BowserNC Posted December 10, 2023 Share Posted December 10, 2023 (edited) Since this event is so heavily oriented on player coordination and generosity, we were given such a little time frame for this event, we barely unlocked the 60k rewards and I can't see any possibility of reaching the 80k goal and beyond. That being said, I really hope we're gonna get the rest of the glyphs and skins, cause some of them look cool (I want the one for Fulmin). I hope DE will be generous and give us the rest... I think it's down to a number of factors though, including how times are tough economically for many people across the world, and I reckon most players with a lot of platinum are keeping it ready for the update, so they can buy Qorvex and such. So if everyone just gave a couple of 5p argon crystal decorations (only way to make your argon permanent!) we'd hit the cap :-P. These are definitely factors. Personally, I refuse to participate as long as they measure gift volume instead of gift value. A Kuva Lich Hunter Collection being equivalent in progress to an Argon Crystal decoration has always been super lame. It is also coinciding with a very very dull period in the game as there is nothing interesting happening. They should have set it to co incide with an update. Players just don't care I guess , and rightly so. I haven't even met any of my earlier friends in game , I am not just gift things to random people. And I can't really get myself to feel excited about anything. Asto the reaching goals , I am pretty sure it's rigged and something will be done by DE. Which way you choose to measure that doesn't really matter. The whole point is supposed to be for a charity anyway, so people who get bent on a leaderboard of spending should just get ignored. Its got some really nice colouring I prefer over the Tenet skin style. Scratch that, we did get the Fulmin skin too, just in a seperate later instance! Nice!
