these were added to stop a problem of players rushing through the map. Doubt they'll remove them, though they have said they're looking at changing how they work.

This has been on my mind for awhile now, but will Gauss be able to rush into Meatball Grendel to launch him? You guys said they are friends and I would love to do some Corpus bowling!

One last thing, could we make it so Operator masks and hoods are separate? Or have it so when the mask is open, it's on top of our head? I want to wear my Wolf of Saturn Six mask but still be able to wear my Umbra Blindfold.

Are you planning on adding some additional info in the end mission screen? Like damage done (in absolute values, not %), damage received (in absolute values), healing done, caches found, spy vaults hacked/failed etc?

Also, about sortie rewards - maybe give players a choice of 1 out of 3 random rewards (regardless of how many people are in the squad) instead of one at random? Like, sometimes you don't really want to get catalysts/reactors but the game keeps on giving them to you.

Also, arcanes. We all know that each arcane has its own sign. So why can't we have these exact signs showing on the screen as buff icons when they trigger instead of common arcane icon (which looks like an old radio or something)?

You've mentioned increasing solo spawn rates. Could we perhaps have a toggle for it? So that people can opt in and out. Or maybe a slider for spawns equal to 1-4 players.

Personally I would love an increase, especially for Sanctuary Onslaught (currently can't make it past zone 8-9 due to not enough enemies).

And of course an update on Empyrian timeline would be nice 🙂

Personally I think we've had a decent amount of content this year, definitely more than most games get in a year. Keep up the amazing work!

I got some questions: 

1. What’s the current step towards companions rework? You mentioned it on last Devstream or one of the last. Kavats  and Kubrows need more love 💖

2. Any plan on Phorid rework? It’s one of the easiest boss fights (along with the Sergeant). I haven’t met the new zealot boss but from what I read you have done a very good work there.  Can’t wait!

3.  Could we have more louadout slots? We’re getting lots of frames but the amount of slots is still the same when you’re MR 27 and you have to mess with the slots when new frames drop. 

After this, I’ll follow you on the Devstream.

Will there be any new focus schools in the future, or any additions/changes to focus to allow those of us that maxed all 5 trees to spend our points or use our ever growing eidolon shard stockpile on. 

Will there ever be a farmable source of Umbra forma other than once per nightwave?

Also, can we get a Steam achievement sync or on the next mainline, have the game check and unlock retroactively for those of us that care.  Joyride has been broken since November 8, 2018.  :smile:

OPERATOR FASHION:

DE, i'd like to ask if we are going to get a way to either have more operator face loadouts, or if there could be a system that lets you accept the changes to your operator or discard the changes, so we could have more freedom with operator fashion framing, so people don't have to be scared of being unable to remake their old operator exactly. 

(Personally, i'd like to change my operator from male to female, but i'm not gonna until there's a sure way to restore the exact look we had before if we screwed up while making the new one, aka, keep or discard look/ loadouts for operator face and voice and alike.)

lovely 😄 ember and vauban reworks, super hyped about that!

on a different note, any chance for archguns to get a fully functional loadout slot? especially on worse connections and more demanding game moments its pretty hard to get your archgun out. could you maybe atleast make it client side? it shouldnt matter that much to host what weapon you are using compared to operator/warframe swapping.
also i realy love the idea of  hiding loading screens behind some animation or little thing to doodle with like moving with your ship around while you load? any chance of this getting redone with empyrion? all the new amazing space tilesets should be wonderfull 😄 also on that, could you add manual extraction option to cetus and fortuna? i'd love if i could get out of cetus without going into menus because sometimes its more satisfying to  simply walk back and press x than press esc and leave... another thing im wondering is if there's any plans to further clean up the ui, for example there's sometimes too many clicks neccesarry that could simply be an easy mouseover tooltip thing like with mission nodes -  base mission/fissure/invasion/nightmare mode/sortie all stacked on one node sometimes is annoying to deal with, even with just one extra mission on single node, imo its completely unnecessary to have the whole screen fade out to display 2 buttons that could simply appear as a tooltip on hover over or atleast please mitigate the need to have clickthrough things have buttons in opposite sides , all could easily be bundled tighter together with ui looking a lot smoother. 

does steve got any new cool graphical goodies for us to see? i realy like how game basically got a facelift with partly implementing new lighting engine stuff and metallic reflections getting redone... could we see more light stuff coming out of light sources not light nodes because sometimes it just goes bad,  i like to mess around on my orbiter a lot and just walking around orbiter light doesnt go how it should, operator getting shadows where it should be lit  pretty well according to  surrounding lights, hoping new orbiter gets this sorted out...

i really appologise for rambling, its late in my neck of the woods, love the game and give you all full support to achieve best you can, in the time you want

2. Where's that Option to always sprint? Steve said he was going to make a Sprint-Always-On option. That would be really useful for me. Just make it an option in the menu, because I tend to turn it off when I try to roll otherwise. Please?

