  1. Decoy can mitigate a fair bit of incoming damage on the target even on anti CC weeks like this one with the "oops all overguard" modifier on the enemies but yea. The MD target could be a bit tankier. They also made the circuit defense target mega tanky and I think that was a good change.
  2. Weekly reset was 3 days ago.
  3. You could use loyal merulina. Alternatively for the EDA you can skip the last vosfor reward and equip the laetum or angstrum.
  4. They are ground locked so in an open area like in this week's boss arena they arent very threatening. I havent found many types of CC that work against them even though the patchnotes make no mention of what should or shouldnt work against them. I know banshee can yeet them with her 1. Peak comedy btw for the patchnotes to say they are slow moving. I think they would win against most other enemies in a race through a tileset.
  5. Do you want to get carried? If not then find something to contribute. There are always options to contribute in meaningful ways if not with damage then with support abilities, weapons, companions, specters or focus schools (whichever the modifiers allow). Finding those options can be your challenge until you unlock EDA.
  6. Waiting for OP to spend 200 plat to rename to "Anti-Overguard".
  7. It feels like a bug. Hollow vein's deal damage but not that much more than other enemies.
  8. Correct. Last week going cold weapon and vazarin for instant revives were great support contributions. Throw in subsumed damage buff or a loki decoy and you could do some solid contribution to the team. This week decoy and dispensary are really good subsumes. Cold is again a strong supportive choice against overguarded enemies like the hollow veins or the necramechs. If your weapons are bad you can still support your team with a wide array of helminth abilities. Throwing left over amphors at enemies is also a good thing to do this week. Many people in this game have forgotten that playing support is a thing that you can do.
  9. I am giving up on 0.75 arcanes. If I do one steel path mission for 5 minutes I will get an entire arcane. You are being baited into ruining the gamemode for yourself with 0.75 of an arcane. The 37 point reward being so low is deliberate, specifically to allow you to mitigate bad luck.
  10. The challenge is determining which of the modifiers is the most detrimental so you can skip that one and enter smooth sailing mode. The 37 point reward is bait.
  11. But you just said DE will never tell us. Has Pablo talked about DA having an unowned bias? If yes, do you have a link to where he said that?
  12. That's not a sample size you can draw conclusions from. I always had access to fully formad weapons, is that proof that this bias doesnt exist?
  13. Obliterating the target from half hp in one single tick does not feel intended. Wouldnt be the first time we have defense objective deleting bugs on certain enemy attacks.
  14. Duviri doesnt let you bring your miter incarnon regardless of what you roll.
  15. The thing is: with a lucky setup it is pretty easy. I got super lucky two weeks in a row with the game giving me my most used frame last week and my second most used frame with one of the best incarnons in the game this week. However while it was easy it also was pretty fun to me. So calling it "too easy" like it's a problem is not something I agree with.
  16. All but one restriction. Do not get baited by the 0.75 arcanes the 50 vosfor represents. A 5 minute steel path mission gives you an entire arcane. Getting to use one op incarnon weapon guaranteed makes such a giant difference and the 37 research point reward is basically yelling at people to do so.
  17. I think it would be better for the community if the 50 vosfor reward for reaching 37 research point and thus having every modifier active would be gone entirely with nothing to replace it. We are so intensly reward driven in this game that even a carrot as moldy as 50 vosfor (which translates to 0.75 arcanes) is still considered desireable if placed on a stick. People are willing to worsen their time in this game mode by a lot just for 0.75 arcanes. I think DE needs to step in and prevent that. The one time sundali reward can stay, it's harmless. The 50 vosfor reward is causing people to behave against their best interest though. I am convinced the reception of this game mode will be better even before/without compromising on anything else if that moldy carrot on its stinky stick is gone.
  18. Insanely cracked setup. Miter goes so hard. Enemies didnt get past my snow globe + loki decoy setup. Teamed up with a protea for infinite ammo and energy. Didnt even need to deactivate gear embargo.
  19. I dont think the patch notes were tone deaf, I think the dante nerf in its entirety was not well thought out. DE admitted they made a mistake. I'm just not sure what possessed them to rush out this dante nerf so quickly. I know people are joking DE is scared to release something above dumpster quality but that's silly. And yet I have no other explanation.
  20. Gear embargo and ammo deficit being active in the same week as the fragmented tide does make me think someone at DE chose that specifically to mess with people.
  21. I do hope that mission modifiers arent just completely random and someone at DE has the ability to veto particularly heinous combos. Then again you can also just deactivate one modifier and still get the max rewards. Other than turning off the ammo reduction modifier you can also bring a battery weapon instead of the suggested weapon. Dispensary seems like a very solid choice this week. All 3 missions are pretty stationary.
  22. Never feel bad about stealing builds. I dont know why some people have such an icky opinion about looking at what other people came up with in this game. It's one thing to judge someone for lacking knowledge but then also looking down on trying to gain information is just arrogant.
