Nightwave: Nora’s Choice launches today at 2pm ET!

 

Greetings Dreamers,

It’s time to tune into Nora’s latest program, Nightwave: Nora’s Choice, is coming to all platforms today at 2pm ET! 

Nora’s Choice brings back a slew of classic Nightwave Rewards while adding exclusive new items into the mix, like the Ride The Wave Glyph and the mesmerizing Waveform Ephemera.

Take on Daily and Weekly Acts to earn Nora’s Choice Cred that you can redeem for exciting Customizations! Or choose to spend it on an assortment of other items that will give your Arsenal a healthy edge.

 

General Nightwave Changes

  • Added Harrow Crucis and Yareli Physalia Helmet Blueprints to the Nightwave Store rotation.

  • Corrected the ‘Feed The Beast’ Nightwave Weekly Act to award the proper 4500 Standing.

 

Optimization:

  • Optimized back-end server load slightly.

 

Changes:

  • The Profile Glyph screen has been given a visual and functional refresh!

    • Left clicking on the Glyph you own equips it.

    • Right clicking on a Glyph you own allows you to gift it to a Friend from the Market (if Giftable).

    • Left clicking on a Glyph you don't own takes you to the Market (if purchasable).

  • Cambion Drift dynamic Defense missions now have a time-limit to clear the initial spawns on the camp before automatically advancing to the Defence & Reinforcements stage.

  • All remaining enemies for Bounties will now be marked, regardless of range because sometimes enemies will be outside of 60m of the player and just not visible.

  • The limit of players you can choose to /ignore is now capped at 100. When adding a new ignored user, the older ignored user will be prompted for removal if already at 100. The count and cap has been added to the ‘Manage Ignore List’ screen for ease of use. This decision was made after a performance issue was revealed and a cap must now be added to avoid further issues.

    • Upon login, those with 100+ ignored players on their list will be culled down to 100 most-recently-added entries.

  • Updated the Rescue NPC behaviours to alleviate awkward standing around during combat and poor “cover” choices.

 

Fixes:

  • Fixed Galvanized Mods not properly functioning with the Catchmoon’s guaranteed Impact proc.

  • Fixed the ability to reach locations where enemies cannot not damage you by using Hydroid’s Undertow. 

  • Fixed another case of having a Helminth Invigoration fail.

  • Fixed inability to equip the Secondary Deadhead Arcane on the Athodai. 

  • Fixed the Braton Prime Stock having incorrect Ducat value for its rarity. It is now 25 instead of 15.

  • Fixed an invisible volume appearing if you Transferred to your Operator who had the Zato Oculus equipped, resulting in movement issues.

  • Fixed an issue when browsing Son's Wares in Necralisk, where the amount of owned Fass/Vome Residue was always showing 0 in the Ingredients ToolTip.

  • Fixed Bindings used for K-Drive tricks may be displayed incorrectly in the Waverider Quest.

  • Fixed changing the colour of Bash's Lab Dojo room via Polychrome resulting in the Ventkid NPCs skin color also changing.

  • Fixed the Tenet Agendus projectile only having correct visual/audio up until you let one expire from range.

  • Fixed the shield Energy FX of Tenet Agendus isn't affected by custom colour and lingers when shield Skin is equipped.

  • Fixed the Steel Meridian Armor Energy VFX not properly accepting colour changes.

  • Fixed the Prisma Dual Decurions not appearing in the Codex and unable to Chat Link.

  • Fixed for some vehicle sounds, including Yareli's Merulina, playing when in the Arsenal after going to the Upgrade screen.

  • Fixed missing sounds for Clients when summoning On-Call Crew.

  • Fixed a script error when setting a Kuva Lich as On-Call while having no other Crew members.

- Please allow us to arrange our rooms in Dojo without the need to destroy them.

- More architect tools like copying and moving a group of decorations all at once.

- Please allow us to sell our built K-Drives to Ventkids for standing, same what we already have with modular weapons.

- Railjack's atrium shows the default skin from the inside with wear and tear when a different Railjack skin is applied, I think the design team forgot about this matter.

- Please let our Moa roam in our orbiter like the rest of the pets.

- Creating "Logs" section in the game would really help us read what we missed if some important message showed up or a dialogue, for example if Lotus said something about an objective during a quest, I want to read it again.

- The auto movement after picking up something from the ground is really bad, sometimes I pick something up next to an edge and I fall into the abyss,or I trigger an alarm by auto moving to detection lasers, please change it so we stand still, this bothered me for a long long time :(

Thanks DE. I would like to point out some annoying problems as a codex completionist.

DEIMOS:
deimos swarm mutalist moa / eximus doesn't spawn

deimos leaper doesn't exist anymore

RAILJACK:

orm basilisk / harpi / weaver doesn't spawn only the elite variant does.

vorac / orm / axio engineer doesn't spawn in volatile missions, only the taro variant does.

1) The forward artillery cannon will instead fire the weapon equipped on the railjack's turrets when seated by the host of the session.

2) If you build melee combo with Weeping Wounds/Blood Rush/the Gladiator set bonus, use Naramon's Power Spike to maintain your combo, switch to an exalted melee and hit at least one enemy, and then let the exalted weapon's combo duration reset(either on its own over time, or using a heavy attack), you will lose:

  • The Gladiator set bonus applying to the exalted melee
  • Weeping Wounds, Blood Rush, and the Gladiator set bonus applying to your melee weapon, even if you still have some combo remaining on your melee weapon

To regain WW/BR/Gladiator, you must either use a heavy attack on your melee weapon to lose all of your combo and start over from zero combo, or wait for Naramon's Power Spike to drop you to the previous combo multiplier(e.g. With a combo multiplier of 5x at 97 hits and Body Count equipped, it takes 17 seconds to drop you to 92 hits, another 17 seconds to drop you to 87 hits, another 17 seconds to drop you to 82 hits, and another 17 seconds to finally drop you to the previous combo multiplier of 4x at 77 hits; in total, you must not use melee for 68 seconds to regain the effects of WW/BR/Gladiator(again, alternatively, you can also reset your entire combo with a heavy attack and start over from zero combo))

3) Eidolon lures will sometimes still move after being commanded to hold position; noticeably when equipping archwing to quickly grab another lure mid-fight with an eidolon while commanding the charged lure to hold postion.

4) If you use your melee weapon at all in a mission, the blocking animation for your exalted melee weapon, breaks.

5) We still teleport back to Umbra upon Transference instead of vice versa.

6) We still don't have a feature to disable Umbra's Sentience passive via a toggle in our arsenal for the players who don't enjoy its gameplay.

Wow. This bug has been the bane of my existence for a year. Game feels so weird now when I won't get stuck every single time using operator.
