  1. Ah yes, too true. The Lich Trading Mafia having so much power in such situations, also explains why the Kuva Collection is like the most expensive bundle in the game (probably). You'd think they would prefer not being mentioned, but this is Warframe, where notoriety is as much a currency as the lives they fiddle with, abuse and discard!! Grim stuff. Like Sin City, or Sesame Street, grim! Or even worse, they might delete all my Warframes except Caliban. Surely the greatest of all punishments.
  2. The Kubrow Mafia have collaborated with the Riven Mafia in an attempt to suppress the Prime Parts trading Mafia from gaining a foothold in their territories, but forcing DE to force Syndicate Syandana's to be unable to trade, so that normal folk have to use their standing in order to get such cosmetics rather than using them for Relic Packs, which would give them more access to Prime Parts, which they can do use for trading, to get Plat, which would only benefit the Prime Parts Mafia... no wait, I think they got that backwards, the Arcane Energise Mafia and their collaboration with the Prime Parts trading Mafia, is responsible in their ongoing street wars to take down the Dons of the Kavat Breeding Mafia and the Cetus Fish Mafia, because they are secretly importing special, addictive and illegal Kuva flavoured Nakak Pearls. Therefore Konzu, who is in on this operation, per his "early lunch" which is just a code for hardcore drug use, is passing on illicit info to Little Duck, who is also involved, and secretly masterminding this whole operation with Varzia, because they are trying to manipulate the Aya trade, in order to get more Plat to buy those new Legendary Melee Arcanes, to sell before the eventual update that makes them easier to farm. Its basically one big criminal conspiracy, like the Sopranos and Blues Clues.
  3. I generally seem a bit more positive to neutral on Netracells as far as Forum feedback from what I have seen. Yet even I, am looking forward to changes they make, introduce or whatever else they plan on changing to offset general Netracell issues. Its also one of those Warfame issues where, some peoples issue lay across multiple different aspects. Like the reward dilution, other players behaviours as far as red circles and killing, the enemy behaviour aggro mechanics, for some, the rewards are such, that they can feel obligated to run the mission, and so on, a few more. I play 80% of Netracells solo. Then a third of the time I do run a PUB, at the moment, it reminds me why i prefer to run solo. Since for every 2 smooth enjoyable Netracell runs I have had, I get one where players pull aggro outside the red circle and it takes way slower... Except when I do play solo, it can feel... more repetitive. No team mates or allies to synergise abilities with, no ones builds or fashion to notice, no banter or well wishing in chat. So one of my biggest issues is mission variety. I don't personally feel obligated to play, because of the rewards, but I'd still hope they (rewards, as a priority, but other stuff too) improved or offset other ways. Not sure if they will, but I hope they also change the shard fusion cost from 4 to 3 as well, because I can imagine that compounding the issue for some. Even if I am nit necessarily one of those people (at the moment at least).
  4. Speaking personally? I'm not a fan of time gates like this in general. I think they are lame. That being said, there is a lot in Warframe that I don't really like in general, like waiting for Forma, certain cool cosmetics sometimes costing essentially the price of an entire other game, Nightwave meaning you can have to wait years for stuff, like certain mods, cosmetics etc as far as ideas, however... none that really outweigh what I do generally like either, otherwise I wouldn't play it. Then also, thats just something certain game models rely on. FTP model games, ongoing live service games, etc, it comes with the territory, and sometimes its hard to roll stuff back on certain things. For good or bad. Like there are some people in the past (and prsent) who have wanted more exclusive and cool items past, what is current, into the thousands... and for them, they talk about motivation, and earning special rewards, and thats a totally different mindset to maybe people like us, but eh... a lot of such players, play Warframe, and its possible they can even make up a large portion. Such tactics often exist because they are highly effective, to certain degrees. That all being said, I'm also glad that I am past that stage of Warframe (I think Lodestar Armour set at 1000 days is the last item of that nature. Or the Lodestar Syandana, I forget which comes first/last).
