Edit 2:00 pm, Nov 12th - Adjusted Prime Accessories Price

Meet Varzia, former Dax.

A new time-limited scheduled event is landing in Maroo’s Bazaar on all Platforms November 16th: Prime Resurgence!

Not only is this the return of a slew of Prime Vaulted items (and more!), but also the discussion of the Prime Vault program as a whole. In this Dev Workshop, we will be going over several core areas of Prime Resurgence to explain what it is, how it works, and share some insight into the Dev decision-making process. More importantly, we will dive into how Prime Resurgence addresses player feedback about Prime Vault.

But first, a bit of history is needed!

The History of Prime Vault

Monetizing a free-to-play game is a balancing act. Prime Access has led the way for us to being able to routinely release premium content and accessories for players that are looking for Premium fashions (Prime Accessories), while providing all players with free access to some of the best gear in the game (Prime Warframes & Weapons). The Prime Vault program started in 2015 as a way for us to return Prime Warframes, Weapons, Accessories, and more from Prime Access Packs that had gone into retirement. We needed a way for Prime content to make its way back around to players, so that if they missed it the first time, they had another chance to either purchase the packs outright or earn Prime parts via Relics. We kicked this off with the unvaulting of Frost Prime, Reaper Prime, Latron Prime, and the Misa Prime Syandana and continued the cycle ever since, opening up the doors to the Vault every several months throughout the year.

The Prime Vault program has undergone many changes over the years, all driven by player feedback and requests. To name a few:

  • Added standalone Accessory Packs.
    • Prior to this change Accessories could only be obtained through the largest pack available. We first offered this option in July 2018 with the release of Nyx Prime and Rhino Prime, and have continued to offer separate Accessory Packs.
  • Permanently unvaulted Valkyr Prime and Nyx Prime Relics into Corpus Railjack missions to help alleviate the backlog of vaulted Prime content in Update 29.10.0
  • Utilized Twitch Drops during TennoCon to earn Vaulted Prime Warframes for free.
    • Loki Prime, Hydroid Prime, Nekros Prime, and Ash Prime.
  • Added Volt Prime and Odonata Prime Vaulted Relics to Baro Ki’Teer’s rotation of Offerings.
    • First appearance in Baro was March 9th, 2018.
  • And many more...

The theme here is to offer more choice and quicker access to Vaulted Prime content. Which is where Prime Resurgence comes in…

Prime Vault meet Prime Resurgence

We first announced that we are looking at running a Prime Vault event of sorts on Devstream 156 - and Prime Resurgence is just that! It is our first attempt at offering an alternative to Prime Vault: A one-stop shop to gain access to Vaulted Prime content and Relics with a fully transparent schedule that allows players time to plan.

Varzia, a Dax from the Old War (who may seem like a familiar face to some), will appear in Maroo’s Bazaar November 16th on all Platforms with Prime goods for you to obtain. You can either purchase Relics from her Wares with Aya (free path) or gain instant access to Prime items and bundles with Regal Aya (purchase path).*

*Currencies are explained further in the FAQ section below.

One thing we want to really drive home is that there is absolutely no scenario in which a player cannot do what they could do before with Prime Vault. More specifically, Prime Resurgence maintains the same two options to gaining access to Prime goods:

  • Instant access through purchasing
  • Free path access through gameplay

Pricing specifications and comparisons are available below in the FAQ section.

While Prime Resurgence maintains some things from Prime Vault, it equally addresses some of the biggest feedback points, but on a much bigger scale.

The Wind in Dev’s Sails

The following two factors prompted a thorough evaluation and consideration of player feedback, which remained at the forefront throughout Prime Resurgence’s development:

1. Lack of Access

A domino effect has been created with Prime Vault in its current state, which has turned into a cycle of:

Unvaulting Rotation Cadence + Repetition -> Growing list of Primes in the Vault  -> Limited Acquisition Options

Since 2019, we have only been unvaulting new Warframes with the exception of Ember Prime, Frost Prime (which had been brought back 4 times*), and the currently live Nyx Prime and Rhino Prime Vault. With 24 Warframes and 42 Weapons in the Vault, releasing 2 Warframes and their Weapons at a time means you may find yourself waiting far longer than you’d be willing to for your favorites to come back into rotation. We have run into the issue where we are vaulting more Primes than we are unvaulting, and managing a rotation cadence that can keep up with that just isn’t feasible anymore.

*Prime Vault in 2020 was affected by the throes of a packed development cycle that had us defaulting to the previous Prime Vault set ups, which required far less pressure on the Dev team. While we understand these were very real reasons for such repetition, it was not ideal and something we’d like to continue to avoid in the future.

