. It's a potential loophole to get around bad gear. I'd imagine DE have probably already accounted for that, probably by not having mech access for Deep Archimedea missions.. But I could be wrong. only way we'll know for sure is by playing the mode, looking for the windows 95 and see if it can be used.

New Color Blending doesn't do Red properly.
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to -CRONO-'s topic in General Dante Unbound Feedback
We got a hotfix for it! Red is back on the palette! -
I guess the tenno forges are having to cut costs. Glorious Orokin Steel folded 50 billion times and imbued with the souls of the tenno's most honourable ancestors isn't the cheapest material to work with, you know! Also kinda funny when you notice our (brand new) Dex Nikanas already have edge damage and scratches. Pretty soon we're gonna be swinging swords made of Ticor plate and Polymer Bundles, held together by a single Plastid and a dream lol!

Male warframes vs Female Warframes
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to Tossenberg's topic in General Discussion
I couldn't help but notice you glossed over these facts: - Gauss Prime had one of the most viewed Prime trailers eevr, and was a very well received prime. Gauss is male. - Styanax and Kullervo are newer male frames that are well liked by many. - the last two frames to be reworked are both male (Hydroid and Inaros). - our last new frame was Qorvex, who is male. our next frame is Dante, who is male. DE give plenty of attention to both genders, and both have their DPS/support/tank style picks. frankly the abilities of the frame are more important that their visuals (especially since they will usually get a skin sooner or later than can fix any aesthetic discrepancies.) -
Deep Archimedea Game Mode Coming Next Week
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to [DE]Megan's topic in Announcements
I'm curious how bad it must have been, considering the bugs that have sliiped through in the past, but i'm VERY glad DE are taking a little extra time to get the mode right. Glad the drop table changes are coming too! This is good work DE, communication on this level is what we need, keep it up! -
And yet nobody ever asks how is endo.. Mental health should be taken seriously you guys...

Eris, by a country mile, those claustrophobic hallways and vents are garbage tier. I'd rework the tiles to be larger, and more infested looking, with different colours instead of the blinding red that makes kuva missions there 10x harder. Iso-vaults are a good example of infested tiles IMO I'd also rework invasion tiles to have dogfights, artillery barrages etc going on in the background, to make it feel like an actual WAR. a few explosive setpieces that alter the map slightly would be neat as well.
-
at best, I think maybe if we're lucky.. we could get a skin for Khora and Venari that's more Vampire-themes, but between her, inaros' rework, and Valkyr, I'd say we've pretty much covered Cat themes plenty, and both Revenant and Garuda are on a similar wavelength to vampires. honestly, there really aren't a lot of themes that haven't been done yet. personally I'd like an Artillery frame, Sniper frame or an Insect frame (no, Rhino Deathwatch doesn't count)

Gonna miss the Whispers login music when the patch hits.
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to Sojufueled's topic in General Discussion
yeah, I like that login tune as well. I'm sure they must have archived all the music, would be nice if they just released it all for the somachord. -
Voidshell should be intergrated to work with every skin ever
(PSN)robotwars7 replied to Deshiel's topic in General Discussion
for you*. not everyone would agree. I'd rather the artists make more creative skins rather than just rely on voidshelling everything. not that it can happen quickly anyway, DE already said it'd be unreasonable to go back and redo every skin for every frame, and they're right: with the amount of frames we have now it would be an insanely large undertaking. -
maybe that explains why I like it then, I'd rather be "monster of the deep" than "overly cute kawaii-style" any day of the week. this and her augment might actually be enoguh to encourage me to use Yareli again. YES! that's what the vibe is! I was thinking that the curvatures and texture of the bubbles look like that slimy Xenomorph Skin.. I'm gonna do it. I'm making a Xeno-Yareli fashion!