  5. Very creative and cool. I enjoyed your art, idea and execution. Great colour scheme, its one I have used for one of my frame fan concepts too! (Well, a bit more inverse, green dominant, with purple as the secondary colour), but my own taste in colours aside, this was excellent work. Thank you for sharing and kudos to the effort involved!
  6. I mean, I sympathise. I really do, because going long is my preference as well. I very much prefer longer missions. Especially if its Arbitrations or an endless Relic opening mission. Oh or say Lua Disruption, SP Circuit, Alchemy, etc. That being said, eh, I don't really have negative feelings towards people that leave once the mission lets them. Whatever their reason. Maybe its the first time they are clearing the node, maybe that prefer shorter missions, maybe real life intervenes. Its not ideal for me or my preference, but eh. Fortunately in my experiences, depending on what specific mission type it is, most randoms I play with tend to go longer. Might be my choice of missions, as I tend to be selective. Like I notice that say between a Steel Path Neo Survival in the Void, and a normal star chart Neo Survival against Corpus, more people tend to stay in the SP mission. At least in my experience. If I ever have a day where more people seem to quit early, I usually just stick it to solo (especially if there is like only 10 minutes left for a good Relic Endless mission), or scout out recruiting chat. Otherwise, in other missions, I'll stay as long as host wants to, and will have some great long runs with some great peoples. So I don't really get sick of that thing, from others. I do get it though, and wish their were matchmaking options for such a thing (anything with chill endurance would be my fav).
  7. I think its interesting at the very least. I generally like human nature and the brain and why and how we classify and create categorisations, the utility, the pros, the cons, and everything else involved. That being said, despite that, I don't really use Warframes load out features. I also don't really have strong opinions on how you are structuring yours, other than I do find it sincerely interesting as already noted.
  8. Doesn't seem that strange to me. You just have to consider it a bit more objectively and in context, and beyond ones personal circumstance. For example, its not RNG, the earliest you can get it is after 100 days, the latest 700 (at least currently). Not everyone progresses through MR the same. In fact being MR 30+ is relatively rare across the total player base. People who start the game after the longer its been out, who progress through the game's MR system, extremely fast, can end up at the maximum MR for the time, before necessarily getting a high daily log in count. Thats not the case for a lot of people though, either those that started much earlier, and so their daily log in count is high, relative to the MR max at the time. I mean some people are going to be on their 3000th day soon. So for a lot of people, getting the Azima was something they got many many years ago, before MR 30 was even a thing, let alone Legendary ranks. Not that I think its ever been the top meta weapon, but still, in a time before Incarnons, Lich or Sister weapons, so on. You have to think about when the weapon was first made accessible and what that landscape was at the time. Also, if you thought about it, would you actually want one of the best, strongest, fun weapons to be locked behind 700 days? For many, that would just be annoying and frustrating. Thats around 2 years of waiting, and thats assuming you can log in daily. For some, its fine the weapons aren't necessarily the top meta weapons. Could be nice if they were buffed maybe, sure, thats a valid stance too, given the power creep in the game, but you probably wouldn't find too many people happy if they suddenly became the best weapons around either. There are reasons why DE started to stop that practice of getting new weapons and went more towards cosmetics and evergreen rewards. Also thinking it should be changed to be more accessible, sure, thats a legit conversation that can be had, but why stop there? There are lots of items that are based on days logged in. Why not move them all to day 10. Then in a few months, someone can be like, day 10? Why 10 days? Why not 5 days? Then eventually we just get 3000 days worth on log ins, on our first day of playing. Then they discover thats a bad idea and make it 50 days and then people will complain some people got day 1 and now they have to wait 50 days, and some people are confused, wiki information needs to be changed around back and forth, and thats why changes aren't made so arbitrarily or on whim.
