Does Deep Archimedea have seamless transitions between missions? Or is it same as Sortie ?

You commit to the 3 back-to-back missions, so unlike Sorties, it takes to directly to the next mission.

I really hope that we can at least use 1 gear slot without a randomizer.

Otherwise i'd have to delete a lot of stuff from my inventory to reduce rng (and do it only for 1 activity).
I farmed duviri with it and it was a pretty bad experience but thanks to reroll mechanics-
made it through.

But you cannot reroll for archmedia.

Full rng would mean pubs being fully unplayable with most players being leeches, waiting to be carried  .

Hi Tenno!

With Dante Unbound’s release this week on March 27th quickly approaching, we have made the decision to launch without the Deep Archimedea game mode and instead ship it in a Hotfix on all platforms next week.

The team assessed where Deep Archimedea was at and determined some additional time was needed to iron out the last wrinkles and make those final polish checks. Given the complexity of the game mode and all the careful design considerations required in its development, we want to ensure that when it gets to you in its best state!

As an additional reminder, Deep Archimedea requires 2 Netracell Search Pulses in order to play. With that in mind, we wanted to reassure you that we will be adding a one-time bonus of 5 Netracell Search Pulses with the Deep Archimedea Hotfix next week, which will last until the following weekly reset (Monday, April 8th @ 0:00 UTC). This should ensure everyone who meets the requirements can attempt Deep Archimedea, even if the weekly five Netracells have been completed!

We’re excited to have Dante Unbound finally in your hands on March 27th and look forward to seeing you put your loadouts to the test next week with Deep Archimedea!

Thanks for your patience, Tenno.

This should be the way for all updates - release the basic stuff and then release the next bits over the following weeks to flesh it out. Less bugs, less strain on the devs, more gameplay interest kept current for longer.

iirc the research progress for the deep archimedia can be done over multiple runs so you can always do a setup with at least one good piece of gear then come back with a different combo to get the other research points.

I'm still confused on if the attempt for deep archimedea is replayable until you get the reward like netracells or if it will be burned up and we can longer use that attempt to get a reward it if we get a mission fail.

Yeah this would force me to delete all weapons that are "bad" even if i have a build on them

Just to clarify, do we need to use our normal search pulses to get these 5 extra ones or do they stack to a total of 10( assuming we didn't use our pulses from the normal weekly reset)? It would be nice to know because then we could save our normal pulses to run more Deep Archimedians once the hotfix drops.

Unless I completely misunderstood them, the devs stated it was based on your highest research run. We will have to wait and see how it actually works.

Players can exchange 2x of their 5x weekly Netracell Search Pulses to access the week’s Deep Archimedea. Doing so gives you unlimited chances to play Deep Archimedea missions and earn the available rewards before each weekly reset.

So does this mean we can run the Deep Archimedian only once per week, regardless if we have more than 2 pulses?

While I'm sure the extra time spent on it would be nice to fix some bugs-- let's all remind ourselves that there are still going to be bugs.
I'm more questioning the impact or ease of finding these bugs to be more a concern.

Considering places like Duviri and how that turned out? Ending up as another part Archipelago?
The less a mode breaks, the better. Considering DE probably won't revise it for another few years most likely.

Speaking of Duviri and it's botched Melee, can we finally get Auto-Melee toggle?
I should not be running into a bug that you bunch said was fixed-- but still happens anyway!
Nothing like trudging through an entire mission having both guns, your jumps and pretty much every form of control removed EXCEPT constant Melee attacks.
But hey, clearly the fix is "just don't run into it, lmao" because gee golly gosh! Why didn't I think of that!?

Next person to tell me "just don't hold the button" clearly has never used Melee.
It happens if I'm not using Melee, it's ludicrous.

I don't understand why it's so difficult, but than again? The only things they like telling us "Nah, we don't wanna" so god knows why it is...

Thanks for this part especially. I was holding off my netracell missions just in case I needed them available.

Will we be able to do multiple deep archimedea in one week?

2 runs of Netracell seems to the price for running Deep Archimedia as many times as you want for that rotation... from what I understand.
DE's wording can be weird at best and misleading at worst.

Kinda weird that it costs Netracell runs, but eh-- whatever.
I just hope they don't give me Revenant/Khora/Xaku/etc. on the first run AGAIN.
Constantly seeing their faces in the Circuit because I don't playing them drives me nuts.
Especially since I use a large variety of everything else.

I think it is supposed to be netracell alternative, for people who is geared enough. So having it use the same key makes a bit of sence, if you not sure you can do it - run cells for shards to power up.

Thank you! That clears it up for me.

Ive got a question, if the weekly reset happends on monday next week and we get our standard 5 keys for the netracells, are we getting 5 more keys when the update comes aswell, beacuse im guessing the hotfix will come next wednesday?

The Netracell Drop Table changes will still come in Dante Unbound tomorrow.

What about those of us that did netracell already. I did mines because [DE]Pablo said on twitter that with the update we will get our keys back, that way we can still do them even if we already did. Will we be refunded for the new update or will we have to wait till the next reset?

Will that hot fix only be for adding the game mode? I'd love to see some fixes for other weirdness like not being able to use arcanes on Garuda's Talons

Additional info:

Netracell Drop Table changes are still coming with the Dante Unbound update on March 27th.

Just curious if any tweaks were made to the actual Netracell misson?

They're not really "very hard" and done faster solo, which feels...odd.

Bigger read circle?  Better mob spawns and/or pathing AI?  Less random marathon running (smaller overall tile for the mission)?
