  1. People say "railjack sucks" because it's severly lacking in optimization, variation, clarity and accessibility. People say "rivens shouldn't exist" because they don't like gacha reroll systems even if they don't require any money. People say "Profit taker is too difficult" because the mechanics are horribly poorly explained and it's an insanely hectic fight. No-one says "Eidolon arcanes should be purchasable from onko" because that's the point of those fights besides the shards. Eidolons are one of the few things in this game that people learn to get good at doing, and repeatedly do again and again because they are an ACTUAL boss/raid boss fight. The arcanes are an incentive to do Eidolons, whether for helping friends, selling, or getting them yourself. Remove that incentive as it is, and you remove a LOT of the draw for doing Eidos. Just doing eidos for the sake of doing them is a lot of work, so people need a reason. Arcanes are that reason. If you can max all your arcanes after a few hunts, there's not as much reason, and the sellability of those arcanes also becomes pointless, as other things will sell better anyway, resulting in no-one doing eidos anymore
  2. Making Incarnons purchasable does not solve anything, it simply compounds the problem that a 1 week rotation is kinda absurd, to do a 3+ hour circuit, for 2 things. Even for warframe that's a bit much. The solution, would be to remove the week rotation thing altogether, at least for circuit. Make Incarnons purchaseable by TOKENS (NOT plat), and have circuit drop those tokens every round. That means, you can then farm for what you want, when you want, in your own time. This would ENTIRELY solve the FOMO route DE are going down. However, they wont do that, as FOMO is a powerful, albiet scummy, tool to get people to play each week.
  3. Volt is one of the best frames in the game... are you on something? Cause I wanna try it Volt is extremely good at ESO Volt is nearly mandatory for Eidolon hunts, especially 5x3, unless your absolutely INSANE at them I'll give you that Volts passive is crap, but you're completely wrong about the rest. Volt does not care about shields. No frame other than Hyldrin or Harrow cares about shields, as you want as FEW shields as possible (but still have some) to make more, and easier, use of Shield Gating. Volt CC's like MAD. He can regenerate shields EXTREMELY easily. His damage is pretty damn good if you actually think about his build. Shock is a utility tool. Comparing him to YARELI of all frames is... just such a poor argument. Yareli really isn't that good of a frame, and does not compare to the amount Volt can do.
  4. The only change Demos need, is for their Target Marker to appear from slightly further away. That's about it, and would solve a lot of issues. Right now, the red marker for them only appears at what... 30-40m away? And only if you have LoS to them from my experience. The LoS restriction needs removed, and the range increased.
  5. It was a 1 hour and 10 min stream. You had plenty of warning beforehand to just leave a tab open for the stream if you were busy.
  6. You're missing the entire purpose of the incarnon. You seem to think it's for spraying down enemies. No, it is not. It's for burning down a single target, like a demolyst or... an Eidolon. Yes, it works perfectly for those, and EXTREMELY well too.
  7. Considering there are others in this thread saying the same thing, I am not alone. Yes, I am a founder, yes, I know how RNG works and how this game works. No, I do not like how vastly unreliable this particular farm is now. Yes, I do farm plat, cause I can make 5k plat in a day without much effort if I really want.
  8. Because it makes the farm much better for the player, while still requiring them to invest time. Now that it's just entirely random it does not make me interested in farming the arcanes.
  9. A designated slots fo peculiar mods was suggested when they were released. DE said no, and continued to say no until everyone gave up. I don't see that changing They are silly, stupid mods they put in for fun. They were never meant to be a serious addition into the game.