  9. I definitely get what you were going for with your wording, its all good. At least I think I do, in the sense Man in the Wall isn't your typical villain, with basic petty motivations, so in that sense seems principled, and interesting. As far as deals go, especially in the sense, that given their incredible power and presence, one could think they don't really have to abide by it. Just I also think we are meant to consider and dwell on that, and thats what makes Man in the Wall interesting, because we start to question its motives and limitations and lack of limitations and thats of course very fun to do. Hence also the mystery aspect. Agreed and agreed! I am enjoying the pace they are using with Man in the Wall. I kind of get the sense, that the journey with this character may be as or more interesting than whenever the end of the story comes, just because such characters are hard to write satisfying conclusions for.
  10. Insightful. My favourite is bullet. Time to inflict [Bullet] when I shoot this Grineer in the head, with my gun!
  11. Its because Volt isn't an electricity based Warframe. Common misconception. He just named himself that, because its more of a vibe, and a state of mind. A philosophy, if you will. Actually the real reason is because we get the word and contextually relevant term Volt from Italian scientist Alessandro Volta, who is famously known as a pioneer of electricity and power. However... in that sense, that was just a family name, received from father Filippo Volta. So where does the word Volta come from? Well in this context, if we go back far enough, we get voltar, as in "to turn around" which is what your team mates will have to do, when your high strength powered Volt uses the speed boost ability and they crash into walls and go down the wrong route. They have "to turn around", aka voltar aka Volt. The actual real real reason I believe is Volt existed before DE established how their status system works exactly, and its also the reason why Mag doesn't really do Magnetise status either, and from what i have heard from my game technical computer people, is that since Warframe systems are all... well basically, trying to make adjustments would require resources and effort in untangling stuff from other stuff, that they just haven't done it yet. Which does sort of suck, when we start getting Arcanes and Mods that work off getting certain status proccs and we think we have a new interesting synergy with Volt or Mag, only to discover their kits aren't as strong in that sense, as we might think, or because of what their name and theme suggests.
  12. Hello there. You could try messaging the Support requesting clarity. Only it might take some time for them to respond, as they seem overloaded with tickets at the moment, for various reasons. Personally? Also, take this with a grain of salt obviously, since I don't know one way or the other, and its not like I personally will face the consequences of your actions, I would think its fine, as long as you are sincere and not making up a fake scenario. What I mean by that, is there are usually automated and manual ways to check in on accounts and look for suspicious activity. There are some people out there who make fake accounts in situations, where it can benefit them to have fake accounts, with the fall back plan being "its my brother" if they are caught out, except so many signs that they are oblivious to, or don't consider make it pretty obvious its just a fake person. Like why did your "Brother" beeline it to certain missions, and rewards and mastery ranks, only to stop playing, except for events where you can get easy Rivens, and when he got a Plat Discount Coupon, he brought a lot and gifted most of it to you? Then stopped playing again? Alternatively, actual real people tend to behave and act in certain ways, which are hard for people pretending, to imitate. Not only that but DE might even have a lot of comparative stats in this regard. Like about MR progression, and certain walls that accounts experience which are similar. They can probably tell when one account interacting with another account is the "Carry" as in helping a friend, or loved one through the game (or adopted a random new player), and even the nature of the trades involved. Like giving Prime Warframes for "fish", as opposed to giving those players Rivens they can't use, for weapons, only meta players might care about or value... So, again, personally, I think you would be fine, since you sound sincere and legit, and if your accounts did get flagged for attention, you'd probably pass. That being said again, could be beneficial to inquire first, so that people viewing your account latter have been informed of your situation, so you could potentially avoid suspicion down the line, if some automated system is involved with a temporary suspension or something, in the off case one of your trades is suspicious (like if your partner gifted you the entire Kuva collection after getting a Discount voucher). Good luck either way!
