Honestly I disagree on Caliban. He sucks but that's it, he's a relatively recent Warframe. Nyx, Atlas & Banshee, on the other hand... are outdated. Banshee is too frail and has suffered way too much from all those CC-immune enemies implemented over the last few years to the point she's not fun to use anymore. Atlas well... Nyx has suffered even more from the destruction of CC obviously. I disagree for Trinity though. She needs some minor tweaks, not a total rework, but she's totally playable and most of her kit is still relevant as of today.

DE Please return Heirloom Mag and Frost Skins
Chewarette replied to MrGreenKPrime's topic in General Discussion
Don't compare. Excal is a specific case, given to the players who helped make Warframe something back when it was nothing, it makes sense that it is and remains exclusive simply for that. Heirloom collection was to "celebrate" (lol, pay us 100$ to celebrate) the 10 years of Warframe. That is a $&*^ move. -
DE Please return Heirloom Mag and Frost Skins
Chewarette replied to MrGreenKPrime's topic in General Discussion
Not seeing how having those as time-limited is garbage is beyond me. - Those who purchases the Heirloom collection didn't do it "because it was time-exclusive", they bought it because they liked it. - If there are some people who bought those just because it was time-limited, that's on them. - Alienating a substantial part of the playerbase with FOMO tactics is wrong. - New players (aka people who didn't play at the time) are forever screwed, further incriminating this garbage practice. Option 1 is the only good option. On my side I've given lots of money to DE already as I love this game, I didn't buy the Heirloom despite wanting it because I don't want to congratulate DE for falling into the most vile monetization schemes, and I guarantee I won't give any sort of money anymore if they don't suck it up and admit they were wrong by doing the only thing that makes sense. All this mess is totally beyond me considering the Heirloom collection would have brought DE 20x more money if it wasn't time-limited. It doesn't make sense on any point of view to do it as they did. -
3rd row of Mods for weapons (utility mods only)
Chewarette replied to Kartumterek's topic in Weapons
Let's not exaggerate... That's like one of the most powerful mod, you can't give its name in the same sentence where you said "no direct damage" -
Why don't you ignore the randomizer for the warframe to make it an easy run for you ? Are you in total need of 50 Vosfor that you can't deal without ? If that's the case, I would suggest to : - Run EDA at full difficulty -1 (pick the Warframe or weapon of your choice, or ignore the most handicapping affix for you) - Run 10 minutes of any Steel Path Endless mission for 2 acolytes which will give you the Vosfor you need Both will be a lot easier than running EDA at full difficulty (and probably quicker too)

How would you make Mastery Rank more relevant in Warframe?
Chewarette replied to Zahnny's topic in General Discussion
- Weapons - Blessing - Standing per day Adding anything to that would be deemed Pay2Win. I'm not sure we "need" to make Mastery Rank more relevant - it would just put pressure on people doing thing they dislike or pushing them to buy/rush weapons for . As it stands today, the MR is an incentive, but without being absolutely mandatory for anything. It's good as it is. -
Why don't we have this loading screen more often ?
Chewarette posted a topic in Art, Animation, & UI
Heya, I think that's like the 3rd time in my life that I see this loading screen. It's gorgeous, has the same functionality as the "standard one" (moving the ship), imo that's a neat upgrade to the normal one. The first time I've seen it was like 4 months ago, and since that moment I've seen it only two other times. I'm not sure why - is it a failed experiment that they somehow forgot to remove ? Is it supposed to be split 50/50 with the other one ? Or am I just terribly unlucky -
Having it the other way will also push people to delete weapons to only keep meta weapons in their arsenal, as was already pushed by the Circuit's randomizer's probabilities. It's not a good solution either

A plea to make some Helminths, and missions viable again.
Chewarette replied to Turboameeba's topic in General
More options ? I'm in ! -
Sorry I posted a bit in a hurry, it was not meant to contradict anything you said. Just a complementary information in case someone is not aware (I wasn't until I looked it up hehe), there are some situational buffs that apply on it

Warframe in 2024, is it really worth it?
Chewarette replied to Bravoryus's topic in General Discussion
Endo is barely a problem really... Warframe has problems, but Endo ain't one -
Why is there electricity shooting out of Dex Pixia?
Chewarette replied to MutoManiac's question in Players helping Players
You had the relic buff (the one that pops when you open the relic). In that case, we see you had the corrupted texture on your Warframe, so I guess it also shows the lightning bolts on Dex Pixia as exalted weapon. -
In theory yeah, in practice nope. Don't compare the Grimoire's alt fire with Noctua's - Grimoire's is slow af and doesn't go really far, which usually make it hit very few targets. Furthermore, Noctua's alt-fire charges a lot quicker than Grimoire's thanks to its chain, which makes it possible to maintain the buff indefinitely with little to no effort.