  10. Modding for shock trooper allows space for more damage, crit and/or multishot. Shock trooper works out to be more damage. 3 umbrals is also waaaay to much in a more optimised build now Adaptation only does so much. You don't need umbral forma though, just forma the other slots. Do not remove adaptation though. I do run solo, as well as in a group ranging from 2-4. Obviously, group play is much easier I do stream as well, and we do Eidos on stream if that might help, you know, actually seeing it done (excuse the shameless plug)
  11. I eido hunt a lot. Like, a lot. Unless I have other things to farm, I'll be hunting nearly every night cycle, so I can answer some of this for you. 1) Vom spawns yea, suck, but there's ways to manipulate them. For example, making sure someone gets to Terry AS SOON AS entering the Plains, and attack him/strip his armour as he's getting out of the water. This will cause him to poop out a vom once he starts walking around, and you can instantly get 1 charge in a lure. Added to this, one other person goes to the right when coming out of the Cetus gate. They go across the small tail of the lake that is there, and grab the lure in that small camp. Then they move back towards the small little tail of the lake, and look around for 2 Voms. 2 Should ALWAYS spawn there by doing this. Use Enemy Radar to help with this. This person then gets those 2 charges, and then rushes over to terry before he walks off, grabs the 1 charge that he poops, and boom, you instantly get 1 fully charged lure. While doing terry, 1 person goes and grabs 2 more lures. These 2 lures you can charge during terry easily enough. Then, during Garry, you do the same, just grab 3 empty lures, get them charged. You can repeat the same lure near the lakes tail a few times to keep getting 2 charges as well. 2) For dying on harry, use Adaptation, Umbral Vitality and Magus repair or magus Elevate to keep healing until you need to shoot him. Also keep a decaying dragon key on you to make use of shield gating more often. Some basics: Charge 1 lure only for Terry, charge 2 more during Terrys fight Finish Terry with 3 Charged lures Finish Garry with 4 Charged lures Charge the remaining 2 lures during Harrys fight Use Enemy Radars to find vomvalysts easily Do not fully strip eidolon armour, but strip it down to being really minimal. DON'T use corrosive projection! Use Radiation damage. This is why you don't want to fully strip an eido. Radiation will give you the maximum damage bonuses Don't use AOE weapnos. Most AOE weapons damage is in their AOE. This AOE Eidolons generally ignore. Not because it doesn't work, but because the hit registration for it is insanely finicky and usually results in 0's. Take your time. Time your shots, and learn rotations. Eido hunting isn't the easiest thing to do, especially when going fast. It's very easy to mess it up and make mistakes when going fast, so just take your time to learn it and progressively get faster. Your builds will want to look similarish to the following: https://imgur.com/a/TCgrUFs Allow me to explain the builds here: Volt Rubico Sarpa Sentinel Amp With this setup, I can consistently solo 5x3, WITH about 4 mins or so to spare. If I really heavily optimized my runs, I could maybe hit a 6x3, but honestly, I don't care, 5x3 is fine enough for me at this point.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't, but it's kinda scummy they didn't add a "Remove Incarnon" option from the very start. It certainly feels like they either deliberately held it back, or didn't even finish the system before releasing.
  13. An 8 Min video of Excal doing... what excal does, is barely enough, if anything at all, to claim he's capable of doing extendedly long SP runs without dying or having any sort of issue. Until I see an Excal doing Void Cascade/Level Cap runs (or facing level 3k enemies), without going down every 3 seconds, I'll continue to maintain that Excal is not a frame that is capable of endurance running properly, as you seem to be wanting to do.
  14. You're argument makes.... no sense. I fail to see how I was "overly excited", and how that invalidates any of my points. Nice try though.
  15. Nice constructive feedback. Good job. Next time you want to call someone out, try actually adding information as to why you think they're wrong. Until then, you're opinion is disregarded.
