  1. I'm looking for new guns for my Gauss because his signature ones don't fit my playstyle. Here's some requisites the weapons have to fulfill: - No priming distance. - Must have no or minimal recoil. - Must be full auto or held trigger type. - Must have either low fire rate or big clip size so it's doesn't get empty in a split second thanks to Redline. - Must not suffer ammo shortage. To elaborate why his signature guns don't fit, which will also explain my conditions stated above: Due to Gauss' speed I often find myself too close to enemies to use Acceltra since it's rockets have a priming distance. His weapons also run out of ammo constantly due to low reserves. They also have massive recoil, which forces me to use -Recoil Exilus (turning off screen shake in Settings doesn't affect this) and I'd rather keep the Exilus free for a 'Reload while holstered' mods, so I don't have to reload and just keep swapping weapons whenever the clip is empty.
  2. This depends on weapon by weapon case. In my experience, most beam weapons tend to have fire rate around 12 and most full auto hitscan weapons around 9. Naturally, the higher the base value the bigger the benefit from mods. Beam weapons need to ramp up the damage, similarly to weapons like Soma or Gorgon, where it takes about a second for them to reach their full damage you see on the missing screen. Beam weapons are usually hybrid, so they have both CC and SC but more often than not weight towards SC. Full auto hitscan weapons usually have more SC then CC, but they also usually have higher base damage when compared to beam weapons. Lastly, beam weapons usually have some sort of gimmick, like spreading, AoE, chaining, etc, so they often hit multiple enemies.
  3. Just fyi not all ingame glyphs work here. I've been using a glyph with Volt Arrester Helmet for months and it never showed here. The second I switched to my current Lotus glyph, it appeared here immediately. I switched to the new Kullervo glyph and it's not visible here either. It's just that some work and some don't.
  4. 1. Volt 2. Nyx 3. Revenant 4. Styanax (I'd use him more if it wasn't for his weird nipples and lack of skins, love his kit tho) I have the most of the rest but use them rarely or only for something they excel at (e.g.: Frost for Excavation, Nova for Defence, Wukong for Spy, etc.). Then there are those not even worth having, like Caliban.
  5. You're not wrong but that can be said about nearly everything DE does. The only thing they excel at is sound.
  6. That's the right artist alright! A lot of the work posted there is similar to Protea's Deluxe skin. I could see this as Styanax's Deluxe with some changes and tweaks. It would be instant buy for me, unlike the currently proposed one.
  7. Also Nyx Pasithea - Stjepan Sejic Anyway, whoever made the Protea Deluxe should make more. It's absolutely amazing and has great channels and materials.
  8. Why stop at Simulacrum? I'd suddenly and without warning allow Grendel to eat other players in any mission. Once eaten, you have to complete a round of Flappy Zephyr to escape. You'd get immunity to being eaten after that for the whole day.
  9. Totally agree with OP here. If I wanted regular melee Arcances, I would run Bounties, ideally the ones that have killing the Whisper as a objective so I don't have to look for it. You can get a lot of Arcanes faster and easier this way. I'm running Netracel for Archon Shards. I need a LOT of Azure ones to increase the otherwise low base Warframe energy on a lot of frames without wasting a mod slot for Flow. Some frames could really use the casting speed buff so that's at least a few Topaz Shards. Every other Netracel reward is junk not worth my time. I also see no reason to add a new enemy that would drop the Legendary Arcanes. We already have Whispers who we never fight over the first HP bar. I would unlock the rest of the fight in Netracel as a optional bossfight that will have a guaranteed drop of one of the Legendary Arcanes. That said, looking for it shouldn't affect enemy spawn rates for the red circle area. I'd further remove the regular melee Arcances from Netracel rewards completely. Leave it as a source of Archon Shards, Entrati Lanthorn, with a chance to get Legendary Arcane.
  10. I'm with you here. Nyx Pasithea has the temptress allure to her while not parading it in the open. She indeed uses the design aesthetics from Sunstone and especially Fine Print, which fit Nyx's theme a lot. I love Shiniez's / Stjepan Sejic's art style and when DE announced he will be making a Deluxe skin for Nyx I nearly creamed my pants. I honestly wish DE would cooperate with him on more skins. These are some of my favourite works of his and they are totally SFW.
  11. While I'd like getting Pathos Clamps as a Circuit reward, I'd also like to get Pathos Clams for defeating Vor and Jackal instead of Rune Marrow.
  12. This is the case with many Arcanes, some lose the bonuses one by one and some lose them all at the same time. Since Merciless is harder to trigger it decays slower, and vice versa for Frostbite. Also, Frostbite can be triggered by your companion, so you don't have to mod for Cold at all, making it even easier to activate.