We see this exact situation with Mag Prime, who has had the longest unvaulting gap at almost 3 years since her last appearance. For our Nintendo Switch Tenno, who entered Warframe’s list of supported platforms on November 20th, 2018, they missed the first two unvaultings in 2016/2017 and only had a limited run at the Mag Prime and Nova Prime Vault in 2018.

We recognize how this affects the ways players acquire Vaulted Primes - aside from Unvaulting, the only other opportunities are to trade parts or find and squad up with other players who have the Relics they need. While this player-led ecosystem helps us maintain a free path for Vaulted content in-game outside of the Unvaulting cadence, we are looking for ways to introduce an organized increase of supply for players.

Prime Resurgence breaks the cycle of lack of access in the following ways:

  • Addressing the backlog in the Prime Vault by making a large list of Vaulted items available across all platforms on a scheduled rotation. No surprises, full schedule, easy to follow Event!
  • Addressing the lack of acquisition options by centralizing Vaulted items in-game and offering far more options by:
    • Making Vaulted Relics available for purchase with Aya, which is obtained via free-path gameplay.
    • Making Prime Vault Packs AND individual Prime items available for purchase with Regal Aya
      • Prime Vault does not allow for you to purchase individual items, only tiers of packs. With Prime Resurgence you have the freedom to use your Regal Aya beyond packs.

2. Store & Drop Table Management

Part of the Dev Cycle for Prime Vaults includes a 5-piece store management workload across all our platform partners. We are looking for a way to offset the constant bundle management into a universal new Vault Currency, Regal Aya. This would be a huge improvement for us in how we make Prime content available across all Platforms, as it would reduce the amount of time and resources needed for backend setup.

Additionally, the introduction of Aya in the place of Vaulted Relics means we no longer need to hand-curate drop tables for Vaultings and Unvaultings, since one new currency allows players the choice of what Vaulted Relics to buy.

Overall, we’re simplifying the process for both ourselves and players!

Prime Resurgence also gives us a space in-game where we can continue to:

  • Bring back highly awaited Prime items, including accessories.
  • Provide more flexible purchasing options through Regal Aya.
  • Allow players to purchase the exact Relics they need through Aya.
  • Release evergreen rewards (rewards that are permanent) in Varzia’s store:
    • For purchase with Regal Aya:
      • Non-Program Prime Gear:
        • Burston Prime
        • Fang Prime
        • Lex Prime
        • Braton Prime
    • Premium Twitch Prime and other Prime Gaming content that has yet to be re-released since their original run.
  • For purchase with Aya:
    • 5x Orokin Ducats
    • Apris Syandana
    • Necraloid Bundle
      • Includes Glyph, Emblem, and Sigil
    • Spektaka Liset Skin

Prime Resurgence not only opens the Vault doors, but also those of opportunity to build on the years of experience improving the systems in Warframe. We prioritize maintaining fair free-to-play and purchase options, something that remains an important part of Warframe’s history.

Prime Vault (in addition to Prime Access) sales have been incredibly important to sustaining Warframe's development over the years. We are extremely grateful for your continued support and are looking forward to hearing about your experiences with Prime Resurgence! This event will end January 25, 2022, after which time we’ll keep everyone aware of what the future holds! Please keep feedback constructive and remember that the best kind of feedback comes from experiencing the event first hand when it launches November 16th.

Update Nov. 12th - Prime Accessories Adjustments

We have made a change to some Regal Aya item prices - our original intentions were to base prices on the best Regal Aya value per dollar but players have correctly pointed out things should match the Prime Vault Accessories as closely as possible within the new event structure when it comes to the Cosmetics involved. That feedback went into the following changes:

Prime Accessories that were previously valued at 3 Regal Aya have been changed to 2 Regal Aya. This includes:

  • Prime Armor Sets
  • Prime Operator Accessories and the Saita Prime Suit
  • Kavasa Kubrow Prime Set

And for added transparency on specific Regal Aya values per item:

  • Prime Syandanas = 2 Regal Aya
  • Prime Sugatras = 1 Regal Aya
  • Prime Sigils = 1 Regal Aya
  • Prime Sentinel Accessories = 1 Regal Aya
  • Prime Liset Skin & Decoration = 1 Regal Aya
  • Prime Extractors & Blueprints = 1 Regal Aya

We do want to make a point of saying that not all accessories combinations will equal the exact pricing of a traditional Prime Vault Accessories Pack. Item combination is at player discretion since every Prime Vault item will be available for individual selection. The accompanying Warframes in rotations have varying accessory types and amounts. The Nekros Prime accessories, for example, has the Uru Prime Syandana (2 Regal Aya) and the Acanthus Prime Armor Set (2 Regal Aya) for a total of 4 Regal Aya if purchased together through Prime Resurgence. While others, such as the Nova Prime pack with the Edo Prime Armor Set (2 Regal Aya) and the Verlorum Prime Sigil (1 Regal Aya), maintain the 3 Regal Aya to one Prime Accessories Pack value.