Will you ever separate some of the blur and distortion effects from being bundled/held hostage with Motion Blur & Depth of Field?
Currently you can't for instance have that lovely Predator cloak distortion effect without suffering through either needing glasses because someone keeps smearing Vaseline on my screen on anything not in whatever the game "thinks" should be in focus, or by thinking that I should be suffering from a migraine and concussion at the same time whenever I turn my head.

I have a fantasy of turning the Void, which currently feels utterly redundant and forgotten, into a sort of roguelite dungeon run type thing, where you go in as usual with your stuff, but then once there, it leads to going from room to room, with mini bosses at the end before an option to leave with the loot you got so far, or continue down another set. And you find temporary buffs or penalties in risky altars in some rooms and secrets that last for as long as you remain in the Void (none of that 60second buffs like Lua), and you can run into shopkeepers, people who are looting and willing to part for their stuff for some price (say, Baro surprised to meet you while artifact hunting).

Also hopefully you'll spice up Plains & Vallis with more dynamic encounters in the wild, not just spawning/patrolling enemies, but wildlife interactions, some guerilla forces from Fortuna or Ostrons who might be doing some little side gig and you can help them, perhaps returning sellers or fishers/miners who might be willing to part on some of their bounties if you'll escort them back to the entrance of Cetus/Fortuna.
And put ammo recovery dispensers inside every tent and safezone on the Plains/Vallis where you can select new bounties.

Looking forward to hearing more on how Nightwave will improve with S3, season/series 2 has been more tolerable than S1, and that whole Emissary Derelict stuff has been a fine optional additional way of earning standing while actually fitting in with the story of this season.

Would like to hear more about the solo experience planned for Railjack/Empyrean, hopefully you're not limited to cloaking about and can also engage in some kind of combat, I remember someone on a stream mentioning perhaps giving the Cephalon AI some optional combat ability to take control of a turret for instance.

-Another thing: cooperative door opening. More often than not, it has nothing to do with cooperation, but instead makes us wait for another person to spam the interaction button.

-Yet another thing related to movement are warframe abilities, which prevent our frames from moving and/ or firing weapons.

While understandably some ultimate ability usage should definitely limit it (f.e. Mesa's Peacemaker, Revenant's Danse Macabre, Volt's Discharge, etc. - these make sense),
quite often it applies to less significant ones.
The period of casting is too short to make it a significant balancing factor, ending up as a design which makes the usage of these minor abilities much less fluid and ultimately less fun.

Q: Would you consider limiting the amount of abilities impeding movement and weapon firing to an absolute minimum and remaking existing ones?

As an example - Volt's Shock and Mesa's Ballistic Battery:

-Majority of the 6 main Syndicate rank icons are available as sigils, whereas all, representing Ostron, Quills, Ventkids and both Solaris are not.

-Since looking at the minimap in a video game is a skill in itself...

Q: Could we get some minimap information upgrades? F.e. Different icons for eximuses, different icons for minor and major units, etc.

As an example, the Infested Tumor visibility is awesome:
Radar  ...something like that, but for specific units would be awesome.

 

-While seeing all of the yellow, orange and red critical damage numbers is really satisfyng, very often they obscure a lot of vision. It would be great to still be able to see them, while making enemies more visible.

Honestly, the changes that you are recommending are close to splitting hairs. I actually prefer the current version of Warframe game mechanics. Q1: Emperyean progress will probably be covered in the devstream along with game engine upgrades. Q2: I think running up elevator shafts is kind of silly. From a "realistic" perspective, elevator doors open when the lift reaches the level of the floor. Why would the corpus engineer their elevators so Warframes can run more freely in their ships? Q3: Cooperative door opening is being used for a reason. The reason being is so new players don't feel even slower than they already are while playing co-op. Imagine being a new player and not even get a chance to practice parkour to get close to the objective. If I didn't have co-op door blockers, I would be completing missions under 2 mins that is 2 mins of gameplay for new player. Q4: Impeding movement doesnt bother me, it makes the game feel for realistic or somehow based on some fictional laws of Warframe mechanics. Q5: More sigils would make Ostron/Solaris United standing spew out even more standing for less gameplay. Currently, these syndicates have multiple ways of earning standing. Why do you need more? Q6: I guess you can add more standing gain for Simaris, but it would be very insignificant in my opinion. All it would do is make you play less for same rewards. Q7: The space flu is a game mechanic that has been put on hold. It really is a matter of preference, I like my space flu cyst on my Warframes. Q7: Marking eximus units sounds like a hud overload. Imagine seeing  an array of red shapes triangles,squares, and circles. New players are going to look at that and say "WTF, I can't even read the radar/map its too complicated". Q8: Why would want to turn damage numbers half-way off? Either you like them or you don't. So On or Off is perfectly fine for options. It would be like wanting to see half a movie.

My personal question: Whats the future of connecting Warframe players ? and what are the developers end goal for this?
