  1. Let me tell you the real issue with that: You were expecting the mod to drop. The best way to farm it is to not farm it at all, so you have plenty of copies of everything you want. Same logic as working with printers. /s
  2. I could get more, but I see no need. Irony and projection at its finest, from a toxic player trying badly to paint a community in a bad light. Specially when people don't blindly agree with the rant. And no, the community is not perfect, and I also have my own gripes with it, but it's not as bad as disgruntled people often make it out to be. Specially when you put it side by side with most other games out there. I won't echo what others have said, nor engage in pissing contests, but the above quotes pretty much highlight what I wanted to say. Don't assume other people's needs or preferences. Your freedom ends where other people's freedom begins and vice-versa. It's easy to become toxic after playing for a long time, dominating the game and the most effective ways to play it and expect people to be as knowledgeable as you are after all this time, or share the same priorities. Specially if we're talking casual players vs veteran players. And I should know, since I'm also on Warframe since it first launched on PS and have seen the meta and "social expectations" shift countless times during that time. But even after all this time I know I have to make my own expectations, not make others adhere to my personal mindsets. That's it. Kudos.
  3. I'll just drop my flattest nopes here. And I do have the Heirloom pack, loving the skins, but am still against how DE proceeded with it. Not much to add on top of what others said, but I'll just reinforce that this would make the issue way, way worse. Not better.
  4. It's pretty normal. As far as I know explosives tend to bounce off the bubble, even if they still reduce it as much as a shot from other normal weapons. I greatly recall this with the Acceltra. I just make sure to take a fast firing, hitscan weapon along for those nully's. Like a Soma or Aksomati. Makes quick work of the bubble. Can't have everything, which is expected.
  5. Hey, DE. Questions for this devstream: With cross platform save finally in the near horizon, can we expect an account merge to happen, as previously planned? Specially for those who share the same e-mail for said accounts. If an account merge is not in the cards what will happen to any other accounts sharing the same e-mail address? Poof, gone? (/s) Should I consider changing the e-mail address in my secondary account? Also, what about founders who migrated into consoles years ago? Would they have to pick up from where their PC account was at just to keep their Founder items? With Soulframe already looking so good (I know there's still a long way to the finish line), could we assume it might release in 2024? Or perhaps it still has a longer dev cycle ahead that pushes its release into 2025 or later? I know we don't do dates, but I'm genuinely curious as to how far along it is. About the planned melee stuff and QoL, any plans to grant melees more ways to keep the combo counter up? For example, the Rauta/Kullervo mechanic, as well as the "keep combo meter while unequipped" was pretty nice. Looking forward to more QoL like that. Cheers, keep up the superb work.
  6. I do it this way, since by now I have a surplus of stock and everything else purchased: I only do the Kahl run once per week. Once. And since I have a surplus no biggie, I can still get my shard and recover next week. In fact I purchase my shard before even starting the run. The only time I'll do it twice is in the event I'm only missing one or two items, tops, and they can be found at the start of the run. For example, if I need 1 genestamp I'll just run a second time, go to the usual spots, grab the one I'm missing, and abort the run. Still get the stock. If possible, I'll try to complete all challenges. 5 Minimum for the weekly 90 stock to cover for the Archon Shard. Except in weeks I can't be bothered to put much effort. In such case all I really want is a "Mission Completed" in order to be able to refresh the Kahl run in the following week. If there's a time limit, I'll decide if I can do everything in the alloted time. If it's rather risky, and by rushing I'm risking losing another challenge (specially the "Do not die", the most valuable one), I'll just take my sweet time. It's only 15 points after all. That's about it. For my sanity.
  7. That would be a nice thing to have. A biiig tank with a huge capacity for all existent fish and ones yet to come. And actual space for them to move. I have a poor big Glappid in my main tank, but the poor thing can't even move from its spot.
