  1. the Normal circuit offers an Augment for whichever warframe you choose, so there is another way, but it's still far from ideal since you have to wait for your desired frame to appear, then hope you get the right augment to pop up. recently I wanted Prolonged Paralysis for Valkyr but it came up with Eternal War instead. at the very least, the warframe path you choose for standard Circuit should offer ALL a frame's available augments, after all, the intention behind Circuit is to try and get players using different frames and experimenting with different builds, no?
  2. personally I'd be OK with it being replaced entirely, maybe with a skill that buffs melee damage, and causes kills to remove restraint. at the end of the day, that's the optimal way to play Baruuk: spam Lull near groups of enemies and keep Desolate Hands up at all times to remove Restraint as quickly as possible, then use his 4 and keep using Lull and Desolate Hands between combos to stay in his 4 for as logn as possible. with a decent build you can go multiple rounds in the Steel Path Circuit without leaving his 4 even once.
  3. thanks as always @(XBOX)EternalDrk Mako, hope your next scan yields good results! everyone is backing you! - Wisp Prime.. she looks pretty good, but... they kinda covered up the booty, and this is truly unforgivable. Fulmin and Gunsen.. Fulmin Prime should be pretty great, the regular is still very strong, not really a Warfans guy but Gunsen Prime was gonna happen eventually I guess. Drifter Prime suit looks decent, but there are so many good options for him now! - Kullervo, I'm looking forward to him, and it's interesting that we'll have to fight him: I don't think we've actually fought a warframe since Mutalist Mesa or Chroma, but unless you go in with a bunch of Decrees, I don't rate drifter's chances: ordinary human vs warframe is a wash, unless Kullervo isn't running at full power maybe? guess we'll see. - Tennogen looks alright, Gauss skin and Acceltra skin doesn't interest me that much though, - also nice that we can preview gear before goign into Duviri. no more excuses for host migrations now.
  4. because pure cringe takes a lot more work than Data to shove onto the game's servers... it'll probably be in the next update.
  5. inb4 it's a spiral where every enemy is stalker and the Despair secondary is a guaranteed drop: the Orowyrm is just a giant set of throwing knives (that'd be a hell of a boss design lol. ). oh, and Stalker is also the NPC for that Spiral.
  6. well, there's one real good way to shut them up forever, and it works on more than just liches:
  7. Infested liches will happen, but not soon. I know, I want them too, espeically if these ideas/desires of mine are incorporated: actual Lich evolution: Infested Liches or "Monstrosities", as I'll call them for now, it's a placeholder name) start out as being just a more powerful version of a Runner/Charger (like Phorid still is, rework when?), but with each stab, they grow larger, faster and gain new abilities, until eventually they are a unique unit made from a large amount of procedurally generated parts.. Liches and Sisters are already capable of looking unique, but the Infested Monstrosities should take this to the next level. weapon evolution: to build on the Incarnon Genesis system, and prevent players from burning out on having to grind new infested weapon variants, each Infested Monstrosity will drop a new resource, which can be used to upgrade any existing infested weapon via helminth. so you could take your Embolist, Bubonico, etc that you already have several forma in, and "evolve" them into a new Infested variant with better stats. in the case of Dual Toxocyst and Torid, this could also affect the Incarnon modes. Infested Railjack: since Liches have to be killed in Railjack, it only makes sense to add Mercury, Deimos and Eris Proximas, with Deimos being the go to for Infested Monstrosities. would also be great to have some new infested cosmetics and weapons for the Railjack as well. I'm also looking forward to seeing what ephemeras they'll bring: Nano-swarms, tentacles, maybe one where it makes the frame look corroded and you can see inside part of it? the options are almost limitless!
  8. DE haven't made getting the staker weapons any easier for years, why would they start now? if anything they're less likely to do it now because now some people might actually buy the Stalker Bundle. unless this happens: ouch. well, the only other method is to run as many assassinations as possible and/or buy as many Stalker Beacons from Baro as you possibly can, and maybe trade prime junk for ducats so you can buy more when possible. running with a beacon group via recruit chat might help as then you can get a few freebies where you get a spawn without using your beacons. you aren't alone though: I know a guy who played since console release who still doesn't have the Hate, despite actively farming for it several times.
  9. accurately measuring a warframe's height can be tricky, due to a number of factors: - skins like Protokol Tekna affect the size of the weapon they are holding, in this case it's undersized. this makes using weapons as a measuring scale unreliable. - some warframes like Nidus have "high heels", so technically that's artificial height, even though it's a part of the frame. - then you've also got floating warframes like Wisp and Titania Prime. - horns like Oberon Prime's and other helmet ornamentation also add height. typically one can be sure that the vast majority of warframes are taller than the average human: the Orokin designed them to be imposing killing machines after all, but many Orokin would likely have stood taller than warframes as a point of pride.
