  1. I made a similar thread about this a long while ago. I share some of OP's sentiments. Public games right now are a wild west with no way of control for the host. If DE can't be bothered to implement a full-on blacklist system, at the very least they can implement some sort of "play-style" matchmaking parameter that players choose from to help mitigate casuals getting matched with "meta-slaves". This is like what @KitMeHarder proposes. In the proposed UI, matchmaking has two buttons : The existing button gives the options we have now: Public, Friends Only, Invite Only, and Solo. A new button that defines your preferred playstyle: Relaxed and fast-paced. The matchmaking systems take this new parameter into account to matchmake players. Players with the "Relaxed" playstyle will only be grouped with other "relaxed" players while the players with the "fast-paced" playstyle will only be grouped with other "fast-paced" players. This will hugely improve the public experience because people are more likely to be matched with people who have similar goals in mind, thus encouraging cooperation. Fast-paced players who are sensitive to mission completion times won't be upset because some relaxed players want to appreciate the game's scenery thus wasting their time. On the other hand, relaxed players won't have their precious moments stolen because their fast-paced teammates want the mission to be completed as soon as possible.
  2. Well, DE somewhat caved into their demands with the command instrinsics. I can literally leave my Railjack unattended and it will mow down starfighters by AI crew and be constantly repaired and defended from boarders. Also it seems with the addition of command intrinsics, some players see other players as a liability. Why is that you may ask? Because Railjack ground enemy density is much lower than normal tileset missions because of game performance reasons. Adding more players won't see a noticeable diffeeence. Another reason to the pile, those players may not do their intended jobs becomes a huge burden to the entire squad. So, some railjack owners may prefer to go solo instead. Consequently, this reduces the amount of open squads in public.
  3. Recently, we have exilus tome mods like this that broke the rule : https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Lohk_Canticle
  4. You can load Warframe Mobile with apple silicon macs. You can play on your mac on February 24th 2024 when that releases.
  5. Have you experienced anything beyond 60 FPS? Trust me, once you get used to high refresh rate displays, you will feel how choppy 60 FPS is.
  6. Can't you just play it on your main account or something? You do know account merging is possible, yes?
  7. I am still waiting for Grendel to have an actual passive that doesn't rely on one ability "feast" for it to function. Anything that matches his "glutton" theme.
  8. For one, the economy will be "a raging dumpster fire" during this "transition" phase. Console market items will severely deflate in value during this period and buyers alongside sellers are all holding out on pulling the trigger thus decreasing demand. If anything, you should sell your items NOW.
  9. I was one of those who used to endorse the "get everything as soon as possible" mentality. Turns out? It only makes my relationship with the game miserable. The FOMO, the pressure to get everything, and all of that. Once I changed my mindset to "get everything at the pace you find the game to be enjoyable", all of these weeklies felt like "Cool, Not like I NEED to get everything though, I'll just pick what I am interested in most or what is mandatory for progression and then do the others if I feel motivated to do it.". If I miss it? Well, there's always next time. Also, we can get three archon shards per week now if the "Weekly vault raids" are indeed true. It's clear from the start that DE wants to artificially limit the Archon Shard acquisition rate to boost player engagement. If DE is silent about the "acquisition rate" issue, then it's working as intended and the amount of players who complained about it is not big enough to warrant such change. If you want to complain, be my guest.
  10. Oh yeah, that infamous bug. The cause of that is the massive infested presence in the area prevents fighters from spawning. From my observation, the game has some sort of "enemy cap" that prevents consequent spawn if there are too many "enemies" present on the map. You can see on Veil Derelicts, DE made the infested has a very high spawn rate that quickly fills up the cap.
  11. Have you been living under a rock? DE has been using AI (Machine Learning in particular) to do some of the language translations. The Thai language is one of them.
  12. Let me remind you he is the one responsible for adding nullifiers into the game. A bane for the "fun" crowd. It left a scar for some people.
  13. The blessings of open-world instances are that we can break off from the squad to continue on our own. Oh, you are leeching in my session? I'll leave you to the mercy of Host Migration.
  14. DE won't kill the lucrative Eioldon arcane market overnight permanently, so that's not going to happen. Having said that, having more options would be welcome, be it Pathos Clamps, Duviri Arcanes, other open world exclusive resources, large amount of focus, etc.
  15. It would be great if we could use the Railjack's tunguska cannon to do an "Air-Strike" at a specific location that insta-kills enemies (with the exception of world bosses) regardless of level.
  16. Buggy mess.. or it doesn't play the way you want it to be? I see you are rambling about 2 artillery shots. Well, can't you just craft it during the mission? Or is that too "tedious" or not "engaging" for you? If that's the case, I don't know what to tell you.
  17. According to you, maybe. I for one enjoy it. Looks like micro-management is not the type of gameplay for you. You only want to do ONE thing at a time. Railjack 1.0 was full of micro-management and DE watered it down so much that it feels like I am playing the usual "muh power fantasy" Warframe. On the bright side, Warframe is an archipelago where you can literally ignore huge parts of the game you hate without it being a progression block... except a very few outliers. Even that, you don't need to fully invest in one island to get rid of that block.
  18. You want to keep the timed exclusive aspect? Fine, it's your game. However, is it worth to sacrifice the good will your player base has for you to make a quick buck? My advice going forward. Don't do this again.
  19. Ah I see, they just changed the names of subscribers and online members. Still, I am glad that I do not rush to buy these "controversial" things. While the early adopters get "screwed over", I can buy these for cheap once DE returned to reality after smelling all of dat dosh.
  20. How do they get the data tho? Do they have an insider that provided the data calls?
  21. Wow, DE is adding more fuel to the already raging fire. I guess DE can't hear the screams over the 25-50 million bucks they just made in a week. That's like, about up to 30% of their average annual revenue. At worst, they will offer a cheaper pack with only the exclusive accessories (signas and skins) or added more platinum.
  22. This is too easy to abuse. Look at Payday 2. I remember the host wanted to be a funny guy and kicked everyone in the game before we were about to cash in. Instead of a kick option, a better suggestion is an "Avoid this player" option so you won't get matched with the same person ever again.
  23. That's not going to happen. Can you imagine a fully decked-out tauforged +15% ability range archon shards (+75% total) equipped nuker would bring to the already on-life support game balance? Archon shards are already game-breaking as it is. I am starting to believe the very limited acquisition is intentional to prevent it from spiraling out of control which will lead to nerfs. We all know how Warframe players react to nerfs. Unlike umbral forma, you can unequip the archon shards on your unused frames and move them to your regularly used frames.
  24. Do keep in mind that Frame Generation techniques requires at least 60 "real" frames per second for a playable experience. I am sure DE will add it sooner or later.
  25. I am in the "wait and see" crowd. I don't want to be screwed over as an early adopter when DE decided to release a cheaper pack or make it no longer exclusive after enough community backlash.