Not feasible. First of all, one of the difficulty constraint of DA/EDA is that you cannot change anything between rounds. With what you propose, one could do the first mission, drop out, change something and come back for stage 2 (with another group). Unless you put some limitations in place, but then the game has to check, or provide you with a checklist of all you had during your initial run, including your Mods ! Secondly, I believe there isn't enough groups with fewer than 4 people going around, so your matchmaking would take ages. more than it would take simply re-doing mission 1/2. Unless in your view, the matchmaking would favor Round 2 parties, but if none exist, it would group you with Round 1 parties ? In which case, I can guarantee most people would matchmake / leave groups as long as they don't find the desired mission. That sounds crazy and not helpful at all. I understand what you request here, failing at Round 3 when you already spent lots of time doing the first 2 is frustrating, but I don't think there's a solution with the way EDA is designed currently.

The new demolishers only disrespect endgame players.
Chewarette replied to Turboameeba's topic in New Game Modes Feedback
When I heard the demolishers were going to be Necramechs, I thought it was dead on arrival (for me). Those dudes are already insanely tanky in normal missions so as Demolishers ?? But in the end, I largely prefer them over the standard demolishers, which vary from "lol one-shottable target" to "annoying af juggernaut with one billion armor and nullifying field that you need a very specific build to deal with". Demolisher Necramechs are tanky but not too much, they have no nullifying fields, in my opinion they are correctly designed. As in not too tanky, not too frail, can be slowed/stopped, but too fast if you don't. -
Light verse very small usage - changes/buffs
Chewarette replied to quxier's topic in Dante & New Weapons Feedback
The problem only lies in the fact Triumph is vastly overpowered, Light verse is normal-powered. If Triumph didn't provide you with year-long-lasting overguard, you would be glad to have a 25-energy button that instantly gives you : - invulnerability window - healing - overguard - overguard's shield-gate if you didn't have any The fact Triumph just S#&$s you 80k overguard + one-minute of free overguard generation renders Light Verse a lot less useful (but not useless either), of course. But it's Triumph's problem and not Light Verse's imo- 16 replies

Did DE program RNG to be rigged for end of round rewards?
Chewarette replied to Redrigoth's topic in New Game Modes Feedback
Why would they go the extra mile just to screw us over, instead of just lowering the odds ? That's just a conspiracy theory, but it has absolutely 0 ground. Run the mission one billion times and you'll fall on the correct percentages. Your anecdotal evidence based on a couple dozen of runs at best doesn't mean anything. -
Line Of Sight (Los) on Voruna
Chewarette replied to fumaczi's topic in General Dante Unbound Feedback
I think the issues with her 2 is more linked to pathing issues than LoS. And it's indeed painful as the only reliable way to use her 2 is to spend time jumping around, I assume the game has easier way finding the path when you're jumping (going in a straight line) rather than when you're on the ground (finding a way through stairs, rocks, obstacles, other enemies etc) -
Light verse very small usage - changes/buffs
Chewarette replied to quxier's topic in Dante & New Weapons Feedback
I have trouble seeing how Light Verse is bad when the justification is that Triump (which requires two Light Verses) is better. That's also disregarding the fact Light Verse is also used for two other abilities, Wordwarden and Pageflight, so you have the possibility to heal/overguard yourself while buffing allies. In my opinion Light Verse is nice as it is.- 16 replies

Yup, this is the part that I'm OK with. Over the last two weeks, I had Melee weapons which I never potato'd/forma'd, and I did solely for EDA, in the end I "discovered" they were pretty nice in fact. Even the Plasma Sword with its innate electricity damage which is nice for Melee Influence builds

Garuda As An Option (lol [lmao even])
Chewarette replied to (PSN)MikeyGoWOOGA's topic in Deep Archimedea Feedback
I'm 99.7% confident they forgot Garuda exist. And to be honest, I tend to forget her as well since they destroyed her 4 with LoS