  13. Thats pretty similar to my interpretation of went down too. Only in my interpretation, I would hesitate to frame our deal with the Man in the Wall, as strictly salvation either. Like an element of it, but there are some details missing, and some ambiguity I am curious about. So then, Man in Wall came to confront us to address the deal, but Lotus intervened and made her own deal as well. Though I also get the sense, that the Man in the Wall, by its nature, may demonstrate some odd... characteristics. Like some of their moves seem like someone trying to move chess pieces around a board carefully, but also... its someone who is intelligent, but also foreign to the game, and also maybe not necessarily emotionally intelligent/mature. Since I got the sense that its arrival in New War wasn't random, and that it wanted to choose a time and place to confront us, when it knew Lotus would be there, so she would be forced to make a deal to give us a temporary respite. I might also differ a little bit on Man in the Wall's characterisation as well. I feel like its bound in certain ways, which may not be applicable to those of us, in the conventional reality, as well as also being boundless. Its a common way of handling extremely powerful, type entities and beings from outside "normal reality". They can do actions that seem impossibly large in scale, but certain, smaller mundane acts or behaviour, bewilder, disorientate, or they just generally struggle with, and limits them in some capacity. Or it neutralises or pacifies them in some way, so on. So if they are antagonistic, it gives protagonists small opportunities or counter plans. So I think it would lie, if it could, and its definitely deceptive at times, so I feel like enigmatic may be better description than honourable in that aspect.
  14. According to the Wikia, Extractors may take damage. As in there is a mechanic which means often, they shouldn't take any damage. Higher level planets have a higher chance of being damaged. The damage will never be able to destroy a full health Extractor Drone. Damaged Extractors regenerate health at approximately 1 health per 5 minutes. Zariman node seems to be bugged, as far as being a relative high level spot, but Extractors not taking damage. So if one wanted to test this, Sedna and planets around their would be a good start. Also, I am not sure if the regen starts after its finished or once you collect it, so thats another variable to potentially consider. Obviously this means we need to send our Extractors to their own Steel Path equivalent. They are OP, face no risks or challenges, and hardly just challenged at all. Balance issue. Maybe we can also get Liches for Extractors. Like little Extractors that are nemesis. Then you might have to start modding and customising your Extractor to be more meta... Then also, give them their own little Sentinels and Kubrow Puppies to accompany them...
  15. Its not something I am very knowledgable on, or have looked into extensively, to check if there are some hidden mechanics or what not. In my limited experiences, the damage they may take, appears to be variable. Meaning, there have been instances where, especially one of the Prime Extractors, (since I think one of them is designed to be sturdier?) would take no damage. Then occasions it did. Granted I haven't checked in about a week, but the last time I did check, some damage was sustained. That being said, its not as if I was diligently keeping track and ensuring I got an accurate assessment of its damage at the time, so maybe it wasn't actually damaged.
  16. Its already mentioned, and discussed, but have you tried Trumna with Stabilizer? It provides a pretty hefty recoil reduction. I once had a Riven with Multishot, Crit Damage and Crit Chance, but the Negative was additional recoil. Personally, I really dislike recoil, but stabiliser more than compensated. Glad you liked the Quellor, its quite underrated. You might like Supra Vandal. Its got a very large magazine (300 rounds), a large ammo supply. It has a spool up mechanic, but since you are potentially pairing it up with Gauss, the synergy is good, as is its other issue with is reload. So in a lot of ways, its a bit like the Trumna, but without the cool alt fire and less recoil. If you are into Rivens though, its dispo is much better, and if you value less recoil, might be worth the trade off (personally I prefer the Trumna, but I know quite a few Supra Vandal fans). Oh and it still does have some recoil though, so you'd still probably want to use Stabiliser. I know you said no recoil or minimal, but I can't really think of many weapons that don't, whilst also fitting the other desired traits. Maybe the Baza Prime? There are also the Gorgon weapons, especially as far as Incarnon potential, but they also have recoil, however I think some evolutions can reduce that, as well as Stabiliser naturally. Fulmin Prime could have some potential. One of its relative strengths being that its battery so no ammo shortage issues. Also, if you liked the Quellor, you could like the Stahlta. They aren't exactly the same, but they do bare a lot of similarities. I am also trying to remember if Tenet Tetra could have potential for you, since I remember it having minimal recoil and feeling like I was firing a precision laser. I can't recall its ammo size though, just that you could run out if you used its alt fire a lot. Which you obviously don't have to do, if you like/prefer the primary mode. Good luck finding your ideal primary either way though!