We would be remiss if we were unaware of the reasons for the popularity of Prime Accessories Packs, the biggest being the inclusion of bonus Platinum. To quote from the Workshop; “We simply cannot justify or reason with having players pay for one premium currency to purchase another.” But we understand that Platinum increases the value of the packs for players. While those differences in value vary between Prime Vault Packs and Prime Resurgence rotations, our intent is to establish a happy medium by offering all of the scheduled primed Accessories over several months (with the freedom to purchase individual items). Individual Primed Accessories give players more choice - a new and far more flexible approach to Prime Accessories access. Instead of waiting for a Primed Accessory to become available through a single Prime Vault rotation, you now have the option to hand-pick your favorites from several.

With the decrease of 3 to 2 Regal Aya for a handful of Accessories, that freedom of choice is increased that much more for players to determine that value where they see fit! The full schedule of rotations (and the Prime Accessories for those rotations) is available in the Workshop FAQ above, so that you can plan your future Regal Aya purchases if you choose to do so!

As stated in the Workshop, we will be intently watching for feedback during and after the event has run and will be reviewing data for future decision making (in the event that we choose to continue with Prime Resurgence.)

Thank you, Tenno!

The following FAQ section covers the more granular elements of Prime Resurgence we feel are important to give transparency on!

What happens in the Finale Rotation?

The final Prime Resurgence rotation ends on January 11th, 2022, but will be followed by a two week finale for a last chance at all of Varzia’s wares. All the Prime offerings will be scheduled into two parts:

Finale Week 1 = Rotations 1 through 4
Finale Week 2 = Rotations 5 through 8
*Both weeks will include Nyx Prime and Rhino Prime

So if you missed out during the regular rotations you have one last chance to grow your Prime collection during the event.

What happens to Varzia’s shop once Prime Resurgence ends?

Varzia is quite comfortable hanging out with Maroo in her Bazaar, so she will set up shop permanently and continue to offer evergreen items for purchase.

Will Prime Resurgence return at a later date? Will it replace Prime Vault?

Community feedback and overall participation will be monitored throughout Prime Resurgence’s event run to determine if it will ultimately be replacing the Prime Vault program or appear alongside it. This decision will not be made lightly and will require a lot of data before we can make a more permanent commitment. We do anticipate running some Prime Vaults throughout 2022 while this decision is being made, so as to not disrupt player accessibility to Vaulted content.

What is Aya and Regal Aya?

These are the currencies that are used to purchase items from Varzia!

Aya is an earned currency that is your free path to gaining Prime items through the in-game Relic system. It is a resource that is exchanged for Void Relics and other non-premium items available in Varzia’s wares. Aya is found in Missions (The Void or Bounties) or has a chance of appearing in Relic Packs available for purchase in the Market for Platinum or Syndicate Offerings for Standing.

Aya will be replacing Vaulted Relics in the Void and Bounties Drop Tables. In other words, where there was once a Vaulted Relic, there will now be 1 Aya instead. And that Aya can be traded in at Varzia to purchase Relics of your choosing during Prime Resurgence.

The public Drop Tables will be updated on November 16th when the event begins to include Aya, so that you have all the information you need to plan your missions to Aya acquiring!

Regal Aya is a premium currency (similar to Platinum, but not tradeable) that gives you instant access to Prime Warframes, Weapons, Accessories, and Bundles available in Varzia’s wares. It can be purchased in the Market or online storefronts.

Will new premium currencies be added in the future?

We have no plans to add more premium currencies at this time.

Why can’t I trade Regal Aya?

Regal Aya is untradeable to maintain the premium prestige that comes with Prime Accessories. In principle, all Prime Accessories have remained a cash-only transaction, and Regal Aya continues that since it is paid only.

Why Regal Aya and not Platinum?

As mentioned in the Workshop above, we needed a way to offset the store-management issues Prime Vault has while maintaining the value of all Prime Accessories.

What happens to Aya/Regal Aya after the event ends?

Since Varzia’s shop will remain open afterward the event ends with limited selection, you will be able to use your remaining Aya/Regal Aya if desired.