  8. This. This is the reason I still stick with this game despite the sheer abundance of masssive live service multiplayers out there trying to compete for my time and money. And why I'm hyped for Soulframe. Because it's not shamelessly greedy. At one point I tried to balance Warframe with Red Dead Online, another live service I loved a lot - but Rockstar decided GTA Online was more important and pretty much abandoned RDO. So into the trash bin that game went, as I refuse to play it any more. Allow Warframe to keep its status of "Live Service done right", and I'll happily support the game as long as it's alive. Let it become another overly predatory title, and I'll search for another game that respects its playerbase. And I've sunk more money into this game than any other by far. No need for this kind of stunts, which while rare, happen every few years. Happy to be part of a community that celebrates and contributes, but also has the guts to say "No!" when something like this happens.
  9. You are correct, but I'll focus myself on the part of "taking into account the feedback of the current Heirloom Collection". Right now we can't do much but wait and accept an inneficient solution, and hope future Heirloom packs truly address the biggest issues with this one. Honestly, given how truly mesmerizing these Heirloom skins are, I do want more of them. Definetly. Just not the predation that came with this one. However, one thing is for sure, I hope the community raises an even bigger stink if another pack comes with Founder Pack characteristics. These "test the waters" moments are crucial points for the development of the game. If the community allows for it, not even Warframe is safe from corporate greed.
  10. I love that cape, and agree. Longer! Flashier! Just like in the original design. Less like a regular short coat and more like those majestic ankle-deep coats many One Piece characters use (the admirals come to mind, for example). . It's the main reason I still try to play Hydroid (and sink resources in it) despite Hydroid being pretty 💩at the moment. I am dearly hoping this rework brings Hydroid properly up to speed so I can use him way more.
  11. I'm sorry, but without actual examples of other time-gated, once in a lifetime, real-world currency exclusive and with a very, very premium cost (Essentially like Founder's Pack), I'll have to chalk my response down to: - "Ok, champ. You know it! 🤘" I won't deny that there's some stuff that I have and they are very unlikely to return in the future (Raids Sekharas come to mind, as well as the 10-year anniversary emblems and other celebratory stuff we got for free just now - but that's wildly different imo) but I don't particularly recall another time when DE pulled a Founders Package - 2nd Edition such as with the Heirloom Collection. At least during the last few years. Feel free to prove me unequivocally wrong, of course, but I feel this is more about "being right" about villain DE, even if by grasping at straws, than anything else. And that's about it for me, since I don't particularly like to engage in other people's attemps at drawing others to their vitriol by way of unfounded generalization, regardless of them having a point or not. Otherwise I'd be permanently stuck in the forums trying to argue with other people and collecting a lifetime supply of moderation points. Cheers.
  12. Thank you for at least doing something about it, DE. It's better than nothing. But from my point of view the real issue with this package was: The inflation of the pack's cost due to platinum inclusion and specially regal aya. The time-gate and exclusivity part of the package, which makes it very similar to the Founders Program, something you said would not happen again. If this is a one-time only thing, so be it. I'll certainly buy it and enjoy two of the best skins in the whole game, and for two of my favorite-ish frames. It is a good pack by itself, but the precedent it sets is very ugly. Please do not do this kind of thing again. Ever.
  13. I'll quote myself on another recent post source in spoiler). Sad to see this type of move to celebrate 10 years of a mostly humble journey. I too hope this does not become a trend.
