So...what exactly is Soulframe about?

I tried to register the next day after tennocon, but I didn't get any confirmation email and now
it just says  "This e-mail is already registered", so I hope this is only a bug and DE will fix it soon.

Here's an interview with some more details that weren't obvious during Tennocon:

... basically, we should be able to see (and hopefully play!) a rough (pre-)alpha build this year.  Thematically, it's heavily inspired by Princess Mononoke and The Neverending Story, being about the clash between nature and industrialization (I hope Steve and Geoff saw Love, Death and Robot's "Good Hunting" -- that episode had a deep, thoughtful take on the subject as well).  But Soulframe apparently will not be like a Souls game?

Oh btw, the website works for me, and even has a built-in idiot mode.  If you get lost, spam the "submit" button a few times first and it won't scramble the cipher after three guesses anymore.  Don't ask me how I figured it out, I admit to nothing.  😇

And once you get in, the best I can figure out so far are:

Glad you can have a look around damn site errors when I click there confirm button in email, still fails when I paste the link or click it.

I'm guessing DE has had issues network wide for both Warframe and Soulframe sites and Warframe game itself.

The reason Warframe had one was because DE were at their lowest point when they started with Warframe.

The Founders Program was basically a specialised way for people to help fund/kickstart Warframe.

 

Warframe is probably enough to fund Soulframe off the bat I would assume.

People are throwing their money at DE for a founders program. They can never have too much money to develop a game. It would be silly to NOT have a founders program.

Well, when I click the confirm link again now, I also get the error page.  Maybe it went through the first time for you?  At any rate, the only thing I recall seeing the first time I confirmed was this and a small confirmation message, so you're not missing much?  Yeah, I'm gonna leave that poem to someone else...  😂

Figured it might help to start compiling some details that could help others or the DE team.

Windows PC here, I've tried both Firefox and Microsoft Edge and in both browsers I can reach the SIGN UP button but after filling in the associated fields and clicking it there is no feedback.

EDIT: I've also tried it on the Safari browser on my phone and I'm getting the same results.

I honestly thought the protagonist in Soulframe trailer was wearing the Baruuk Meroe helmet at the end sequence (maybe something like a Meroe character from ages past?). I know it's a little different helmet now. My first thought was that it takes place on Earth, millennia before space travel, where nature and magic thrived, everything that is lacking in technological Warframe. What I'm saying is that the design seemed so similar to Warframe that I thought it was intentional and not just because it was the same design studio. It's not hard to design different cultures and styles, but If it didn't say "Soulframe," If it weren't for the animals, I would have thought it a trailer for Warframe or at least the same universe.

Good Evening DE,

Not sure if this is the correct location to submit issues with SoulFrame, but the official website doesn't currently have a discord or "contact us" button. So, I'm trying here.

Yesterday I attempted, on multiple occasions, to register my email and the preferred name I'd like to reserve before it gets taken. I never got an email verification, or any acknowledgement it successfully went through. I waited a day. Today I tried again and it currently says "Email already registered".

Still, I haven't received an email to verify either the email or the reserved name have been accepted.

If there's anyway you can help me or direct me to the direct department for this inquiry, I'd very much appreciate it.

Concerned, yet excited customer of Soulframe. Please Help.

i also can not register at all. i do the cipher and enter my stuff and upon klicking the "sign up" button it goes grey for a bit and thats it. no email, nothing.

also tried on my phone with phone data with different email and name but its the same.