Not to throw a wrench there and I haven't touched Necramechs in a while but I got several people in clan and alliance hitting this wall too because they apparently need some rare Deimos fish to build the Necramech, and the fish bait requires high rank with the Entrati syndicate. Again, if this is true, then it's a rather annoying walk because ranking up a syndicate can take weeks.
  15. I like this idea! It reminds of some old RPGs where you could find some terrible weapon, like a rusted or broken sword, and through some rather lengthy quest you would restore it to its former glory and more, eventually ending up with something really powerful.
  16. Nyx is my second most used Warframe and I have to admit that she just can't keep up anymore and has been powercrept by other frames. I wouldn't want her to get a full rework because I like her kit as it is but it's functions need to be improved. Mind Control is great in concept but horrible in actual use. Even if I boost the controlled enemy's damage by 5000% (possible with Incarnon weapons) the enemy still suffers from poor accuracy and their original AI behaviour. (Fix) Mind Controlled enemies should behave like Celestial Twin, as in, don't take cover and be very aggressive. It should also prioritize enemies affected by Psychic Bolts and enemies who damage Nyx. (Augment) Holding the ability automatically casts it again on the currently affected enemy refreshing it's duration. Nyx's passive is increased by additional 20% if Mind Control is active. Psyhic Bolts are a ok ability but unreliable. Their tracking is poor and they often hit the same enemy even though there are other enemies available. It also works poorly with enemy modifiers, like the Steel Path one, which results in the ability not stripping all defences even though it should do so. (Fix) The targeting and strip reliability should be improved. (Augment) For the remained of the ability duration Psychic Bolts jump to another nearby enemy once the original target has died. Chaos is great as it is but it's augment sucks because it creates visual clutter on the screen if you recast it and you have to recast it keep the range. (Augment) Affected enemies spread Chaos' effect to other enemies they damage for the remainder of the duration. Absorb is the worst ability in her kit by default. It needs the augment to be useful. It basically forces you to waste a mod slot, replace the ability, or not use it at all. (Fix) Bake both of the Augments into the base ability. Retain the mobility and weapon use after activating it. Pressing the ability again will cause the AoE explosion release as usual. Holding the ability will make Nyx enter the meditative position, expand the Absorb bubble and forcefully attract enemies towards her in a expanding area but the energy cost will keep increasing with the area until it reaches absurd numbers. Once released or once the energy runs out, the maximum reached area will be covered by a AoE explosion dealing all the damage Nyx has stored during the whole time Absorb was active. (Augment) All Nyx's ability duration freezes once she enters the meditative state and all damage stored by the Mind Controlled enemy is added to Absorb's final damage.
  17. Since it only spreads elemental status effects and cannot spread Heat not Toxin afaik then it's extremely situational and you have to dedicate a complete build around it. That said, when you do so it is very powerful. I've modded Caustacyst, which has innate Corrosive, for Viral, Electric, and high Status. Paired with two Emerald Archon Shards and Melee Influence, this weapon can fully armour strip, stack Viral and Electric in 20 meters. As long as there are enough enemies around so the status effects don't expire, it will work as a portable nuke. It works very well on Volt with Nourish and Shock Trooper, who can adjust the elemental distribution as needed and increase the melee attack speed. To make it even better, Caustacyst also does some long range Corrosive wave on heavy attack, followed by a sludge on the ground, which all can further spread the statuses. It also has forced Slash on heavy attack and blinds nearby enemies. If anything is getting nerfed, it's this particular combo.
  18. I have no idea how I missed this but upon checking some of your samples I can confirm I can see the the same in my game as well and now I cannot unsee this.
  19. Hosts language. I sometimes have most of my HUD in French or German when I join someone even though my game and console are set to English.
  20. Great observations. I'm particularly disappointed in the story not being updated with DE claiming they're revamping the new player experience. When I started, some 11 years ago, I just cleared Star Chart because I enjoyed the gameplay and didn't give the story a second thought. But now that I think about it, I don't even know what was going on there. Clear nodes, defeat a boss you know nothing about, defeat another Warframe to get access to another planet (for whatever reason), none of it makes a lick of sense.
  21. My main complaint towards the new Styanax skin are the nipple piercings. I was hoping his deluxe won't have any weird nipples like his default skin does. When it comes to general deluxe skins designs, I prefer when they keep the Warframe's theme. For example the new skin for Chroma turns him from the western dragon into a eastern dragon. Mirage's skin takes a different take on the jester theme. There are skins which may or may not fit the theme but are generally beautiful enough to use and love, like Protea's or Nyx's. If it comes to all skins then most of the work from Hitsu San is often the best looking option. They're often more beautiful and more elaborate than the Deluxe skins, like the ones for Oberon, Nova, and Loki. I wish Hitsu San made more skins. I'd be looking forward to those more than to any deluxe.
  22. 4 for 1 is ridiculous with the current ways to get them. Maybe if they were a guaranteed Netracell drop.
