The Origin System’s favorite aquatic event is back again for a limited time! Dog Days is here to help you fend off the last days of summer heat, so don your inner tube, equip your ultra-powered Soaktron, pick up some all new Lob Blobs, and re-enter the beach arena! Complete four limited-time Tactical Alerts to earn new Rewards, Credits and Nakak Pearls that you can use to trade for items in Nakak’s exclusive Dog Days offerings, found in her Beach Toys stock on Cetus. NEW REWARDS In addition to returning favorites, like Captura Scenes and the Soaktron Rifle Skin, new rewards have arrived with a splash! Beachcomber Domestik Drone A new Domestik Drone is also available to earn from Mission 4 of the Tactical Alerts, decked out in beach-combing colors! Floofs Decorate your Orbiter or Dormizone with new Dog Days Kubrow and Kavat Floofs available to earn from the Tactical Alerts and Nakak’s Beach Toys wares — whose beachball coloring is sure to remind you of all the fun in the sun you had during Dog Days this year! Samia Towsun Syandana Adorn your Warframes with the new Samia Towsun Syandana available to earn from Nakak’s Beach Toys, a sizzling take on the classic Towsun Syandana design! HOW TO PLAY From Navigation, select the Dog Days Tactical Alert missions under the Event tab to be transported to a tropical arena that shifts from day to night. The Dog Day’s arena is a water munitions-only zone, which means there are no Mods, Buffs (Invigorations and Archon shards), Companions, or Abilities. Winning a match comes down to who can drench the opposing team the most (Tenno vs. Grineer) before the timer runs out. If your Soaktron runs out of water you can refill it by passing through water refill stations dotted around the map. Another thing you will find at some of these stations are the new Lob Blobs! New Weapon: Lob Blobs Drench your enemies with this new Dog Days exclusive Secondary weapon, Lob Blobs. Collect these water-filled balloons from select refill stations and start lobbing those blobs! You can bomb swathes of mobs with these heavy-hitting weapons -- so pick your targets carefully! Tactical Alerts Each Tactical Alert mission rewards the following once completed. We have also increased the amount of Nakak Pearls earned per mission compared to previous appearances! Mission 1: Splash And Dash Sigil + 50,000 Credits +25 Nakak Pearls (previously 10) Mission 2: Beach Kavat Floof 50,000 Credits + 50 Nakak Pearls (previously 20) Mission 3: Rucksack Kubrow Floof + 50,000 Credits + 75 Nakak Pearls (previously 30) Mission 4*: Beachcomber Domestik Drone + 50,000 Credits + 100 Nakak Pearls (previously 50) *Replaying Mission 4 earns you Nakak Pearls for each enemy you soak to smithereens. Right now it's more "easier/efficient" to play solo than coop since other Tennos can't "steal" your kills over there. It's nice of you to increase the one time only rewards, but all those pearls still don't add up to a single roller floof. Basically, the problem is not in the players themselves, but in the boring and monotonous gameplay. We are offered to go through dozens (and even hundreds) of times the same mission. Well, you can already leech through the whole game, so it wouldn't be anything new... (Say hello to all those Wubob players) In no gamemode does is matter who's doing the killing blow, but in this. And the killing blow is deciding whichever you get: the reward you are playing for or just wasting your time. It's just plain annoying to get an enemy down to <15% of health just for another player to "steal the kill" and then searching for other on the other end if the island. Ok, so this is very misleading. 100 Nakak Pearls are awarded only for the first completion of the mission 4. On any subsequent win you get only 50. So that's horrible.