Similar to other in-game events/operations, with a special event-only reward shop, once the event concludes so do the ways to acquire the event-currency. That said, Aya will no longer be able to be acquired in Void missions or Bounties or in Relic Packs and Regal Aya will no longer be able to be purchased.

Will more things require Regal Aya in the future?

Regal Aya will always be exclusively tied to the Primed Resurgence content. In the event that we continue with the program, things within the Prime Vault would be added to Varzia’s offerings and require Regal Aya. There will always be evergreen rewards that will remain in her shop after the event is over.

What requires Aya vs. Regal Aya to purchase? And why?

All of Varzia’s wares maintain their previous acquisition methods. If something was purchase-only via Prime Vault, it will appear in her shop as such (Prime Accessories for example) and will require Regal Aya to purchase. While others that have been previously released through a free-path method, will maintain that as well using free-path Aya.

Why are certain vaulted Warframes not available through Varzia?

Since we aren’t committing fully to Prime Resurgence returning until we complete this first run, we want to make sure there are Prime Warframes that can continue under the Prime Vault program. The decision making process simply involved seeing which Warframes were recently vaulted or unvaulted, since the gap from being available to Vault isn’t as extreme. The following Warframes fall under these two categories:

  • Recently Vaulted:
    • Equinox Prime - 23/02/2021
    • Wukong Prime - 25/05/2021
  • Recently Unvaulted:
    • Banshee Prime - 15/12/2020
    • Mirage Prime - 15/12/2020
    • Chroma Prime - 27/04/2021
    • Zephyr Prime - 27/04/2021

You may notice that Nyx Prime and Rhino Prime are not included in the ‘Recently Unvaulted’ list, that is because they will be available during the finale. Since Nyx Prime’s Relics are already permanently unvaulted via Corpus Railjack missions, and Rhino shares a pairing with her, we were able to include them as part of Prime Resurgence with little added work involved. Considering these two have already had all of the background setup done prior to the event, it was a quick and easy add.

How does Pack pricing compare to Prime Vault?

Regal Aya Pack prices are valued as closely as possible with what you could get before in the Prime Vault Packs (keeping in mind that Bundles will always have the best Regal Aya value vs. individual purchases). That was a major priority when determining the exchange of Regal Aya to premium purchases in Varzia’s shop.

Let’s get into the specifics and price breakdowns (using USD as reference):

Taking the current Nyx Prime and Rhino Prime Vault pricing:

  • The Rhino Prime and Nyx Prime individual packs = 39.99 USD
  • The Rhino Prime and Nyx Prime individual Accessories Pack = 19.99 USD
  • The Dual Rhino Prime and Nyx Prime pack = 59.99 USD

Each individual item has the following Regal Aya values:

  • Prime Warframe = 3 Regal Aya
  • Prime Weapon = 2 Regal Aya
  • Prime Accessories vary based on size and type, with the values potentially being:
    • Prime Accessory = 1 Regal Aya
    • Prime Syandanas* = 2 Regal Aya

Nov. 12th - Update on Prime Accessories Price Adjustments:

A Single Prime Warframe Bundle in Prime Resurgence is valued at 6 Regal Aya and includes:

  • 1x Prime Warframe (3 Regal Aya)
  • 2x Prime Weapons (4 Regal Aya)
    • So you are getting a 1 Regal Aya discount.
  • 10k Endo (Bonus!)

A Dual Prime Warframe Bundle in Prime Resurgence is valued at 10 Regal Aya and includes:

  • 2x Prime Warframe (6 Regal Aya)
  • 4x Prime Weapons (8 Regal Aya)
    • So you are getting a 4 Regal Aya discount.
  • 50k Endo (Bonus!)

*And each pack includes its own collection of accessories.

There are 3 Regal Aya packs available for purchase:

  • Regal Aya x3 = 19.99 USD
  • Regal Aya x7 = 39.99 USD
    • Getting the value of 6 Regal Aya when purchasing two of the x3 pack, with a bonus Regal Aya.
  • Regal Aya x15 = 79.99 USD
    • Getting the value of 14 Regal Aya when purchasing two of the x7 pack, with a bonus Regal Aya.

Meaning Regal Aya values equals to the same in the current Vault pricing:

  • Purchasing a Prime Accessory Set = 3 Regal Aya or 19.99 USD
    • The same as most individual Accessories Packs.
      • Note that this varies for some Prime Accessory Bundles, require 4 Regal Aya (ex. Nekros Prime Accessories)

  • Purchasing a Prime Warframe individual pack = 6 Regal Aya or 39.99 USD
    • The same as an individual Prime Vault Pack with the added 1 Regal Aya bonus if you purchase the x7 Regal Aya pack.
  • Purchasing a Dual Prime Pack = 10 Regal Aya or 79.99 USD
    • The same as a Dual Prime Vault Pack with the added 5 Regal Aya bonus if you purchase the x15 Regal Aya pack.