  14. So, this is my feedback regarding the new Console Plat Coupons. For context I have both a Playstation account (main) and a PC account (secondary), so I've tried both worlds. For those unaware, this was annouced here, and plat discounts on consoles previous to this annoucement functioned very differently from PC Coupons - Instead of a straight discount on the plat price, they offered a discount on any single item of the ingame market (excluding bundles and tennogen). Now what these new coupons do is keep the same price for the plat package, but add the offer the percentage as bonus plat on puchase. So, here's my experience with a 30% discount: For comparison, the most common "high" coupons on PC are 75% off, which turns a pack of "4300 plat for 179,00€" into a "4300 for 45,00€" (see spoiler). So I'm basing my comparison on a 75% discount and a price point of 45-50€, something comparable to a Prime Accessories package. One note here: I am not considering those mythical 90% discounts some lucky players got at least on PC, and I'm not counting with the console company cut, nor the fact that Tennogen is purchasable with platinum on consoles. Not counting country and regional currency differences either. All I'll say on these topics is that if they changed to be 100% like it is on PC, I would not mind at all, regardless of how unlikely this could be. Just to get that out of the way. - - - - - So there's a huuuuge expected difference between how much plat I'd obtain at a 75% discount and 45€ on my PSN account, and what I'd get at almost the same price point and discount on PC. So after actually trying it I can say, not really worth it for me personally, and I don't really see myself preferring this option to simply buying a Prime Accessories pack 1-3 times a year on console, since that's the only actually good plat deal I see. Or buying actual 4300 plat for 45€, or 2100 plat for 22€, on PC. Now I guess I'm curious to know how multi-platform plat will actually work when cross-save becomes an actual thing, since I don't really see myself engaging in the console plat sales. But that's another entire can of worms in itself. I don't have an opinion on whether "Bonus Plat" is better than "Discount on Single Market Item", since the latter was also lackluster compared to how plat works on PC, as the first now feels as well. I guess that'll be up to the community to decide on the long run. And that's pretty irrelevant in my honest opinion, since I very much doubt DE would even consider returning to the old form of console discount. The usual disclaimer: Just my opinion and feedback as an individual, not here to argue. Feel free to discuss, I just ask to keep it civil. Kudos and out.
  15. If the concern i about the IP on your PC and the PS4, i believe there shouldn't be any problem. Many people play in this way with one another, myself and family members included. Since this is likely a temporary situation, if you wanna minimize the risk, I'd suggest avoiding trading. Specially where rarer items (say, legendary cores) and large sums of plat are concerned. Shouldn't be an issue if you are on different platforms, since we can't cross-platform trade yet anyways. Cheers!
  16. Ok, so TL;DR - It'd be cool to have a placeable foundry, arsenal, mod station, and so on where we want. In paces from the Dormizone, to the Drifter Camp, and so on. To be clear, I know something like this has been suggested before, or at least part of it. (New War spoilers ahead) A-hem... Despite playing Warframe for over 9 years I never found much attachment with most of the living spaces, despite trying to make them as "home-y" as possible. Until yesterday I had 8 minutes to wait for the Duviri gear refresh and decided to wander a bit on the Drifter camp, on the place where we fight the Lotus. There's the cave depicted on the image above, which I kind fell in love with and placed a Duviri Bed, a small table with a tea set, and little else. (story spoiler end). It'd be cool if we could have a kind of "shortcut" items that could be placed, say, just outside that cave, as well as a spawn point for when we start up the game. Or the same thing for those who would want to make an actual home base out of the Dormizone. More importantly, if our main utilities were mobile and placeable, imagine the possibility of having future and alternate places where we could set ourselves up. Maybe a secret vent in Fortuna, like the Vent Kids have. Or one of the houses in Cetus. Some real estate in Jupiter, hidden from the Corpus? I'd love something in that huge metropolis we can see from space in the Pluto Proxima. I know this isn't a priority by any means, but this would be awesome to have in the game, and allow for much more diversity and immersion. That's about it. Peace n' out.
  17. Well... There's no logic preventing Fortuna from returning to the way it was pre-TNW. I mean, we win the war, everything goes back to normal, but I'm supposed to believe people will just leave the Narmer stuff on their camps and towns and not clean up afterwards? You're telling me Konzu is just fine with a whole giant Narmer eye in the center plaza of Cetus, ruining all his early lunches and reminding him of the bad times? And Eudico, the voice of the oppressed, is just fine with the same thing in Fortuna? Heck, does Nef Anyo allow those reminders in "his" Fortuna? We're sure he'd not just replace the narmer stuff with statues of himself and of Granum? It doesn't add up for me. If we have to choose one or the other, at least go with the more familiar and logic choice.
  18. Well, no surprises here. I'm all for power fsntasy, and I did enjoy the madness while it lasted, but it was really too good a buff. And even now I still feel Styanax is in a wat better spot than before frame overguard was a thing. But the Frost overguard buff? Praise thy lord Clem! And as a smaller note. I'm not a fan of emotes in any game. But I had to be without them to kinda miss them a bit. Glad they're back.
