  1. In fact, I think the Transference distortion was a great condition. It made the mission slightly more difficult without drastically raising the difficulty to an impossible point - and I liked the fact that, for once, we sometimes have to revive people without the invulnerable-invisible OP state of the operator. The linimus ? I think those dudes were there last week too and I barely noticed them tbh, I wasn't sure what they did and I had to read the condition afterward to get it. They're negligible tbh. Regarding the weapon/warframe choices, honestly that's not too bad. 1- You have the full week to forma & test the weapons & warframe it proposes 2- This game mode is the endgamest there is to Warframe as of today, if you try it with 2 warframes and 10 weapons that's on you 3- It gives a great opportunity to see and test something outside of the meta. It's obvious they'll continue going that way with the future updates, the only other option is to drastically nerf all the meta options and you'd all cry just as much about your beloved Wisp, Revenant, Saryn & Mesa being nerfed into the ground. So prepare yourself if you really want to partake in those game modes - and it's perfectly fine if you don't, considering it doesn't bring exclusive rewards. 4- You can skip one, so it reduces this "constraint" to "free bonuses", you just need to take the Meta garbage of your choice and you can ignore the other 3 loadout slots as you already did during Sorties & normal Netracells. 5- If you didn't get the hint with the "Mastery ranking" that the goal is for you to test & play as many weapons as possible, even emphasized with the Duviri's Circuit and you still haven't started playing more than 1 Warframe and 1 weapon, that's also on you.
  2. It's definitely not useless. The morons only considering lvl 9999 enemies can be safely ignored, this is non-existent content. Noctua is an awesome weapon. Not every weapon needs to be a room-clearing one.
  3. I've gone 1x Casting Speed and 4x Ability Strength because I like stupid numbers
  4. Mostly DPS with 2x Tome mods (energy regen and power), considering you can have both buffs permanently maxed with how quick this weapon is to charge and the speed of its alt fire, pretty insane
  5. Disabling one parameter is more than enough to gain full control on your performances. Take the Warframe with Exalted weapon of your choice and that's it (Mesa, Baruuk, Excal... even Khora considering you just need to use one of the 3 melee weapon as stat stick). Or one of the numerous meta weapon. That's more than enough to clear the Elite Archimedea really I'm not really sure what to think of the argument "pieces of gear you don't own". We're talking about the highest content of the game aimed at vets or people with highly-optimized stuff. At this point if you only have 2 warframes and 5 weapons, that's on you, so either you work toward building more things or you're satisfied with the current situation and you're free to not engage with Deep Archimedea max difficulty - keeping in mind it doesn't give any exclusive reward, just better odds than Netracells that has no restriction. Imo the fact it can roll stuff you don't have is better than the Circuit's Randomizer, that incentivizes you toward outright deleting garbage weapons to push the odds in your favor.
  6. You're not forced, you can ignore a few of the presets and you'll still have the max rewards (considering the Vosfor reward sucks).
  7. We complain loudly for bad things, we have to show appreciations for nice ones. This is double-cool : announcement in advance and nice fixes/buffs. Thanks for Pageflight, that's greatly appreciated !
  8. Yup, came here to post that. Being stuck with a terrible setup all week sucks, the potential daily reset was a nice opportunity to come again tomorrow and see if it's better or not. But I guess that ship has sailed too, as Tragedy's tragedy.
  9. Will this fix Garuda, or does the stealth undocumented change you've made to her is that she has 0 penetration nowadays anyway, so at best it'll only fix the Talons missing enemies in plain sight ?
  10. One huge topic is easier to ignore than 500 smaller ones
  11. Yes, but the different strategy to deal with Eximii has to be different than the strategy used to kill the rest. Otherwise it just creates one meta, and everything else immediately becomes useless. Using exclusively CC on everything already comes with a downside : the lack of kills (or slower rate). Fewer drops, orbs, on-kill buffs, mission progress depending on mission type. Nuke have none of those issues - usually a Nuke build comes with the downside of being glass cannon in most games, this doesn't exist in Warframe anymore, so Nuke warframes have tons of pros and 0 con. Even energy management, which could also be a limiting point to Nuke builds, no longer exists. In my opinion, Eximii shouldn't have been totally immune to CC. They should have been coming with different strategies around them, and a "good example" of special unit is the Nox. You can bruteforce it through nuke builds or emptying your gun erratically, but the best strategy is to focus his weakpoint to get rid of him quickly. If all Eximii had the Nox treatment, CC builds would be good. That's also why Sentients were a nice addition back in the days. You could have a single-element weapon to deal with 99% of enemies in a given mission, but Sentients through their adaptation pushed you toward a different strategy.
