  1. Making night wave a completely challenge less experience is the actual problem. It is not a necessity to do but it does provide a cool challenge to players looking for some extra fun from something they normally won't do much. On top of that, we're talking about a mission that awards very high credits so it's actually a really good double outcome challenge. I see no reason to remove this one.
  2. The one where Nora talks about a failed Corpus water treatment system is hilarious....and nasty as hell. Stay tuned to hear it!!
  3. I'm thinking the same. I haven't had the chance to use it yet but I am hyped to see how this would work on struggling crit weapons like the Mire, or weapons on the cusp of a strong hybrid setup like the twin krokurs.
  4. Warframe's pore is told by every aspect of the game. Every frame that has a story, every scanned enemy, fragment scan, kuria(SP?), faction ranking, even some weapons, all tell very important 0arts of the story. StallorD's YouTube channel does a very good job of explaining the story and there's a recent thread about players hyped over the linguistic architecture of faction languages. Their deciphering could reveal even more. As for my current theory, I'm now thinking there are more than one "Wally's" in the mix. So far, Tagfor talks about a "lonely" entity, our Wally is helpful (in a very twisted way), the Lotus' Wally appearance came with the wall and her helmet, Dr. Entrati has a Wally next to him, but Entrati is speaking freely and uses void tongue and is using his own voice that isn't sync'd with Wally like what happens with us. Maybe, maybe not.
  5. Nah, I just don't have pessimistic viewpoints on everything the game offers. There's nothing in this game that needs that unnecessary drama. Moreso, OP said this even is grindy, which is very far from the truth.
  6. No, that's not even close to it. Excuses like this is exactly why people feel so empowered to be jerks in the game. For context, we're talking about a game that offers missions that take less than 10 minutes to do, with some taking less than 5. There is never a need for the amount of rushing some of these players are doing.
  7. I agree from to a certain extent, but I think the toxicity would spiral out of control. I also think the overanalyzing players out there would constantly try to find a way to draw attention to the most micro of observations. I fear too much of that would cause dev headaches.
  8. What charts...and do NOT use Steam as your metric when there are 7-8 platforms to play this game. More importantly, of course there will be a rush of players at every update. However, greed and gluttony are insatiable.
  9. What console or platform are you playing on? I'm on PS5 and, so far, I've experienced 2 or 3 temporary game freezes in pub play but none yet in solo. It's usually when things get absolutely nuts with the furniture breaking + enemies+ all of my firepower. No full crashes though. Do you remember the condition that created the freeze, or a pattern at least?
  10. This is not a good question to ask when you have conditions to your gameplay. It is definitely not a question to ask the forums. You're asking an internal response question that only you can answer. Throwing it at DE as if it's their problem is a bad move. Therefore, my question to you is: are you willing to create new conditions in order to enjoy a completely different side of the game you may have missed out on?
  11. Yep, I was completely surprised by it too! 😂 DE did a masterful job with its implementation of the system but, good Lord is it extremely potent!! At this point, I don't think anyone can reasonably complain about any of the arsenal components.
  12. Great point. Giving single target weapons a more consistent and faster heavy attack opens up a lot of possibilities with serious, even reducing the need for typical meta builds due to just how much raw damage produced. You may no longer have to rely on a corrosive build just to power through heavy gunners, for example, and could now try utilizing less used elements that have very powerful synergy mods. As for which of my weapons work great with Tennokai, I would say the Incarnon Sancti Magistar has now become absolutely beyond busted. Wide strikes, healing pulses and a powerful heavy attack that comes out very fast makes for an unbeatable combination!! The support mods and arcanes only make it even more extraordinary.
  13. I cannot agree with you on this one. NW is already passively rewarding, it rewards exploration into the game, it rewards hardcore play and chill 0lay, all at the same time. It covers all of the basis and I even hit rank 30 last season without even realizing it. To me, it's the best battle pass system in gaming. Every credit and nearly every reward you earn can be put to good use and having Kuva, catalyst and nitains always available to purchase just means there's always an incentive for new and old players alike. I see no reason to change any of that.
  14. Wait....huh!? That's not what I'm experiencing at all!! If anything, it's changing the way I look at my entire loadout, focusing on either maintaining efficiency, extending range or boosting AOE based stat procs. I wasn't much of a heavy attack user but now there's a really nice balance in both pure and hybrid options, so I'm now creating more loadouts to reflect this. Tennokai is good stuff!
  15. They do have healing stations actually. Some of the breakable containers are labeled "restorative" and provide a big chunk of health. I found out about that yesterday. Lol! I'm with ya about getting some loot from the breakables. With all of the chaos and destruction happening during the fights, having a rare item pop up from it would be awesome.
  16. You gave a review without trying everything. You are also missing the mark on the Tome, the storytelling (which was actually TYPICAL of DE EXCEPT for New War), and, I'm sorry dude but I get the impression you just rushed through everything and haven't actually played the experience.
  17. Not happening...for the same reasons we went over.
  18. It's all content though. Experiencing the result of your personal choices does not mean DE won't allow you to go back and play the other options. It's the effect of your first experience that is the most impactful but having full visibility of the remaining choices means we can get the full scope of whatever the main lore is.
  19. Holding off a spoiler, it's the end of the Whispers quest that has me extremely convinced of this. What someone is holding and who's all there is mighty telling to me.
  20. Ahhh, the infamous white board I miss sooo freakin MUCH!! Man, can you imagine if we still had that since of "being on the board", where a company literally presents their 10 year outlook to us!? WE HAD THAT! We could be seeing Tau and beyond! It does sound great...but I must admit losing the whiteboard leaves is in more suspense of direction. This is equally good and, remembering the harsh attacks DE had to deal with for sticking to their core principle of sharing with the community, I'd rather be more blinded to the outlook. Still, can you imagine seeing this year's version of the board, where 2028 content was drawn on it?
  21. All of that sounds just like something eluding to the whole 1999 stuff. Time travel, the interference involved and, perhaps, accessing the other scenarios of us that we saw fall during Wally's handshake. Wally has sight of these eternalism instances and we very well could be in for some fun with those. Ironically, I'm now starting to think all of our Sun/Moon/Middle choices will have us on different paths in an upcoming update. You very well may be the Tenno engaging the Lotus, while my Tenno gets caught in the void storm after the Lich fight. That would be hella cool if that were the case!
  22. Actually, if you look at all of the latest mainline trailers, they do not match the timeline and activities of the actual game release. My theory is this is intentional and has to do with future releases. Even New War had a Tenno literally face to face with the Lotus and a giant horde of sentients. That is not what we played
  23. I think it is a great way to add some elusive ways to engage in the game long term. Making them easier to get would only have players asking for new stuff faster. We players are greedy, so DE has to find ways to space out the gigantic list of rewards this update offers.
