Nez-Kal Posted December 9, 2017 Share Posted December 9, 2017 (edited) Because they needed a weapon that helped illustrate Mirage's ability to pack on extra Damage and Multi-shot WITHOUT that weapon being too OP and being an "Obvious Mirage Weapon" (AKA, Simulor, and other weapons that do better in her hands then other's). Akzani would have just been a Spray and Pray, barely noticeable number difference, where as Akbolto will be a single shot at a time, obvious Damage Boost and bullet count weapon to use with her. Aeon94 Posted December 9, 2017 Share Posted December 9, 2017 Well..Akzani is Mirage's signature weapon ( or at least fav weapon of Mirage's original user ) and don't think that applies to Prime tho. Wasn't Valkyr bundled with a Tigris and a Lecta but Prime came with Cernos Prime and Venka Prime? Did't Oberon come with Magistar but Oberon Prime come with Silva and Aegis Prime?
