Annnoth Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 That garuda augment makes me VERY excited. After her first one was incredibly disappointing i was worried how her others would fare. Being able to turn a blood altar into a portable pill box with a .2 second reload on every weapon just sounds disgusting in the most fun way. "risk vs reward" yeah right reb on stream with an unmodded weapon gets 300shield dmg steve: haha maybe go further away *reb steps further away and still takes damage because it's aoe* steve: haha more than that do you think in a mainly *corridor* shooter game self damage is justified in any way? that thing modded will wipe the floor with you even with the dmg reduction mod self damage never should've been a thing. TamePingu Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 I wanna note as well that while Scott was talking about enemy rebalancing (armor doesn't/won't scale as harshly anymore) he and Pablo (praise!) were looking into corpus as well; as in, making shields relevant again, they will (probably) have no regen delay anymore and a look into damage types that bypass shields (and maybe get a rework?). MEANING: if this carries directly over into damage types, shield frames could overnight become unsquishy (as they don't just get their 2k+ shields ignored).
