  1. I’m fine with it so long as DE designs and reworks frames so that they have scaling and can stay relevant in the Steel Path.
  2. Molt. I love Molt, but Pillage is Pillage. I mainly use this for archon hunt defense, but it’s been decent in the new tileset.
  3. I went with Revenant at first because the permadeath turned me off and I heard these were better solo. After a run or two with him, I felt more comfortable and switched to Saryn with Pillage. She’s never in much danger, and kills a lot faster. Her spores killing things outside the circle doesn’t really matter much when you’re solo.
  4. I've read that this is at least partially due to increased casting speed mods/shards/effects on Garuda. I'm not about to take my amber shards out of Garuda to test that though.
  5. Stasis is antithetical to efficient farming though. It locks enemies in place, preventing them from reaching you. There's a reason a Speedva (low strength Nova) is so popular in farming groups. She helps the enemies reach the team faster.
  6. I don't think decoupling upper and lower body for melee animations is a realistic request. That said, I do think that any stance that excessively stunts your forward movement while holding W + E should be examined. As it stands, I write off entire weapon categories on this criterion alone.
  7. That is how most people build her, but that takes a lot of investment in terms of forma, mod spaces, and even shards at times. The mod slots that Nova spends on duration are not spent on other things then. You're essentially saying other frames should get >300% duration Null Star just by slapping a Helminth ability on them, regardless of the duration in their own build. It's absurd.
  8. Play how you want, but this build looks absolutely bizarre to me. You don't need to max range to make her 2 worth using. Indeed, having it slightly smaller means you end up casting it more frequently, thereby regularly refreshing your shields. It's cool that you've found a way to turn her into a tank. I prefer to build her towards her strengths though: spammy debuffs and nuking, with shield gating and a safety net to keep her afloat.
  9. You have a point. All these issues of enemies dropping new special loot only to have it wind up in the floor for clients would likely be solved if drops like that were just automatically given to the players.
  10. I had heard that as well, but I wasn't aware that they had specifically mentioned it would be in the next (Echoes) update. To clarify, I do hope you're right. I'm just not quite as optimistic that they'll immediately do this. With their current plan of Whispers being the starting point for the next big chapter or whatever, it makes sense that they're planning to keep adding to the Sanctum Anatomica and its related characters/vendors over a longer period of time than just "update" + "echoes" as they had been doing before. Do you think the lack of Mirror Defense arcanes is an oversight?
  11. I'm not so sure that this will happen. There still isn't even an arcane pack for Mirror Defense arcanes. I don't think DE wants to let us completely bypass new and new-ish content.
  12. I hate this part of her kit. You're completely at the mercy of an unfriendly elevator, a friendship door, an unseen nully behind a door, etc. It feels terrible, and it doesn't need to be there.
  13. I feel the same. I looked over the benefits and decided to wait to even purchase the segment. I'll probably sink two of the corrosive shards in my Saryn Prime at some point, but I'm in no hurry. I like having something to Pillage with her, after all. In a way, I'm kind of relieved that these shards are so niche. It's like when DE introduces another massive batch of arcanes locked behind a hideous grind, and then I realize I don't even want any of them because they can't compete with the OG arcanes. I may gather a few, but in general they seem safely skippable.
  14. Gotta be the base dolphin-with-cankles skin for Nova. Day Equinox deluxe (with the unquestionably phallic helmet) is in second place.
  15. I still run into the occasional Limbo that puts a relatively small cataclysm on the defense objective, thinking they’re helping. If I want to clear the point with an AOE weapon, I now have to move into that small cataclysm. And even if I do, the cataclysm will shrink and might decide to spit an enemy out right when my bramma arrow explodes, leaving them unharmed and ready to rush back in and get frozen again. It’s an obnoxious ability to deal with, and no amount of game knowledge ameliorates that… except perhaps politely asking the Limbo to stop or just leaving the game when they don’t.
