  1. Sometimes I do think, "ah, how nice it would be to be able to fit Primed Sure Footed into the Arcane Slot" - but then again if we did have an "Arcane Sure Footed", I'd also want to fit it into the main build, because sometimes I can spare a mod slot, and sometimes I can spare an arcane slot. So it becomes a moot point unless we have both options available. And do I expect us to eventually have both a Primed Sure Footed mod and an Arcane Sure Footed? Nope. Seems very, very unlikely.
  2. I am disappointed by the Soma Incarnon... Seriously, Soma has always been one of my favorite guns for its simplicity and good firing feel. To be honest, I didn't even expect it to have an actual incarnon, since I was good with how it performed. Still, I guess the buffs to the base version by themselves are already something, but to be honest that's about it. I don't really use the incarnon mode on the Soma. I have tried, but it doesn't feel right at all. And many other weapons you describe could also use an uplift, yes. Specially the more underrated and undervalued weapons, which is kinda the entire point of the incarnon genesis systems, isn't it? For example, the Strun Prime being a beast? It's good, but then again it was already a pretty good shotty, so nothing surprising there. Now the likes of Torid or Despair suddenly becoming very good weapons? That's what it's all about for me. In that regard, DE, please do the Harpak Incarnon Genesis - and make that harpoon have a fun gimmic. I don't own it, but it's an interesting weapon I'd like to use frequently should it become an actual solid weapon.
  3. Oh, ok. Apologies for misunderstanding. And yeah, one would assume the whole set would come together, either in a single reward, or separated in the same NW season. Or at the very minimum of minimums it could come in the next immediate season. But oh well, nothing surprising lmao.
  4. Well, technically there is already a Saturn Six Syandana (below, on the right). It's no cape, but I'm not sure if you meant a more "standard-cape-ish" Saturn Six Syandana. If it hasn't come in recent seasons (Don't recall, since I got it during the original run), it should be almost here, I think. As for the Fluctus, I'd be up for it. I do like that gun, so the more options, the better.
  5. Tune in to Tennolive on August 26th. Not only you'll get freebies for watching live on Twitch, they'll also share news on crossave. And since Tennocon is for celebrating, and the first in-person event in years, I expect we'll have some juicy info on it. Fingers crossed.
  6. Doesn't need to, honestly, and I've purchased plenty of plat in my 9 years of playing - both in my PS and PC accounts, and in the form of discounted PC plat and Console Prime Access Packs. All it needs to do it unify platforms and their economies in a fair manner, since multi-platform trading is expected with crossave. Having tried both ways, to have coupons behave more like they do on PC is a great thing. I much rather have a discount on plat itself rather than a single item. By extension, that basically means all the discounted plat translates to a discount on all the items you use that plat on, since you'll have much more plat to spend on all the items you want, even if they are at full price. Not only on market stuff, but you can apply that logic to trades with other players, which is already an upgrade in itself. For sure, there's the "Tennogen for plat" on consoles, which I don't know how and if it will be adressed by this change. And there's no benefit to people who exclusively farm plat or aren't planning to buy plat. But I don't really see an issue in that since hopefully this will still mean a bigger plat flow and economy on consoles, which means more plat to go around for plat farmers, if that's what they wanna pursue. If this change actually encourages console players to buy more plat in their respective console stores, I can only see this as a good thing in the long run for the game's economy. Besides, since plat is way more abundant on PC than it is on consoles, and therefore the economy is different, this will also prevent several issues for when crossave allows different platforms to trade with one another, since I expect the differences between different economies to not be so stark as they are now. That's my humble and uneducated take on it, based on my experience with the game and how it tends to work, but being aware that since we don't have any specifics on these changes it's hard to accurately predict the actual outcome of it.
  7. So, this post? If they end up resembling anything like PC coupons I'll be more than happy to switch. Specially if this "extra plat" translates well in the platinum purchases leading up to ~45€, which is the equivalent to the highest tier of plat on PC with a 75% (4300 plat for 45€) discount applied. Anything lower than that and I don't see much worth in it, like with those seasonal plat discounts that happen every now and then on consoles. Unless with crossave we can simply purchase PC plat as it happens now, but I doubt it'd be that easy and unrestricted. Console companies certainly wouldn't like it, to be sure.
  8. I'd love this so much. Nowadays I only do Duviri to farm Clamps, and it's such a chore... On the other hand, I do Circuit much more often.
  9. You have Acrithis, who sells several items for Pathos Clamps, such as Orokin Reactor/Catalyst BP's, Forma BP's, Arcane Adaptors, and so on. I wouldn't purpusely farm Clamps for that, butfor someone who does enjoy Duviri a lot, or for new players who spend a lot of time in it, the surplus clamps are a nice bonus for these rewards.
  10. I agree. This would be a nice QoL feature. I have tried making this kind of builds before, and its kinda frustrating that we have to replace the same ability, which makes it redundant... Harrow comes to mind, since sometimes I rather put Thermal Sunder over his 2, and sometimes over his 1, depending on the type of mission. I ended up replacing his 2, but I still wish I could have a build with the other option.