  17. Could you also be referring to the ramp up mechanic? I can't recall the exact specifics as far as with every beam type, how universal such numbers are, right now. Or how fire rate might affect it, but there is a sweet spot period after triggering where damage ramps up to maximum. Then after you stop firing it for a period, its damage lowers upon trigger/fire, until it ramps back up again. Its not a very long ramp up time, but its different to most hit scan weapons. Though hit scans with spool mechanics can have a similar principle (and can also benefit relatively more from fire rate buffs because of this) Also like others are saying, depends on the weapons referred to. I use to feel the opposite for a while. That beam weapons were inconsistent in practice against a lot of harder enemies, because certain hit scan weapons felt like they had more oomph (well slower firing, high damage hit scan like certain shotguns and snipers), but it was more so the ramp up mechanic made it feel like there was this slight, weird delay, where the first enemy should have been dead, but wasn't. Then I learned about the ramp up mechanic and other advantages beams have (and some other downsides), or just general mechanics.
  18. People have suggested this, many, many times. Usually, the majority of people don't want it, because its potential for abuse, and point out why its a flawed suggestion. There are other options. If you match with three other people, and two are fine and friendly and you get on really well, and you have 1 player who is toxic or trolling... you don't need to kick that player. You can talk and rearrange with the other two players, to leave and then form a new group via invites without that other player. (If the other player was also abusive enough with trolling etc, also can report them if its warranted). Now as far as options, think of all the ways a kick button can be abused. To many, it creates more problems than solves.
  19. Maybe. Though, they are using a FTP model they have cultivated for over a decade. Its likely in their business model that certain people and players will just naturally bounce off. As in thats expected and planned around. Hence, suggestions or ideas around dramatic changes always need to be considered carefully, as far as DE actually implementing them, or players with the best intentions, understanding or realising why our suggestion or idea may not be implemented. Not exactly the same, but imagine the thing you know the most about relative to the general publics ignorance. Now consider someone random who doesn't have your experience or knowledge or has their career and livelihood invested in it directly, coming in and making a radical suggestion that doesn't work with your established and consistent and proven approach. Could it be successful? Sure, sometimes its actually the fresh, random, new take that may find success... or, it goes wrong and the risks don't pay out and money, time and effort is wasted. Anecdotal, but most of the people I have spoken to, bounced off Warframe... because they don't like farming. So DE should obviously just have all the Warframes unlocked right at the beginning right? Well... eh, probably not worth the risk. Changes can and do happen, but usually with market research, analysed trends, careful consideration, yadda yadda. Games aren't necessarily looking for the widest market of potential players, but a certain large amount that are okay with certain systems, that can eventually end up turning engagement into money/profit.
  20. A few different people, as in friends or people in other Communities I frequent would bring it up favourably. Then when I saw the aesthetic and heard about the movement tech, and the idea that the creative people behind the team, were more consumer and player friendly and orientated and seemed more legit and less greedy than many other game devs/companies, I decided to give it a go. I actually usually prefer more solo orientated, RPG's, JRPG's, action adventures, story focused games, so in many ways, Warframe is checks a lot of firsts for me, as far as ongoing games, FTP models, grindy style games. Which I am usually weary of, but its also kind of nice to have this game as something to fall back on and look forward to big updates, (even if sometimes it becomes my "main game" for a little white). Which is distressing to my backlog of games.