  10. they do have a weakness, it's called "armor stripping then hitting them until they die. chances are either 1 out of your 5 frames or one out of your 8 weapon choices will be somethign decent, and then you've also got decrees. if an armor stripping item comes up, take it and go to town on those Thrax.
  11. that's the neat part; you don't. you'll likely just have to wait until the next nightwave season in like a year, and they might bring it back. honestly, I don't know why DE won't just do the logical thing and put ALL previous season rewards in the Nightwave shop so people can buy them for Nora Creds, it'd literally solve this problem instantly..
  12. if you can't see how dispositions are going to go up and down, especially on current meta weapons, after all this time that Rivens have been in the game, then you have a worrying lack of foresight and pattern prediction. anyone who still chooses to buy/sell rivens at exorbitant prices has it coming, I've zero sympathy for them. if anything I like dispo changes for the hefty supply of salt they bring.
  13. only 7 crimes? don't worry Kullervo, once I'm controlling you, we're going on a murder spree. anyway, on a more serious topic, I'm hoping DE will finally address the problem of crossplay issues as well as mention how long they feel older systems like PS4 will be viable for.
  14. bug fixes and reworking older content, especially older warframes. I don't think DE realize how much the faithful players would appreciate that. DE need to focus on expanding on systems already in the game rather than developing new ones, and I'm hoping that will be the case for a while now that Duviri is out.
  15. they bring back that garbage every summer but won't rerun Plague Star or Scarlet Spear... you know, events that are actually FUN and REWARDING.. smh.
  16. I noticed Ack & Brunt being held the wrong way (shield wrong way around) yesterday but that's probably been fixed. sadly bulkiness on certain frames can be an issue too.
  17. probably not, I mean, what can Drifter Melee do that Warframe melee can't? Warframes have better combos, more damage, use mods instead of Decrees, can actually scale and have a far more varied arsenal to choose from, including Drifter's weapons. Drifter melee would be good on regular non-steel path nodes up to about Jupiter and then become ineffective lol.
  18. you probably shouldn't look at the relic pages, you'll have a fit: THAT is cluttered.
  19. after 3 years? A LOT. a lot more in fact than your questions cover, but you can find out those things for yourself. it is, personally I don't need to do it anymore and couldn't tell you what the Meta is, but nowadays some squads just use Necramechs (large stompy mech suits that trade mobility for firepower, you can get them on Deimos) to run them. a lot more weapons and especially arcanes have appeared and the meta has changed over several times since your departure. they still exist, they still pollute trade chat like sewage in a lake and they are still muti-layered RNG, bu with a couple concessions now: - firstly, you can get "Riven Slivers" which add up to a complete Riven. 10 Slivers = one Riven, and they drop from higher level Eximus units. they aren't that rare, but you can then take them to Palladino once a week to forge them into a random Riven - second, we have Riven Ciphers now, which menas you don't have to run the stupid unveiling challenges anymore if you don't want to: you can buy one per week from Teshin in exchange for Steel Essence, which is obtained on the Steel Path (a harder version of the starmap with level 100+ enemies and modifiers, it's pretty much become the testing grounds for what is "meta" or "Viable" these days. if you haven't attempted Steel Path yet, and want to try, I recommend revisiting your builds and getting the Galvanized Mods from Arbitrations (those have been around 3+ years now, right?), it'll make your guns a LOT stronger. yes, but usually people only go there for two reasons: either to level something up quickly, or because Nightwave demands it. we are going to be getting a new season at some point so you might see more people there. for now.. but even without it, melee is still absolutely viable. if you mean Archwing Missions, IMO, yes. if you mean Railjack missions, they aren't anywhere near as buggy, but the Corpus ones they added don't really feature any proper space combat and DE has more or less neglected the mode since then. it's kinda sad because it has a lot of potential, but DE don't want to realize it at the moment. on the plus, we have AI crewmates now that you can buy from Ticker once you rank up your Command Intrinsic, so playign Railjack Solo is no longer the drama that it used to be. (in fact, it's arguably the most optimal way to play Railjack now)! most people prefer to level things quickly VIA ESO now, so Hydron's something of a ghost town. to me anyway, Io was the place to help people get Bursa kills for the Sands of Inaros quest. yes, he commonly gets one-shotted in pub games now because we have amassed a LOT more power over the last three years. you can also (eventually) play as OG Stalker in the new Circuit mode, but most people agree that his kit is sub-par at best. you also need to max out an intrinsic to get him to appear, and your gear is randomized in Circuit (roguelike-style) so you may not get him. you *might* remember the Acolytes from Shadow Debt? they appear in Steel Path missions and, while arguably harder than Stalker, are still easily killed with certain loadouts. the only bosses that last for any real length of time are the Archons (introduced in New War) due to them having damage attenuation mechancis, but even they can still be one-shot with the right setup. we are stronk. F-O-R-G-E-T I-T still as Dead as ever, Teshin has a new place in the New War Quest, and in Duviri. he's also the vendor for Steel Path, so he's got plenty of presence, but none of it has anythign to do with Conclave. reb said ALL frames will get primed, Nidus has been primed, so has Revenant, and there's no reason to think Xaku won't be primed either; whether or not it makes sense