  11. 3 days ago was my 9th Birthday since joining Warframe for the first time. 7 or so of those years I was exclusively a PS player. But for the last 2-3 years I began a new PC account, right after they officially announced that crossave was going to be a thing. I had a new work and gaming laptop, and wanted to see what the fuss was about those plat discounts PC has (and damn, they're good, but besides the point). Not only that, crossplay was a thing, so time to "cash in" on my brother-in-law and wife who I mentored and already had high MR accounts by then. You think I'd make the same progresson path on my second account as I did with my first? Nope, this time I had knowledge as a veteran and friends to help me restart faster. So long as I didn't become a burden until I had somewhat decent gear, which was no problem. So if a low level player is being carried I don't see any issue, so long as the mission still succeeds by any means. I mean, I'm a veteran Loki starter who has no trouble doing any spy in the game, but even I'll trip an alarm with my Ivara every now and then. I don't think this is such a common occurrence that we "have to put a stop to it", and at best it makes new players get to the good parts of the game faster, instead of giving up on the game.
  12. Don't see any issue, if using it for levelling and other "skip-the-grind-faster" utilities. Don't particularly like it when it's used as a one-trick-pony ability, however. Besides, a bit hypocritical when taking a Bramma with a Wisp, if I'm being honest. - this is more than often the subtle but very relevant difference between "Oh no, he's ruining the game for others with that AoE" and "Oh no, he's out-performing me in ruining the game for others with that AoE!". If I am levelling a frame, yeah, it's annoying since I want the EXP for the frame (but then, I'm usually using the high-end TS build). If I'm levelling weapons I'll give kudos to the guy obliterating the map and making me level faster. Anyway, I'm good.
  13. I agree. It's a bandaid, but at least it'd be something.
  14. I'm sure I'm not the first one to suggest this, but I'd love it if we could set certain mission types to notify us in our smartphones when they appear. It would be a massive QoL and has the potential to increase played time for many players imho. To be more specific, I mean the following, for example: Set a notification for when, say, a Disruption Fissure comes live - or a spy, or defense, or whatnot. (Same for Railjack Fissures and Steel Path Fissures) Set a notification for when the rewards refresh in Plains of Eidolon. Set a notification for when the daily cycle changes on Orb Vallis. Set a notification for when Day/Night time changes in the Earth tileset. Set a notification for when a specific item appears in invasions (from weapon parts to consumables, to formas/reactors/catalysts). There might be other use cases for this, I'm sure, but I don't recall any others at the moment. This is something other Warframe apps/websites usually try to offer, but sadly not in an effective way (from my experience). Having this be an official way to sort through the massive amount of content would be great. Thanks!
  15. This would have honestly been so cool tbh. DE... *Wink* *Wink* *Nudge* *Nudge* There's an idea for the 15-year anniversary. There's 5 whole years to make it an epic thing.
  16. I agree with the sentiment, and would add that the only thing keeping me from doing them way more is how long it takes to get to Rotation C in some game modes, like survival, where we can't control the flow of the mission. To that end I still do kinda like Defense, Excavation and specially Disruption. Sad that it's pretty rare to see a game mode I like with gear I'm comfortable with. And there's always the risk that one or more team mates leave at the first or second rotation, which for the life of me I can't understand why would someone play Arbs just for one or two rounds, but to each their own, I guess.
  17. I mean.... It's supposed to be a special and inclusive event to celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary, not an uber-challenge to appease bored players. I think it's supposed to be easy enough that a new player who has just started playing fresh can do it and get the 'nice' rewards. I just did each once, grabbed the reward, and called it a day. Just like any other event/alert of this kind.
  18. So, in translation, "I don't use it and don't see the appeal in it, therefore it should be deleted from everyone's experience". Nice, so can I make my own unreasonable requests based on my own personal tastes? Delete Rivens Delete Conclave Delete Archwing Starchart Nodes Delete the Nemesis System And so on. Unironically, even though I'm not particularly fond of these systems I still don't mind their existence, and even use them a bit from time to time, when they truly benefit my experience. Same for PSF. I use it on some frames, namely those who are most threathened by the dangers of being knocked down. But it's not like its an essential mod by any means, and I don't think anyone with extensive experience in Warframe - aka pretty much everyone who gets PSF, due to acquisition restrictions - would say it really and absolutely is.
  19. Yeah, unfortunately Sony doesn't have the best PC support for their Dualshock/Dualsense, while Xbox controllers have full support. I'll recommend you what was recommended to me when I first started playing Warframe on PC, with my Dualsense. Download DS4Windows, it will basically tell the PC to treat your DS4 like an Xbox Controller and enable full compatibility with the game. Some tinkering will be needed in order to enable the touchpad to work like it does on PS, but it's possible and worth it. You can remap the entire controller at your will. This is specially important to me since I switch regularly between PC and PS and it's quite bothersome to have to be aware of differences between platforms. On the Warframe end select the button layout to PS4, even tough the game is recognizing the controller as an Xbox one. Works wonders for me, despite the fact the most of the time the keybindings for showing the map and waypointing switch, making me sometimes wrongfully place a waypoint when trying to open the map by pressing the D-Up button. But that's about it.