  12. Yup, I remember the days when you could play a CC Warframe instead of a nuke or support (also dead nowadays) one. Those were cool times. This garbage trend started in Orb Vallis, with some units being randomly immune to some abilities, I remember I struggled with Mag there sometimes because it was not clearly stated anywhere. Then they formalized it with Eximii, against whom your only option is to nuke them down, so naturally, nuke builds have a sharp edge. What I'm sad about is that we lost options. We could play CC, Nuke, or Support back in the days. Nowadays, only two types exist in the Meta : Nuke and Punchbags (warframes with so much EHP you can ignore everything, but that need weapons to kill as they have sub-par abilities otherwise). I guess we can add a third type that we would call "Wisp", containing one Warframe, as she is one of the few remaining supports that's not totally useless. Even nowadays, I try to take a few Supports out of the closet here and there, but you feel so #*!%ing useless with the unlimited energy and most warframes having defensive buffs that it's a frustrating experience. And now, DE has written themselves into a corner. Either they like their new approach and a good third of Warframes will forever be shelved. Or these Warframes will be reworked to be Nuke copies of existing Warframes. Or... they have to do a complete 180 and allow CC Warframes to exist, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
  13. I think the point is that it's always good to have options. Eximii units should be tankier version of enemies with special feats (such as the flame explosion or cold aura), but as it stands today, the only way to deal with them is through raw damage. This is what effectively killed CC warframes in favor of nuke builds. The "immune to everything" crowd just sucks the fun up of most the Warframes.
  14. DE has absolutely no direction when it comes to balance. They can nerf a Warframe that deals a bit too much damage but let the biggest offenders be for years. They can nerf Dante's Overguard overnight "because it's too OP" but somehow Revenant still exists with complete & permanent invulnerability forever. They can tweak armor reduction abilities here & there, and the next Warframe they'll release will have full armor strip in one button press. They can complain about AoE warframes and bury Support / CC warframes into the ground. They'll cap the Corrosive Status to 80% to not make it too OP, then years later create a Shard that allows it to full armor strip. That's schizophrenia at this stage.
  15. Corrupted Mods are not a problem, Developers trying to balance and overkill some Frames is
  16. Let me guess, camping in a room where LoS is not a parameter to account for ? Can you tell us the result of your experiment in Albrecht Laboratories' Exterminate or Alchemy ?
  17. I guess they changed that from Circuit's randomizer because it doesn't feel good that the best approach is to sell your non-meta weapons to improve the odds of getting meta weapons in the picks.
  18. Even a garbage Warframe will have 80% usage the first week it's there.
  19. At DE, there is very likely a very thick wall blocking the Line of Sight between the Devs and whoever's communicating to be honest. The last time it was with Nora, with the infamous "3 evergreen additional challenges" that were finally a big ass downgrade. At this point I'm more surprised some people are still listening to whatever they say. Just stop watching their streams and boycott Tennocon, whatever they say here has 0 value (hello Railjack announcement).
  20. Do the math https://www.warframe.com/buyplatinum It heavily depends on which pack you intend on chain-buying with your theoretical trillion dollars though, but it's likely more profitable to outright buy DE and force them to give you those
  21. Honestly I just don't understand the need to nerf it right away. Most of the recent frames they've released recently are broken in their own way (outright invulnerable, dealing a truckload of damage, full armor strip on 1 button,...). It's not as if "balance" is some goal they try to achieve. Dante was not as "broken" as half the roster nowadays, I just don't get it. Dante could clean rooms, yup, now he can't anymore, so what ? We can still play the 20 or so Warframes that can still clean rooms upon using a single ability. What's the aim ?
  22. What I've got for normal Archimedea with max difficulty was 1x Shard (not Tauforged), 1x Crescendo, 1x Melee Adapter (rofl, and that was the last reward). That's not that bad, but definitely not something to write home about for something that took extra work and quite a long.
  23. I had both the Stalker (Alchemy) and Syndicate squad (Disruption) spawn in Archimedea. While I think the Syndicate Squad is a pretty minor issue, Stalker can definitely be annoying.
  24. I'll be 50/50 on that one, same as for Duviri. If there was no randomizer, you can be sure to see the usual suspects everywhere : Revenant, Mesa, Saryn, Wisp, Wukong, Xaku, all with Torid, Dual Ichor, KNukor or the other Flavor-of-the-Month weapon. With a randomizer option, you're forced to see something else. If I was given the option to bring whatever I wanted ? I would have picked Xaku for the usual easy mode, helped by teammates using other meta warframes for an easy win as we can see in Netracells (that are not even hard to begin with). But yesterday I've made a run with a War/Ignis Harrow (I've been blessed by the Gods), accompanied by a Nekros I hadn't seen for ages and Revenant/Mesa (my boys were also blessed by the gods or ignored those bonuses). It's refreshing. I understand it can be frustrating - I would have complained as much if my choice was Grendel/Ivara/Yareli and garbage weapons. But it also brings interesting opportunities to take some stuff out of the closet.