  19. Yesterday it went like this for me: Hm... Do 3 Sorties for NW. Ok, haven't done one in ages and I'm almost done with WF for this week (archon, circuit, kahl, etc). Let's see what we have for today's sortie. Interception + Ambulas? Nope, nu-uh. Way too long for me. Rather wait for quicker sortie days, even if I have to complete this challenge in another week. And that was it.
  20. Yeah, this has been asked many times, and since forever - and I'm all for it. I guess there must be a very technical reason for it not to be a thing already - likely to do with the age-old spaghetti code of the game. But we eventually got many basic QoL things (Syndicate Pledge comes to mind) after many years, even though they're small details. I'm still hoping for this to come one day. And like the Syndicate Pledge it'll likely overshadow whatever big announcements that come with it (for me, at least), since sometimes curing an ail that's been bugging us for a long time has more hype than most new shiny content islands that get put into the backburner after a while.
  21. Hm... It is interesting... I was curious and went to compare my PS and PC accounts, and I have my Drifter Intrinsics maxed for both, but the MR count matches. In any case, my PS Drifter Intrinsics: And my PC Drifter Intrinsics: Weird.
  22. I wouldn't be against it, and while I do find that melee is somewhat underperforming guns, I don't feel like they're in a bad place at all. What's ironical and funny is that the galvanized mods were created with the express purpose of mimicking melee damage scaling and bring guns to the same level of melee, back then, so I also do find this post somewhat funny. We've come full circle.
  23. I'd have to agree with this eventually being locked, even though I don't see anything wrong. That's the darker side of Warframe, despite how much I do love this game and its community, and regardless of the things I do dislike in this imperfect game. All I'll say is that there's a line that separates moderating/censoring plain and objective bad content - things like insults and salt fests - and content that just doesn't fit a desired narrative. When this moderation and censorship happens due to not fitting the narrative woever is at the helm want (which is purely arbitrary by nature, and not "right" or "wrong" or any other adjective), then players can get a sneak peak behind the beautiful curtain (this is a "small" game made by lovely humans with passions, etc.) and see the marketing machine doing its work for its business. To be fair, I do believe in both sides of said "curtain", and I know that first and foremost it is a business and certain things can't be avoided. But I still think a better job could be done to uphold the standard of consistency and overall fairness. (Edit Addition) More importantly, I guess my fear is that DE eventually pushes the good will that brought them this far (from a dying company who pushed one last hail mary out - Warframe), which can ruin this otherwise wonderful experience for me in the long run, along with all the investment I've made so far. See, bigger companies like Rockstar, or EA, also were smaller companies at one point, dishing out banger after banger, experimenting and seeing what players liked, pursuing innovative ideas. Now they are titans, and they are famous for being bad companies who just care about money, regardless of what players want or the pursuit of passion projects. This, of course, not counting with those threads that do start as a proper discussion and then turn into a salt fest because people can't respect each other. In those cases, while sad that a lockdown could have been avoided, I fully understand the need for moderation.
  24. Nothing wrong with what you're doing, as that's the non-invasive way of doing defenses as Limbo. The problem is when you get those high range + high duration Limbo's that pretty much make it a pain in the behind for those using weapons to take down enemies, which can only be bypassed if the other players use nuke abilities (Mesa's 4, Gyre's entire kit, Thermal Sunder Harrow, Mirage's 4, Xaku's 4, and so on). And for that matter my Limbo does have 2 builds: One for low range/high duration, seemingly like yours, and another one with max range but duration doesn't matter because I only cast it and take it away since it's only meant to break boxes in a wide range. That'd be pretty much the only good situation for all that range on a Limbo. That being said, I did have instances (one or two that I recall) where I did get a host migration when I had a Limbo on the team, just after joining. I did think the poor Limbo must have tought I left because of them even without caring about how much range they had. And I never left a squad even with a high range/high duration Limbo. I do tend to like and use frame abilities most of the time, so while still annoying it's not a problem. And if by chance I'm using a frame that needs gunplay (Say, Loki), well, in that case I just hope the Limbo doesn't mind me chilling while he does the work, since he's the one making my life harder than it needs to be. That'd be about it.