Can you buy multiple Regal Aya packs?

Yes, like Platinum Packs, you can buy multiple Regal Aya packs! As a currency, you can acquire and hold it in whatever amounts you need for your desired items.

Why did you include Endo in the Packs instead of Platinum like in Prime Vault?

Generous amounts of Endo were added to the packs instead of Platinum because we simply cannot justify or reason with having players pay for one premium currency to purchase another. When looking at how this affects pack value, we want to make clear that the decision was made to maintain existing values with how it relates to the Prime items in bundles (and how that relates to their Regal Aya value). Endo and Platinum are both bonuses added to the pack at no additional cost to the player.

Not only that, but Endo is an incredibly important resource needed in powering up your Prime gear with Mods. It’s addition into the packs was made with the intention of giving you the tools you need to get your Arsenal ready for The New War.

Will unused Regal Aya be refundable?

No, unused Regal Aya is not refundable. So if you wish to purchase Vaulted items be sure to use your remaining Regal Aya before the event comes to a close on January 25, 2022. Evergreen rewards will be available afterwards to spend whatever is left over if desired.

Are the Prime Weapons and Warframe Mastery Rank locked?

They work the exact same way as current Prime Access and Prime Vault, a player can purchase a pack and all its gear regardless of Mastery Rank.

Do the Prime Warframes and Weapons come with Inventory Slots, Orokin Catalysts and Orokin Reactors?

Yes! If you purchase a Prime Warframe or Weapon with Regal Aya, it will come with an Inventory slot and either an Orokin Reactor or Catalyst already installed.

How will this affect the Trading of Prime Parts?

In terms of how Prime Parts are traded, nothing changes with Prime Resurgence. You will still be able to trade the Prime Parts that you earn from Vault Relics.

This Event will create more supply, but it is time limited, and players can continue to set and engage in value systems that they feel are fair.

Will Prime Noggles be available through Varzia’s shop?

Yes, but first, the history of Prime Noggles… In 2018 we started to deliver Prime Noggles to player inboxes as a surprise, unadvertised thank you for purchasing Prime Access/Prime Vault packs. We have continued to do so at the end of every year.

That said, we are making Prime Noggles more widely available (and for the first time, players can get multiples) for the first time through Varzia’s shop during Prime Resurgence. The Prime Noggles that will be up for purchase match the Prime Warframes available during Prime Resurgence.

We will still be continuing to thank our Prime patrons via inbox, with some slight changes. Any of the Prime Noggles that appear in Prime Resurgence will only be available through the event, and any Prime Access packs and non-Prime Resurgence Prime Vault packs that were purchased this year will have the related Prime Noggles sent to them to continue the tradition.

When can I start earning Aya?

Aya will be added to the drop tables (The Void or Bounties) on all Platforms on November 16th (start of the event).

Will Regal Aya be available for purchase through Steam?

You will be able to purchase Regal Aya from the site using Steam Wallet! Regal Aya Packs will not be available on the Steam Storefront to purchase (due to technical limitations).

What happens to the Vaulted Relics we purchase with Aya after Prime Resurgence?

They remain in your inventory permanently! You buy it you keep it.

As someone who has been playing since 2017 I already have all these items. And I will say I’m glad I got them all before this “event” dropped. My biggest problem is the removal of platinum from the purchase bundles. The free to play path is great but by removing the plat from the purchase bundles you have told me my money is less value. I will not be buying any of this and I will not be supporting DE further if this is the route the company is going. Introducing a new premium currency in a game that already has a premium currency is about the worst thing I have ever seen you do. You are the shining light in a market of terrible free to play games. Do not go down this route please. We all lift together, so don’t add burdens that will make the community leave you on your own.

Or are you going to go to the point of saying that DE is lying straight up?

0p is not the equivalent of 200p. Nor is 0 Endo. You get zero Endo, zero plat, zero anything at the accessories-level price point. Where is the equal value? Replacing the """gift""" they themselves value at ~$12 for nothing is not keeping the value equal.

0p is not the equivalent of 400p. Nor is 10k Endo. Replacing the """gift""" they themselves value at ~$20 for not enough Endo to rank a single bronze mod to R10 is not keeping the value equal.

0p is not the equivalent of 1,200p. Nor is 50k Endo. Replacing the """gift""" they themselves value at ~$60 for enough Endo to rank a single Prime mod and part of a bronze mod to R10 is not keeping the equal value.

