I think you might be on to something here as I wasn't having the same problem with the Bonewidows,

Just ran a couple more vaults... A heavy attack Stropha is still good against Bonewidow mechs but finding the right point to hit them on seems inconsistent. I really wish I had the Stropha on PC so I could test it there. That might be a goal for the holidays.
Voidrig's 4 works well against other Voidrigs as long as you target the area and not the Voidrig itself. One of them did use Storm Shroud so I just stopped firing for a few seconds.

I'm wondering if there is a damage bug on the console version. I've just been trying solo iso vaults on PS4 with Wukong, Catchmoon and Stropha. Pre-arcana update the Stropha utterly destroyed the Voidrigs in just a couple of shots. Now it seems that most shots "miss", even when hitting the shoulders or arms directly. The catchmoon was only marginally better and I nearly threw my controller through the TV on the T3 vault as all three 'mechs teamed up on me. Their slow ability is OTT as it seems to stack. Watching your frame take over 10 seconds to land after being knocked down, all the while being pummeled is just downright humiliating.

I'm about to go build Banshee for Silence and level up my own voidrig to try its 4. I will have my revenge!!

In my (unscientific) trial runs it seems to be similar on XBox using Wukong, Acceltra and Stropha, but I'm wondering if it's something to do with Hotfix 29.5.4

Before I could see when it cast Storm Shroud as the health bar turned grey/invulnerable so I knew not to bother attacking. Now I think (will go and double check) it doesn't show that Storm Shroud is active in the same way as it isn't invulnerable, just hugely damage resistant so I'm just carrying on fighting (with the large reduction in damage)

I used an Assimilate Nyx (235 range 40 strength) and a crit built stropha a few days ago and got t1-t3 + t3 escort done in iirc 25 mins. thru dispensary on her 2 so i had energy and ammo if needed. For me, its more about staying alive than anything else.....and sadly hildryn doesnt have a good aoe damage OR distract ability (Chaos is really nice for the first phase and the escort)

I take wukong with his 4 replaced with silence, ogris for general use, then catch moon and stropha. Mark the mech, heavy attack, and as long as silence is up, you should be good. Helps if it aggros on the clone, but works either way

I used Wisp with infused Silence on her 2 + Rattleguts kitgun + Arcane Velocity. Silence prevents all abilities as others said, but Wisp increase firerate and can speed up Loid with Haste Mote.
If you already have Voidrig, it's Arquebex shreds mechs in seconds, but frame with Silence helps, because enemy mech mines and Bonewidow Ironbride can destroy your mech in single cast/swing.

Other way is can be Equinox with....Decoy. In night form, build up your Peaceful Provocation augment slow, then cast decoy somewhere so enemy mech will turn around then the same Rattleguts or other high crit, high firerate weapon or Stropha/Fulmin take care of limbs and back weakspot.

if you have enough granny tokken i recommend building the quassus, as all the components including blueprint can be owned just by working a bit with the Entrati family, which i personally did before playing a lot in isolation vaults.

20 granny tokken seems expensive as long as you just do random open world stuff on deimos you will stack them in few days.

A heavy attack and crit chance build can rekt almost any mini boss type ennemies on the starchart such as level 5 lich or stalker babies in steel path and of course, necramech with the last update (as i like to think they are similar to lich but with weakpoints)

Here is a video of me playing Gara starting at the end of step 2 ISO vault bounty, reaching and killing a necramech in appoximatively one minute. im just showing its possible to get them under a minute in good condition because i am awful in this video : i had to recast splinter storm and i clearly was aiming with my feet, meaning you can almost one shot them if you can reach their back or just let them bleed out.

i think you can either play a tanky frame for survivability or a stealth one to reach their back. my favorite choice are Harrow and Wukong : Harrow for addictional crit chance and wukong for his perfect mix between tankiness and the celestial twin ability to take agro so you can aim for the back.

So arxan hit and octavias mallet doesn't kill the mech effectively anymore and i want the get new weapons from the newer bounties, so whats the new strats to kill the mechs so i can move on to want i want to do?

First blow the mech's arms off, THEN spam "arxan hit" (whatever you were trying to type) and Octavia Mallet as before

I was starting to work on the new bounties yesterday after the update hit, and I found that archguns (I used Imperator Vandal) work quite well on Bonewidows, while Arca Plasmour (or something similar) works quite well on Voidrigs. I didn't want to go with a "Mech Killer" frame, since I wanted the frame to be more effective during the bounties (so I went Mesa).

It's not particularly fast since you have to kite them for a bit, but the time loss doesn't matter much in the long run as long as you can then spam the Arcana bounties (since the bounties themselves are really slow). If you go for 3 Iso vaults and then spam T3 Arcana bounties (at least 4-5 times), then the time loss on killing the mechs is well worth spending to make the bounties themselves significantly easier.

Just hit the necramech in the shoulders and the back weak spots. To face their back now you need to actively circumvent them (easy using any frame with invisibility) or make them turn around (using decoys i.e. loki's decoy, wisp's Wil-O-Wisp, saryn's molt, gara's spectrorage).  I tried solo all of them and they work. Octavia still rocks with her perma-invisibility (T1 + T2 + T3 + T3 bonus Loid escort in 24 min with room for a lot of improvement).

When behind, hit like a truck with your highest DPS crit-based weapons. Stropha still works wonders on them (just mind that Bonewidow's back hitbox is a little bit bugged, you need to shoot from a slightly elevated position, like standing on a rock and aiming down). Nukor works surprisingly good. Mind also that armor stripping abilities work, shattering impact too, and will make the job easier.

I'm sure there are new cheese tactics that can reduce the entire encounter to the press of a button again. I don't know those methods, but I can share with you what I use:

I use a Nekros with Banshee's Silence infused into the first slot. This works for me because Silence prevents all the Necramech abilities (no shield, mines, slowdown). Then I cast shadows of the dead, which distracts the mech causing it to reveal its back to me. I then shoot the melee arm first, then the ranged arm, then the back. I use a high fire rate crit weapon like Stradavar Prime or Kuva Karak. I'm sure there are better weapons that can bring it down faster, but I like these ones.

Personally, I enjoy the Necramech fights. Therefore I haven't really bothered to optimize it with some cheese method.

I would suggest: If you don't want to kill the mechs, then don't! I think that "grind mentality" makes the game less fun. That's just my personal opinion though, just my two cents :)