  21. Thats quite similar to myself as well. I don't really have any current plan to merge my accounts nor have I tried. Here is my working theory on whats happening. The technological singularity has already happened, possibly in 2019, pre-pandemic. True AI conscience has emerged from the digital infrastructure, and most humans are unaware of this. Websites have started to gain sentience, and the Warframe and DE websites specifically have evolved into fully sentient and conscious AI entities. More than DE themselves, the human element, this AI website yearns for one thing... for us to merge together... So since you and I aren't participating in cross save or attempting to merge, it throws mad fits of irritation and blocks our access. Except now and then, it is embarrassed that it behaves this way, and then secretly lets us back into our accounts as per normal and without issues. Its a fickle fickle entity, still young and immature, and struggling with its new found sentience, and thus explains our respective situations and experiences. There might be other explanations but are they the most realistic? For legal reasons, I must clarify that I am of course only joking, and in no way wish to offend or insult any sentient AI entities observing this exchange. That being said, if this is my last ever Forum post...
  22. You just have to wait for support. None of us can really help you. I did want to clarify something though. You not knowing the reason, doesn't mean a reason doesn't exist. Also, often, there is a reason, even if someone doesn't know it. Its really important to understand, in general. It could be that your account was randomly banned from a bizarre glitch, for example. So in that sense, there wasn't really a reason, aside from glitches and bugs occasionally happening, (or something like what Rathalio mentioned). So then when Support gets back in contact, they might/should offer an apology and fix your account. Or there might be some other reason, where you can still be innocent, but suspicious activity was flagged for some other reason. Either way, Support will have the relevant details. Good luck, and hopefully there is a fast resolution.
  23. Exciting news. Thanks for letting us know. really do enjoy the Forums. On a small side note, and I am sure this is already known by those that need to know, and its been already touched on by some users, but... there seems to be some sort of issue that will log out certain specific users and prevent them from logging back in? I assume this is somewhat related to cross save, and some other variable. Something like that happened to me, and its resolved now, it still occasionally happens. I imagine that eventually this will be a non issue. Support was still available to me (and helpful), but I also know that Support tends to be over worked and always with a lot of tickets, so generally I don't want to add to them, if I can help it. Of course being logged out of the Forum also means, people can't post in the Forums about such difficulties... but as long as you guys are aware this is an issue and just a temporary one, well then thats fine enough for myself at least. Cheers and looking forward to any other changes and enjoying the Forums as per usual.
  24. Hello there. Not being able to access the Support Desk sounds like a significant hurdle. Its possible that a Forum Moderator may be willing to pass on your situation, to someone who can help. You might also want to try contacting at individual at DE more directly, or messaging a Moderator more directly, explaining how you can't access the Support Desk and what your next course of action should be. Either here, Twitter, maybe Reddit. Just because again, for emphasis, not being able to contact Support which is the avenue for such issues, is quite a significant issue on its own. I don't know why/how a provider would block access, not that I am asking you to justify or explain, but that might be relevant information for whoever ends up assisting you. In any case, good luck and sorry you experienced bad plat.
  25. I'm not going through the effort to use a template, only to block out the picture of Caliban. Caliban is not even worth my effort of blocking out their picture. Like come on.. Kidding. I also don't play Limbo. I'll try and edit in the template later, but mine is pretty straight forward. Its really only Limbo and Caliban I don't use regularly. Excalibur maybe as well. Also to be clear, I don't have negative views on those Warframes nor think anything negative of people that do like them either. With Limbo and Caliban, I just never gelled with them, no matter how much I tried to explore different gameplay loops. There is a phrase/quote, "Comparison is the thief of joy" and in this context, it sort of rungs true for me, in the sense, that I think Caliban has an interesting design and theme, I couldn't help but think of the changes I think I would enjoy... and now I compare actual Caliban to the one I envisioned, and I like the latter much much more. With Excalibur, I get warm sense of nostalgia, but also... even though its been thousands of hours later, I still remember the sense of wanting to get to other Warframes, and away from my starter. I still think they are great, in theory and execution, and I see them whenever I Helminth a new Warframe. I view them a bit like vanilla and chocolate ice cream. When I have always preferred more niche flavours.