And if they really were keeping the """gifts""" at an equal value, which they're not, then there's not a single solitary reason they can't just give us the same """gift""" they're already giving us now.

So at the moment, yes. Duh. DE says the packs are equal value, 1:1, yet they are not. You're saying that they are equal value, 1:1, yet they are not. Unless you really think this is worth over $2,300 USD:

XVKqjip.png

And this is worth over $260 USD:

SuTW61I.png

And this is worth over $20 USD:

RYKdXLO.png

Then yes, you're a liar.

And if you do believe that those are fair prices, then boy do I have some smokin' hot deals for you. How's 5k plat for those sculptures sound? That's only $240 USD, you're saving $20! PM me I'll sell them to you real cheap.

The endo part of this is easily the most confusing part to me, while I think the regal Aya is an alright option with people justifiably outraged at the replacement of platinum in a prime access with an "equivalent" endo replacement is easily the most questionable thing about this whole event.

And the answer I quoted above really helps bring light to the issue but still leaves out a lot of details.

Like for example, I have well over 500,000 endo sitting in Ayatan sculptures right now and so do other people but I still want to enjoy the cosmetics, this 500,000+ endo is plenty of endo to salsify with whatever new war rank 10 mod BS comes out that only people who have farmed up to that point have gotten so it doesn't make sense why we would need further endo to "gear" up for the New War when platinum could have sufficed to help us out with slots or something that is more directly comparable.

By mentioning the New war does that mean we have to deal with MORE rank 10 mod BS on top of already having to deal with all of the rank 10 mods in the game? 50K endo isn't going to be enticing to new players since not only would they have to deal with the current Rank 10 mods that the current endo replacement isn't even going to cover they then have to see that it is part of the new content and further exasperates the grind required and quite frankly I don't want to get worried about this type of stuff but intentionally trying to use it a leveraging point in a hot topic makes it really hard for me to not bring it up. 50K endo is not "generous" when it can't even cover two Rank 10 mods.

Was bringing up the New War the only public justification that can be given for the endo instead of platinum? If so, is the amount provided a reasonable amount to be expecting to spend in order to be geared up for stuff coming in New War i.e. no more than two rank 10 mods needed?

It really isnt, I just look at the pure value of what is in the bundles and what we pay for those bundles.

2x Frames = 650

4x Weapons = 500

4x Accessories = 200

4x Glyphs = 80

= 1520p worth of items.

And that's with low costs used for frames and weapons when compared to what normals cost on the market. And cosmetics avaraged at 50 a pop since their counterparts range from 15-100+ plat on the market.

so ur saying, that single war frame and 2 weapons, holds the same or more value then a full fighting game with 40 hours of game play that comes with 10 character and 3 costumes for each character, and this is at full price not even on sale..and that is just 1 game, most fighting games give more then 4 unique attacks to a single  character....

we will say it again, the plat is not a bonus, plat is over priced, and the reason to buy the bundles is not for the frame or cosmetics, its for the platinum

@DE
Ok... I have 1,45 million Endo on my account currently and roughly another million Endo in unconverted mods and Ayatans.
Do you really think that 10k or even 50k Endo is an incentive for players these days to buy packs? Do you really think that this is what the players need or want considering that the game since the introduction of Railjack spams us with Endo rewards.

There is not even enough stuff in the game you can use endo for. Endo has nearly no value to many of the players. Platinum on the other hand still has value.
Either be fair and add plat back to the packs or be fair enough to reduce the price for these packs so the players can use that $ difference to buy that Platinum from other sources.

The players helped you to raise a S#&$load of money for your quest to conquer cancer. Now would be your turn to treat the players in a fair way.

Btw. the whole argument that instead of platinum we get endo now actually is wrong. The Regal Aya packs do not even contain Endo at all. But the platinum is missing for sure.

I was happy seeing that this event was coming. Being able to farm all the prime warframes and weapons was an incredible thing and I thought I could farm their special cosmetics as well. Until I read that the cosmetics were only available with premium currency.

Seriously DE, this is an insult to players. I would've grinded the hell out of regular Aya just to get some cosmetics, or this could've have gone the route of exchanging tokens like the Entrati Syndicate. Hell, the cosmetics could've been blueprints with resource requirements. Instead, we have this overpriced premium garbage which is worse when compared to Prime Vault packs.

What a way to ruin half of the event.

Flaw in your logic. Prime accessories can only be bought with real money. Never have you been able to get them via plat or in-game for free. Thus the need to have to have premium currency to pick them up in game. Totally fair 👌

Yeah. That part is indeed fair. The pricing is off, but there should be a price still. I agree with that.

