I look forward to it though. - new enemies look absolutely bonkers, and so does Ballas. I may have to bring an Ignis for these uglies lol. - surprised about the new frame, I know a lot of people will be wondering why they went for an Eidolon frame when Revenant was already related to them. also curious what a certain Revenant-hater will think about this... but it looks like he's coming with a Scythe, and I really hope this one is properly sized and not a weird axe-sized pick instead. - Sentient Armor and Bow look awesome, look forward to trying those out! - Volt's 2nd deluxe... ehh.... I'll see how it looks in game first before deciding, the concept art doesn't look great but a 3d model might. - Protea's deluxe is pretty nice, might be gettign that if no good Tennogen for her drops. - Baruuk's deluxe is pretty weird, does that black veil cover his face all the time? DOES HE HAVE NO FACE?! I like the Hindu Deity vibe but I'm probably gonna stick with my Bedouin and Shiraan Tennogen. might get it if the in-game model turns out well. - Nidus Prime looks pretty great too, not as decorative as his deluxe but it probably suits his overall theme better as he is. and then there was the gameplay reveal. holy void that was awesome, and I have a new favourite Grineer now.. Will I need to designate my Switch profile as my main one since my PC one still technically exists? Will it default back to the original profile on PC and render everything I did on Switch null and void? I know the latter wouldn't make sense, but until the details come out I remain cautiously optimistic at most. ...Also I can't help but wonder just how many problems Switch players are going to have in terms of hardware load speed keeping up. Did i miss something? Usually at Tennocon DE has a demo with clear implications for the future of the game and then maybe a vague trailer. Is this new gameplay a new mode? just a quest? PvP? PvEvP? DE has clearly just been making the frames of this year be replacements for other frames that DE can’t/won’t rework. Sevagoth is a better Valkyr. Yarelis very likely going to end up better than Hydroid after she gets some proper buffs. And given the circumstances revolving around Revenant regarding his thematic issues and how those impacting is abilities and why they even came up in the first place. They decided to just make a new Sentient themed frame to replace Revenant. It’s kinda funny because I was joking a few weeks ago that the new frame they’d announce at Tennocon was going to be a Nyx replacement. I was close. I really hope it won't end up as another railjack tennocon, because I want to believe and honestly, I want to stop being salty. Probably it's just a few cinematic bits and nothing much will change, I probably want to hope for too much, so I just stop myself here. However the self-irony with the 2019 turning into 2021 was nice and it showed the self-consciousness about the new war on the side of DE. (PSN)Vexx757 Posted July 18, 2021 Share Posted July 18, 2021 Tennocon was kind of underwhelming (SPOILER ALERT) Before you fly off the handle just read on. Specifically I'm talking about the last part of Tennocon, don`t get me wrong Nidus prime look sick and the new war quest looks cool. You play as two enemy factions and Teshin with different camera angels and gameplay but just think about it for a second, we only know three things, Nidus prime, cross-save and the new war, for me I don`t really like Nidus that much because two of his abilities are stationary abilities only his 1 and 2 I like (i`m more looking forward to Harrow prime), cross-save doesn`t affected me and the new war quest while cool is just a quest, the first experience of the quest only happens once and that’s it. So, for the 1h 11 mints and 44 seconds we only know three things no it`s less than that coz there was 16 minis of nothing however, there is somethings that were good which is the possibilities from what we saw from the new war gameplay. From what we saw their could be game-modes that can be made out of it, the best part was watching Tenshin (with the ken tucky bucket helmet) in action, not only he could change the element of his blades but depending on the element he switched to would also change the stance which is what I suggested for a samurai warframe I came up with last year, Tenshin`s gameplay alone can open up possibilities for future warframes to get his gameplay mechanics but weather DE will think to do this is a different story. One thing I hope is for operator gameplay similar to the war within quest, maybe some new abilities and mechanics. Yeah, I'm slightly worried about that. I copied my account to Switch too, lost Excalibur Prime and a TON of mods, "because fairness reasons." Then discovered I don't enjoy using a controller at all, and stopped trying to progress it as Gauss came out. I might even have built Guass as I copied it but since he didn't exist in the Switch version at the time I got a bunch of weird placholder items instead. Or something, I don't even remember correctly. I'm going to be "very unhappy" if the Cross Save means I lose Excalibur Prime and all the Tennogen stuff that doesn't exist on the console versions for whatever reason. OnO Plus I'm concerned about the part where the PC version has traditionally been used as the "beta" branch so they can throw out a ton of stability and balance hotfixes, then once they've got the "Buggy, Broken and Imbalanced" down to a reasonable level they make the Stable Build for the consoles from that. This can't happen if all... what like seven versions have to be on the same build at all times. But people wanted Cross-play. Now they'll get it. "Monkey's Paw!" SIDE NOTE: there is also a prime frame that the sentient repurposed (for what reason I dont know) , this frame is very unique in its style .
