  1. You need to turn them off and then back on again. Channeled abilities (and abilities that refresh duration) "snapshot" when cast. If you're running Molt Augmented on Gyre for instance, it can be worthwhile to jump into an out-of-bounds zone when you hit your max stacks in order to refresh your buff. Other frames, like Equinox (Day) with her 3 have it easier. It's also easier to track with that example, as you can see the bonus stay at a fixed percent, then increase when you recast it.
  2. I admit I don’t play it much now that I’ve amassed all the incarnons. That said, the circuit gave me a reason to go back and build some old items and then rank them up, catalyze them, forma them, and complete their builds. I probably only have a few truly zero build trash items left. So when I do play circuit, I might get one. But rarely more than that. I would have kept going and built out my plasma sword and heat daggers, for example, but I got all the incarnons and I have other things to do. Also, you don’t have to stay in the game long enough to approach level cap. I usually dip out after 4-8 rounds. I don’t like playing in the same mission for that long because this game is so unstable and you risk losing all of your progress.
  3. Stalker needs an unsubscribe button. All he does (after a certain point) is lock the doors and block other assassins, the actually rewarding ones, from spawning for a little while.
  4. Looks great! I'd play it. Eh... I get rid of Paralysis. I have no need of finishers with (current) Valkyr, and Ripline is dear to my heart. Even with its many flaws. My favorite Helminth on her is Wrathful Advance. Some might call it overkill mobility, but the stance for her 4 is so rigid that I'm always craving more movement.
  5. I use a pretty squishy shield gate setup for her (Brief Respite, Rolling Guard, and two augur mods), and it's enough to stay alive in Steel Path. The 3 is a safety net if I need it, but it almost never triggers. I should add that I've been pairing her with a radioactive Epitaph build for spammable CC. It helps take the pressure off. Dagath is a fantastic Disruption frame. She's got snares, defense stripping, a safety net, and massive damage amplification. She's too reliant on agreeable terrain to be qualified as a general nuker, but she's excellent focused DPS against applicable enemies. She's another great recent frame.
  6. DE doesn't want frames to give up abilities that are largely considered their signature abilities, like Rhino's Ironskin or Frost's Globe. While what a frame's "signature ability" might be is always going to be at least partially subjective, I think with Gauss it's pretty clearly his 1.
  7. You can't be serious. Blaze Artillery is incredibly powerful. If DE were to replace Dispensary with a different Protea power for her subsume, it would much more likely be the Grenade Fan, only with the shield option removed. That said, I don't see them making any changes to Dispensary. It's not easily abused, as it is: already nerfed through Helminth requires significant strength investment (often at odds with duration) requires significant duration investment (often at odds with strength) requires remaining in one area for maximum effect To get back on topic, sure. Get rid of Helminth TS, if for no other reason than to limit my exposure to the worst sound effect in the game.
  8. I'm hoping the recent addition of Tennokai leads DE to address how exalted weapons in general have fallen far behind. We've also seen online discussion between Pablo and Reb indicating that neither of them seem to be satisfied with statsticks... which are tertiarily related. So maybe there will be an exalted/statstick overhaul eventually. Fine by me. I'd still probably keep it in a normal spot though, as PSF is the best survivability mod in the game. This one would likely be the most complicated. Animation overhauls and such.
  9. The single worst grind in WF, and it's not even skippable with plat. DE talking about fixing the new player experience, yet oddly silent on these bad boys.
  10. I just ran the Grineer survival incursion with Dread and it has the same issue. Test it again. Toggle sprint on, hold W, fire, and watch your character's animation. They'll jog slowly for a moment or two before fully sprinting. If this speed reduction existed before Dagath, it was much shorter in duration or much less pronounced. I'm a shameless Bramma spammer, and I definitely noticed a massive speed reduction when Abyss of Dagath arrived.
  11. My feedback thread about it either got deleted or merged with another one. When I tried to find similar reports on Google, there's a link to a thread that doesn't exist anymore. So take that for what you will. It has been an issue since the Dagath update in October.
  12. Agreed. DE keeps pushing us into content where gating, invisibility, or excessive DR are the only valid survivability options. My Oberon with decent armor got one-tapped by the Effervo bounty rank 4 or 5 boss, not even steel path or 60 eyes version, once my shields went down. I've got 5 armor shards in him and he had the grass armor boost. I'm no Oberon pro. His build is umbral and kind of all over, so I could probably focus it more. My point is that HP healing is kind of useless for most frames when we get to a certain point in level scaling or difficulty. And that difficulty threshold is where DE keeps pushing us with new content. I don't think I want game modes where I'm dependent upon others. When people clamor for raids and the holy trinity archetypes (DPS, healer, tank), I shudder. I don't want to depend on others in this game. I don't want to have to maintain a clan or spend time in recruit chat. It's just not for me. So I like that support in this game kind of functions like support in Diablo. All characters/frames are capable of DPS. I do think DE should examine certain support frames and make changes as needed though. Most don't need massive reworks. Trinity would be fine with doubled base duration on her 3 and 4, along with animation changes for her casting so she's not constantly locked in place. But that's just one example.