I am aware that Prime Accessories can only be bought with real money. The problem is that Prime Vault (Accessories) Packs are much more worth than paying for Regal Aya for one, or more, cosmetics or the Warframe packs that Prime Resurgence offers. This Regal Aya to buy Prime Warframe Packs are an insult as I could get Plat with the normal packs instead of Endo, which is easily farmable in-game. Plat offers much more than getting Endo. All I wanted was just to potentially farm for just the cosmetics, but again I have to shovel out money for just one cosmetic, or more depending on what I desire. Other events just let you grind for special currency to get weapons, cosmetics, and other special stuff. Instead I only get to grind Aya for just Prime Waframes and Weapons, which is nice, but it would nice to grind Aya or pay Plat that I own for just the cosmetics. By hey, everyone can vote with their wallets on how much Regal Aya they want to buy in order to get what they want.

You already do, since you cannot pay for what is considered a gift by those who hand it out. Or are you going to go to the point of saying that DE is lying straight up?

You get it. And yes, if people dont like this change they should vote with their wallet. I will likely vote the other way with mine because I never had an interest in the bundles since 90% of them was obtained through gameplay anyways, but I do have interest in select cosmetic pieces.

No not really. DE's value is the only value we can go by since it is the same across all platforms. They are also likely trying to work on something unified that will work across all platforms with the cross-play and cross-save features that are coming.

And I'm sure DE will also be surprised by the increased interest in vault accessories when people can pick them freely instead of being pinned into certain bundles.

That's not how economics work and you need to stop misleading people.

If you dont like what DE is doing with regal aya then say it with your wallet stop buying anything from them and don't buy the regal aya or the packs untill they Change them 20 dollars for 3 regal aya 40 for 7 and 80 for 15 (which you cant get everything with) is a rip off and the packs are the same amount without the plat

DE sead the acquisition wouldn't change them but it definitely has they've become more greedy and have lost connection with a lot of there comunity

Don't buy plat or regal aya them losing money from both hits even harder than a product they just put out losing money

If endo was worth anything which it isn't That means I have 40 million dollars worth of endo and sculptures

Well, as one who has been playing now for about 3+ years on the FTP side, I still don't like how the Raya is being implemented. Sure, I may have spent SOME money on things in the game - A couple of Warframes (Sevagoth who I had a pain farming at first, and Mirage, because I upped and sold her like a noob back in my first year before leveling her and didn't have a way to refarm her back then), a weapon or two (Quellor and Acceltra, but again, hard to farm for me), and maybe some QoL stuff (Adaptors for that one slot which starts with an "E", Warframe/Weapon/Companion slots, and a Lens or two.) - but most of my money has been spent on cosmetics, mainly in the Tennogen and some of the Deluxe Skins.

Why, you may ask? Well, with the Prime Access and Prime Vaults back then, they felt "too expensive" for me, given my limited income. Sure, I bought some things on Warframe, but that's when I had cash to spare, so I couldn't drop money on the Prime Vault and Prime Access packs even if wanted things back then (Still wishing I'd gone for Octavia Prime's, Nezha Prime's, Gara Prime's, and Ivara Prime's accessories back then), so there were Prime Accessories I wanted but never could obtain.

Now, we get to Prime Resurgence, where I get the shot at the same accessories that I want but still have to pay a decent amount for them... well, a higher amount for them, I mean.. Not as bad as they were earlier, given one I wanted but never could buy the Prime Accessory Pack for reasons I stated above, that being the Edo Prime Armor, would've cost me a full $20 to get, but with the new prices, I can at least get it and something else for the $20, but only as a treat for myself.

Will I spend large amounts on accessories besides the one I want on this event? No. But, I will get the Edo Prime Armor and maybe the Avia Armor from the Prime Gaming Loot, because again, I didn't have the money at the time to invest in Prime Gaming Loot... But aside from those two, and maybe a Noggle or two, the only other time DE will be getting money from me will be either when I get a Plat Coupon or some Tennogen comes out that I want... and let's just say that's not until next year.

As for if they bring back those other Prime Frames' accessory packs again during their next Unvaulting? Well, I'll DEFINITELY get them then, so if this debacle comes up again, I don't have to throw my money at the accessories I want with this system.

I fully agree that purchasing a premium currency through another is below your company and rightly so.

That makes no sense.  Just include plat with the purchase of the raya.  $20 pack gets you 200p.  $40 pack gets you 400p.  They can even leave the $70 or whatever it is pack at 1200p despite being more expensive than the dual prime pack and I don't think too many people will mind.

Bringing the items back all at once isn't "added value" it's them being able to make more sales in a shorter time.  It's them fixing the issues they created with the prime vault system.