to us doesn't matter, DE wants money and we want golden frames, so this arrangement suits both of us lol. current PA is Hildryn Prime next up is almost certainly Wisp Prime, who will likely appear before or during Tennocon. -Nidus has a Prime, and a few minor tweaks: you don't need to worry about people stealing your stacks anymore, if enemies are killed in Larva, you get stacks. - Mag has been buffed several times, and is insanely OP if you know how to use her: she's an amazing defense stripper and now you can even catch enemy bullets and send them back in a magnetic pulse. why people think she's mediocre is beyond me, but I say let em keep saying it, because it just makes her even more powerful lol. Coutner-Pulse augment build in particular is downright stupidly effective and I love it. - Octavia is still basically the same as ever: kind of annoying, braindead easy to play.. I don't really like her, but she's still a safe pick for high-level content. - Mesa is still top tier at clearing rooms. - Volt is still about the same: some builds like Discharge spam are greta for CC, but we got another electric frame called Gyre who is an insanely good glass cannon. if Volt had even half the DPS of a good Gyre build, I'd be satisfied, definitely recommend Gyre if Volt no longer "sparks" joy for you! - Limbo is still the same; some people hate him, most don't understand him, all want to see his kit reworked. he's still a good frame in the hands of someone who knows how to use him though. only downside is that Overguard (a special shield worn by Eximus and some other enemy units) means tougher units are no longer susceptible to his powers, unless you strip Overguard first, watch your back! - Equinox is still the same, a pretty strong frame with a good kit, not much else to say really. quite a few new frames have been added also, a basic rundown of each: - Garuda: the "blood frame" you mentioned. used to be OK, but got reworked and now she's a LOT better, with I-frames on casting (you need them, she's a slow caster) and a kit that allows for a lot of status dealing. in the new Circuit mode, she's become one of the most fun and effective picks since the Decree boosts you get can make Status damage go nuts, and Garuda ends up wipign out the map quite easily, it's pretty great. - Baruuk: reluctant warrior themed frame, available in Fortuna. offers one of the best exalted melees in game right now, and decent disarm/CC was recently primed. - Hildryn: Shieldmaiden frame, available in Fortuna, has a mediocre wrost cannon exalted, but excels at tanking and turning the entire team into tanks. our current prime. - Wisp: floaty support frame, arguably the best Support in game right now and a meta pick. parts drop form Ropalolyst (horrible boss), so might be worth waiting for her Prime instead. - Gauss: speedster frame, run really fast and use his awesome 3 to lock down points, lots of fun, can't remember where he drops though. - Grendel: fat frame that eats people and can become a meatball (not joking). was originally hot garbage for a while but made a serious comeback with his rework, now he's a great support/tank pick. sadly his acquisition misisons suck because you have to run them without mods! if you're up for it, they're in the Arbitration shop. -Protea: commonly thought of as "female Vauban": excellent defensive pick with energy and health restoring abilities, area lock down, and a short duration but powerful "turret" (pablo doesn't like it being called that, but that's what it is), you'll need to run Granum Void for her parts - Xaku: frame made out of pieces of other frames, available on Deimos. was not great on release, but has been reworked and is now a decent choice: most people (and me) just use his 2 and 4 to create floating guns that automatically eliminate everything in the room, but there's more to him than that. - Lavos: Alchemist frame available on Deimos: can literally infue his abilities with ANy element and doesn't require neergy but runs on cooldowns instead. top pick as a railjack pilot, but otherwise he doens't get much love. he's not bad, just kinda clunky for most people. - Sevagoth: dark wraith-themed frame available via Railjack. sort of a "mark-then-kill" frame, but also has a second form for melee attacks. unfortunately he's D tier for fashionframe because years later there are still NO skins for him! - Yareli..: kawaii girl frame with water abilities and an exalted K-Drive. my least favourite, but I won't judge. I just hope your cringe tolerance is high, because she necessitates interacting with Ventkids. - Caliban: sentient-themed frame (yes, really), added in New War, considered to have a meh kit but his 4 has good armor stripping at least, boi just needs a rework. - Gyre: electric Ballerina-frame: rocky at launch, but with her new augment she is an insane glass cannon, just like Banshee; you're squishy AF but everything around you gets constantly stunned and dies. a great pick if you don't mind having low armor, I only wish Volt were this strong. available on the Zariman. Styanax: Spartan/ancient warrior themed. very simple but effective kit, throw spears, strip defense, throw lots of spears. sadly he got nerfed once and he's now behind the Kahl missions in terms of acquisition; when he was first released DE actually gave him out for FREE for a limited time, and knowing what was coming, we took it lol. Voruna; "werewolf" themed frame, but not really, more like dog version of Khora but focused more on melee than CC. kind of fun but her kit doesn't synergize all that well. available by doing Conjunction Survival on Lua. Citrine: crystal-themed frame, and very strong, able to dish out multiple elements at once, has damage reduction and a 4 that CCs enemeis and boosts crit, she can basically do it all. she also came with a heavy Scythe that has a freaking GUN as a heavy attack. her parts are obtained on Deimos and bought using crystals form Mirror Defense on Mars. TLDR/ "christ, I'm not reading all that!" a lot of stuff has changed, but a lot of stuff has stayed the same, and there's a LOT of new frames for you to try: hope you have fun!