  16. Umbral vitality and umbral fiber are a wasted slot. If you're health gets hit, you're going to die. Having more health doesn't stop that. Running pillage means you land yourself into a shield gating loop. You'll eventually just be casting it over and over just trying to keep your shields up. Without some form of complete invulnerability, Excal does not work in long steel path runs. The same goes for any frame without complete invulnerability in some form. This is why Revenant is so favoured. Other frames that work: - Gauss - Baruuk - Frost (barely) - Gara (barely) - Harrow (because condem can reset your shields multiple times in a few seconds and also CC's extremely well, plus he has the ranged damage to boot, and a level of invulnerability) - Hydroid (YES, HYDROID. I've done 3 hour Steel Path survivals with him for farming mats. His undertow saves his ass hard) - Limbo - Mag - Octavia - Protea - Styanax (if you can keep up killing) - Titania (with pillage, because she can dodge and escape while casting it easily) - Vauban (due to absurd CC) - Wisp (invisibility+distractions with Will o wisp) - Wukong - Zaku - Zephyr Those are all the frames that work well in looong steel path runs. They all have 1 thing in common (besides Wisp), some form of HEAVY CC or shield gating/invulnerability to make use of. Excal sadly, does not have that, nor can he get that easily without getting stuck in shield gating loops. You could try condem on him for a budget version of Harrow though I guess.
  17. Yep. Slash bypasses armour entirely for it's effect, which sucks, but armour does mitigate the damage the inital hit would do which then applies the slash, so it does reduce the slash procs damage in a sense, but only for the calculation of how much the proc will damage you by per tick. The proc however cares not for your armour. I did experiment just yesterday with a Skijati+Arcane trickery setup utilising Radial Blind. It... DOES work... for survivability, but it MASSIVELY reduces Excals DPS potential as you can't use Exalted Blade when trying to proc Trickery and stay alive. Essentially, you blind, you stabby stabb with the Skijati until trickery procs, then go ham for 25 seconds. It's not much though, and in group runs it will run into the exact same issue Excal always has due to collaterol damage.
  18. No. Damage reduction only does so much, and adding more defenses can actually hamper you. For example, if you're shield gating, you don't add more shield, you take them away. This increases your shields recharge rate and reduces the time it takes to get back to max shields. Armour however means nothing to slash procs. You get a high level slash proc on you and you don't have a way to remove it, you die. While an umbral setup does work for a time, it can only go so long, and that so long, is usually not 1hr+ long runs if that's what you're trying to acomplish.
  19. So far, I've not found a single good way to have my Excal prime work in longer Steel Path runs (we're talking being able to do more than 20 minutes of Mot) without subsuming or getting into shield gating loops. The issue with Excal is he doesn't have any defensive abilties really. He has Blind, sure, which is the one ability you'd probably subsume over, however, if you go with blind, it has many problems. 1. Blind does NOT refresh its duration on already blinded enemies. Meaning, you're constantly having to blind to keep enemies around you blinded, which gets you stuck in a loop. 2. It becomes VERY energy hungry 3. Eximus can still shoot and kill you without any issues The one saving grace is Slash Dash, however, it does NOT protect your shields (for some ungodly stupid reason), and so, as soon as you come out of Slash Dash, you die. Even with subsuming, he gets stuck in Shield Gating loops, which isn't a place you want to be with a DPS frame like Excal. The only build that I've had work for any length of time is Furious Javelin with all 3 Umbral mods, but it doesn't last overly long against higher level enemies, as they'll still just onetap you cause your health is going to be exposed considerably. This is also why Inaros and Nidus don't do well in higher level SP runs. It's sad, but I do not believe there is any Excal build that can consistently, and easily, do 1hr+ mot runs without dying like other frames can.
  20. It would combine into Gas and cold. This is correct. Elements on rivens combine with the BOTTOM element first. Always.
  21. My first question is.... why on earth would you EVER need 5 Lenz with 5 forma EACH... that's an insane waste. You can make up to 6 configs on each weapon (though you'll never need that many anyway). You can also just swap mods on your builds anyway, you're not locked into them..... There's just no need to have mutliple of the exact same weapon at all honestly, so this really is kinda a you problem...
  22. I'm sorry... but no... It was obviously bugged, if people started progressing on it, that's kinda on them to risk that. I and many others were looking forward to recieving week 1's stuff again in a normal rotation, and yet because of the spaghetti code that this game is somehow holding together on, your weekly rotation breaks (but works on literally everything else?)