Allowing for individual selection isn't some benevolent act worthy of sainthood either.  It's how stores should operate.  Imagine if anything outside video games was like "You can't buy that milk unless you buy these tortilla chips."  It makes no sense outside of the perspective of greed to have anything be bundle only.  That's not added value either.

The plat should just be included with the raya packs, and the majority of the complaints vanish and they can get the recognition they were expecting for the free path actually not being total cheeks.  I was looking forward to Resurgence until I got to the part where they described how much of a ripoff it is.

Yea, you can go with normal Aya to get the Relics you want, but if you want any of the cosmetics or fast-track the Warframes/weapons, you're going to have spend money to get Raya.

I'm at least glad there's a FTP method to get the Relics we want at least.

Prime Warframes and Prime Weapons can be farmed in game. Everything else $$$ and at an inflated value due to the loss of platinum in the bundles.

Regular aya is great, but the regal packs need work. The best option would be to just add plat, but DE seems pretty dead set on not doing that, so either cutting the price in half or doubling the aya would be the next best thing. Regal aya offers "more flexibility" in the sense that you can buy only the items you want, instead of a whole pack that might include something you don't want. However, if you compare the regal aya packs to prime access packs, they offer SIGNIFICANTLY less flexibility. Platinum is insanely flexible, as you can use it to get forma packs, cosmetics, trade with players for whatever (including endo, at a much better rate than what's being offered here). Endo has zero flexibility, as it can only be used to fuse mods. The platinum is what gave prime access the majority of its value. Without plat, there's much less value. This seems like its targeted at new players who don't understand how little value endo has. Vets know better than to waste their money on this, but a newbie won't. If the packs included plat instead of endo, the idea of purchasing the packs would appeal to new players and vets - it seems like DE is throwing potential profits away by ignoring half of the playerbase. Vets have been ignored for years, so I guess its not really surprising. but this seems nonsensical even from a profit perspective. I don't feel like this is a cash grab, I feel like DE just has no idea what they're doing.

So, I looked at the scheduling for when each rotation comes out as well as what I wanted from it and the amount of Raya I'd have to get, and I'm going to have to be VERY careful how much I'm spending this time around. May clip a few things out Raya-wise and add those to the WL of things I'll go after maybe next time or just shelve 'em and not go after them

How it stands right now:
Week 1 (Mag Prime and Nova Prime):
Farming for: Boar Prime Relics (need the Barrel and Stock here)
Spending Raya for: Edo Prime Armor (not missing out on this) and MAYBE Velorum Prime Sigil

Week 2 (Limbo Prime and Trinity Prime):
Farming for: Dual Kamas Relics (need the Blades and Handles here)
Spending Raya for: Rift Walker Prime Sigil MAYBE

Week 3 (Mesa Prime and Hydroid Prime):
Nothing of Interest here, so I'll just be farming Aya for when I need it again.

Week 4 (Volt Prime and Loki Prime):
Spending Raya for: Edo Prime Armor IF I don't get it week 1
Other than that, will just be farming up Aya again.

Week 5 (Vauban Prime and Ash Prime):
Farming for: All the Akstilleto Relics and Vectis Prime Barrel and Stock
Other than that, no Raya spending here.

Week 6 (Oberon Prime and Nekros Prime):
Nothing here, although Nekros Prime's armor IS tempting, I may wait on a Vault Accessories Pack to get it, since I can't decide if I want the Syandanas as well... Better safe than sorry in this case!
Other than that, just going to farm Aya again.

Week 7 (Saryn Prime and Valkyr Prime):
These I won in a giveaway with their big pack, so I need nothing here, so more Aya farming.

Week 8 (Ember Prime and Frost Prime):
Farming for: Glaive Prime BP Relics and Sicaris Relics for the Receiver and Main BP

At that point, it looks like I'd need only two of the Raya packs and could still get Nekros Prime's armor set, but there's a catch here... Those "Evergreen" items? Yea, there's at least FOUR I want there: Two Noggles, the Static Reactor Prime Sigil, and Avia Prime Armor, which then dings me a set of 3 Raya (as I'm going by the 7 Raya pack here.) as well. That's about $60 if I go this route, even if I'm not spending money every week on Prime accessories.... The two Armor sets I want for sure, but, do I spend my last three Raya on Noggles or Sigils? Because as it stands, I'm okay with spending $40 (Since it would give me one extra Raya to pick up one more accessory/Noggle here) in the span of seven weeks to get some accessories, just not $60. But, it's for the accessories, so I'm still staying FTP as I mentioned earlier... Just giving myself a little treat during the holiday season.