  20. - orange/red crits. - having status effects across the room, typically with Saryn or Garuda. - riding the Orowyrm - emptying the magazine of a Supra Vandal - getting showered with thankyous after giving a relay the affinity blessing. - when you cast Iron Skin at just the right time with a power strength corruption buff and get six-digit protection. - unlimited ammo corruption on Acceltra, mini-rocket dakka is best dakka. - Parazon finisher on a Nullifier guardian/Arctic Eximus: you think you're safe behind all that protection? think again! - one-shotting Thrax units. ones shotting anything is great, but killing these guys without prior armor/overguard stripping is awesome. - fighting Sentients: I love ripping and tearing sentients, and still feel robbed after New War turned out to be barely a skirmish. just let us invade Tau already, my umbra builds need to be put to the test.
  21. to the mods; if this post is in the wrong area, feel free to move it, I don't usually post bug reports and thought this was the relevant area for the topic at hand.) while playing around with Ack & Brunt's Incarnon Genesis, I noticed that the warframe is holding the shield by the wrong side: the side that should be outside -and protecting you from attacks - is being held while the inside is outside. I'm usually pretty tolerant of these kind of bugs but this one is really off putting, especially since, when in it's Incarnon Form, Ack & Brunt's shield gets a sort of "crest" on top of it made out of the void-metal. it would look pretty great, but I can't see it properly because the shield is facing the wrong way. I've also heard rumors that the new Sword & Shield skin is doing the same thing. if anyone else has had this happen to their beloved Sword & Board, say so, we should work together to fix this ASAP.
  22. Relics. for the love of the blue swirling Void, RELICS! we get these damn things everywhere and for the most part 99% of them are useless, except when they're new; once you've got the new primes though, you don't need them again. trading them? I barely ever see anyone sell relics. we end up with MASSIVE stockpiles that cannot be removed quickly enough and it ends up making the task of finding a specific relic particularly annoying (thank god for the search bar). I just want to be able to convert them into anything: Endo is fine, Kuva, Void Traces or Ducats would be even better. another alternative could be "Relic fusing" where putting together multiple of the same relic automatically refines it by a set amount, so for example: 3x Lith S1 Relic = 1x Exceptional Lith S1 relic 6x Lith S1 Relic or 2x Exceptional Lith S1 Relic = 1 Flawless Lith S1 Relic 10x Lith S1 Relic or 5x Exceptional Lith S1 relic or 3x Flawless Lith S1 Relic = 1x Radiant Lith S1 Relic. this way we could really clean up our surplus and only have to worry about new Relics or those of particular importance for other reasons, such as Relics you plan on giving to a friend etc.
  23. some of them might have been carefully removed and then brought aboard the ship. then if Rubedo is needed, perhaps to repair something, a grunt breaks it open. the ships are vast mechanical complexes that will need maintaining constantly, so it pays to have spare parts and resources aboard. yeah, given how contagious the Technocyte is, they really should seal up all their infested resources behind some BIG vault doors, with a monitoring system, and if an outbreak happens, everyone abandon ship, otherwise you end up with the other half of Mercury's fleet infested, or an Eris 2.0. maybe they are kept in some kind of vacuum/anti-gravity container and opening it causes a disturbance in the force (lol), but then it stops and gravity brings down the stuff that floats.
  24. meh, I'm not fussed, even if it was TOTAL garbage, I'm planning on going through all the weapons anyway, so at the very least, I'm getting a "bad" Incarnon out of the way. plus these weapons have only just been released: sometime after next week, all Incarnon Genesis adapters will be in the game, and DE will likely collect data on the usage stats of each one, which can be the prelude to a buff/nerf for each Incarnon mode that DE sees fit to change. the Incarnon modes we have now may not be the same ones we have in the next update, when they will likely be changed.