  16. You can’t roll out of the rift in a cataclysm. And pretty much anyone with any degree of experience in this game knows how you can roll out of the rift in other situations. That doesn’t make it okay that Limbo can have this effect on other players. Even having to roll out of the rift once or twice during a mission is an inconvenience. In a game as grindy as Warframe, minor inconveniences build up over time. I have an embarrassing amount of hours in this game, which means that I have long ago lost all patience for Limbo in most mission types. Remove the rift. Replace it with something new that doesn’t give players the ability to disrupt and grief each other.
  17. If I’m already on a team, then I can just play Limbo and maintain my 2 and perfectly sized 4. I’ve got casting speed shards on Limbo now, so there’s virtually no downtime. With enough enemy radar on the build, I can also see exactly where every enemy is and whether I can refresh my bubble or not. This is, I believe, the one area in the game where Limbo is still meta. In other places, his CC has been devalued or hamstrung by eximi. There are plenty of ways to complete this challenge. But I still think it sucks, and should have been toned down or removed.
  18. I’m still too traumatized from a friendly Vauban ruining this challenge for me a few seasons ago by his Vortex pulling an enemy with a single point into the goal. I don’t trust tethers to move enemies predictably. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I would much rather have a Limbo on the team. I think it would be much more in line with the new NW philosophy to reduce the requirement to one round with no enemies scoring. But I would still prefer that DE remove it. We’ve all got our least favorites. This one is definitely mine.
  19. I posted about it in mission feedback. I was really hoping this tedious challenge was gone, but alas, it's back.
  20. Sorry, I mean no offense. Let me point some out with bolding: I don't know if that will be helpful. But just look at all of those conditionals. It's a metaphor for Limbo's overly complicated kit. The juice isn't worth the squeeze with Limbo. You pointed this out yourself when you noted that: And I completely agree. By referring to the conditionals, I was trying to highlight a similarity with what Limbo has to do to pull off anything remotely useful. Meanwhile, you can just play Revenant with Zenurik and do everything Limbo does with much less hassle and without disrupting your team. If that wasn't clear, my apologies.
  21. At the risk of sounding insensitive, I don't actually think Limbo "mains'" opinions really matter here. It's the players who are affected by a Limbo on a squad that should have their opinions taken into account. He's a disruptive frame that negatively affects the rest of his team. He needs changes. And in any event, Limbo's usage is not exactly high. He might have a few self-proclaimed "mains," out there, but they're far from a significant portion of the player base.
  22. I do agree that other frames can achieve immortality with far fewer complications than Limbo. But look at the rest of your post. All those conditionals. All the ifs and thens. Limbo’s kit is too convoluted to lead to coherent, balanced, and enjoyable gameplay. The rift as we know it needs to go. Keep it in name, but replace it with debuffs, utility, mobility, and even nukes. It needs to be streamlined and less prone to griefing.
  23. Yeah. The "rift" is a sad attempt at creating an alternate dimension within the confines of the game. It's ineffective, clunky, and does more harm than good. Limbo needs a full-blown rework. The "rift" can exist in lore and have new gameplay effects associated with it. But the "rift" that we know now needs a complete gameplay overhaul. To get back to the OP, yeah, a buff would be nice. But I worry that buffing Limbo without massive changes to his kit will lead to an increase in the amount of Limbos I run into in random missions. So I have to disagree for now. He needs a floor-to-ceiling rework, not a buff.
  24. For me, the biggest problem with Kahl is how he disrespects years of investment. Your arsenal plays absolutely no role in Kahl’s weekly chores. The Circuit is the opposite. If you invest in your arsenal to a major degree (a degree that you seem to feel is unrealistic), you can insulate yourself from terrible RNG and almost always have something worth using. In that regard, it’s end game content. Players who are unprepared are at a massive disadvantage.
  25. Thanks, but I'm already well aware of how useful Limbo is here. It's literally the only area in the game where he's still the right choice. His last shred of relevance, if you will. I'm offering feedback on what I feel is a discordant challenge that is no longer in line with the spirit of Nightwave. I don't mean this next part to sound snippy, but if I were seeking advice, I would have used a different forum. It seems like we're in agreement over how tedious this "challenge" is. That's why I want it changed.