  20. I'm trying to not set myself up for faillure, but if they don't do a surprise release of the first phase of crossave (maybe opt-in, very controlled or something like that) I'll be a bit disappointed. In my head it's a 30-70% chance split between that, which would be fantastic, or a very informed reveal of how it would work and what the actual plans are in its implementation. Anyway just the fact that its coming closer already has me hyped. Hopefully I'll be able to play Warframe on the go by next christmas.
  21. Prime Orokin Ballas will come out of a portal and reveal the Narmer Ballas we *spoiler* has been an evil impostor from another eternalist dimension and he's been our real daddy all along. All of the sufering since the fall of the Orokin Empire was unnecessary had he been here with us alongside mommy instead of leaving to get some spoiled milk, some new pink shorts and 'taters for dinner, and get lost in a time paradox. And he's very, very sorry but he will be here for us from now on and everyone will be happy forever. Yes, that's about it for sure.
  22. Funny enough I find that DE were way more generous with Plague Star and Scarlet Spear, normal events which "for some reason" *puts tinfoil on* are likely/confirmed to never return. (Though I genuinely believe SS is truly hard to re-run due to all the issues with the dual-squad system, of which name I forgot). One would think a 10-year anniversary event with all the marketing push DE has put into it would have the same kind of opportunities for actual goodies those events had. But I guess DE learned their lesson from all the forma and arcane-stocking players did then.
  23. Greetings. The game has many extraction methods depending on the game mode/content island, which can be not only confusing, but rather confusing for new players (Imo this kind of stuff is one of the primary factors in low player retention). So, how does Extraction work now? ( v see spoiler bellow v ) So, how could extraction work, if it was universal across all content? Here's my suggestion, but feel free to improve on it, constructively. Starchart Endless Missions (Ex. Survival): Host arrives at extraction: A warning message will be presented to other players telling them that someone is at extraction. No timer starts. The host may manually initiate the timer the same way we can at the Zariman elevator - but extraction is not instant, it merely starts the 1-minute timer to give other players a chance to safely extract. Only those not at extraction at the end of this timer will face a host migration. Non-host arrives at extraction: A warning message will be presented to other players telling them that someone is at extraction. No timer starts. The player may manually and instantly extract by manually triggering the extracting sequence, much like it's done at the Zariman Elevator. If the Host is not at extraction the mission can proceed as normal with those who decided to stay. Starchart Finite Missions (Ex. Capture): Host arrives at extraction (same as above): A warning message will be presented to other players telling them that someone is at extraction. No timer starts. The host may manually initiate the timer the same way we can at the Zariman elevator - but extraction is not instant, it merely starts the 1-minute timer to give other players a chance to safely extract. Only those not at extraction at the end of this timer will face a host migration. Non-host arrives at extraction (same as above): A warning message will be presented to other players telling them that someone is at extraction. No timer starts. The player may manually and instantly extract by manually triggering the extracting sequence, much like it's done at the Zariman Elevator. If the Host is not at extraction the mission can proceed as normal with those who decided to stay. Open Areas (Ex. Plains of Eidolon/Duviri): Players still have an option to open the pause menu and "Leave Squad" - regardless of hosting status. However, while non-hosting players can instantly leave the squad, the host leaving the squad issues a 30 seconds to 1 minute timer to give other players in the session enough time to either leave the squad by their choice and end up in a session alone, or to teleport to the entrance gate and instantly extract safely. Host arrives at entrance (same as above): A warning message will be presented to other players telling them that someone is at extraction. The Zariman: Host arrives at entrance (same as above): A warning message will be presented to other players telling them that someone is at extraction. The player may manually and instantly extract by manually triggering the extracting sequence, same as it currently works. If the Host is not at extraction the mission can proceed as normal with those who decided to stay. - - - - - That's basically my view on this subject. I believe this would not be an easy feat for the dev team, as I suspect this has spaghetti code factored into it, but it would not be the biggest change this game has seen, and even if hard in my view it would still be worth it in the long run. One note: I left Railjack out on purpose. I can see how we could come up with something similar to what I suggest above, but this game mode is different enough that I don't believe we could just copy/paste said method and call it a day. A justified adaptation would be necessary in this case, hopefully not too different from the rest and safeguarding the team at large. Dah-dap, and sho-lah, Tenno.
  24. Yeah, been there, done that. Have you ever gone after the host just to have a host migration right at the elevator door, because you were 0.2 seconds slower than the Host? Because I have. More than once. Or during Exterminate when the teleport orb waypoint is duplicated and misleads players into going to a fake extraction 300 meters away from the actual teleport point. I fully stand by what I said, and I know what I'm talking about.