  13. I appreciate the thought, but this isn't the problem I'm having. It's after firing, not before, that I'm massively slowed down. Seriously, give it a try with the bramma or any other bow. It almost feels like that horrific slowing effect from a frost eximus. And I use parkour quite a bit, but there are times when sprinting for a moment between bullet jumps and slides makes sense in terms of speed and in terms of being easy on ye olde wrists.
  14. The bramma is not fine. All bows are suffering from a bug (I hope it's a bug) that prevents sprinting while "reloading." As a result, though the bramma is still quite strong, it feels terrible to use. I wish more people would talk about this. It's funny... the damage nerfs, the AOE nerfs, the ammo nerfs, none of them have turned me off of my bramma anywhere near as much as this bug/nerf. It feels legitimately terrible to use the bramma now. After every shot, I feel like I'm wading through quicksand.
  15. Didn't they do this for Styanax too, and then quickly patch it? Maybe there's hope yet.
  16. I would also add a third point: dependence on AI. This mission forces you to depend on your brothers to hold points for you and bomb objectives to a degree unmatched by Junk Run (and Sneaky Sabotage doesn't even have brothers). The AI is notoriously unreliable at pathing. You have to know how to exploit it to complete this challenge safely. Your first two points are enough to warrant changes though. Let's hope DE notices and acts on them. And honestly, the only "improvement to the Garrison Wares" that I would like to see is another Chipper dialog option that lets us buy our weekly stock for starchart resources and credits, like with Ticker. It could be locked behind rank 5. After that, we've seen all that Kahl has to offer. But I digress.
  17. For prime items/frames, most are available for around 2 years during their initial run. Then they come back for a month or so at a time somewhere down the line, usually after at least a year of being temporarily unavailable. They'll keep reappearing periodically, though as the amount of vaulted items expands over time, you're likely looking at longer and longer waits. Please note that founders' exclusive prime items will never be available again (Excalibur Prime, Lato Prime, Skana Prime). For Nightwave cosmetics and augment mods, it's unclear. They usually come back eventually, but it can take years. For Tennocon Twitch drops, Baro tends to sell them within a year.
  18. Agreed. I think DE should put more thought into how players interact with each other. Now that they're adding more and more niche arcanes, shards, and effects that depend on specific elemental procs, it's really easy for players to unknowingly wreck each other's builds.
  19. Bows do not get enough love from DE, it's true. Indeed, bows have been getting quite the opposite. Ever since the Dagath update, you can now no longer sprint while "reloading" a bow, making bows feel much slower and clunkier to use. It could be a bug, but I reported it and nothing changed. To get back on topic, I do hope for some more incarnons. The stug is certainly deserving, either of an incarnon or a lich variant.
  20. Fair enough. I just think that if DE is going to keep shoving us into higher and higher levels of enemies, every frame and ability should have some relevance there. There's always going to be a most optimal setup of course, but that doesn't absolve DE from at least trying to make every frame and ability worthwhile to some degree on high levels. No, I am not asking for a one-button nuke frame. I think it's perfectly fine that Saryn's spores or Ember's 4, for instance, become more about utility than straight up damage when you get into high levels. Yareli on release is what I'm talking about. Or old Hydroid. Or Inaros' 2nd and 3rd abilities. DE has done a lot to give reworked frames and more recent releases relevance, and I appreciate it. I just hope that this design philosophy holds true. We are well past the point of Steel Path (and equivalently leveled content) being merely for bragging rights. Too many shiny new rewards are locked behind content of this tier for the frames not to keep up.
  21. Well, some of them have lost their relevance as the meta has shifted. And certain abilities definitely need some touch-ups to stay relevant. I would say that DE has done a good job making their more recent frames relevant in the Steel Path. To be clear, yeah, any frame can make it to level cap. That has been established. But I like when we have a wide range of viable and effective frames for all content.
  22. I’m fine with it so long as DE designs and reworks frames so that they have scaling and can stay relevant in the Steel Path.
  23. Molt. I love Molt, but Pillage is Pillage. I mainly use this for archon hunt defense, but it’s been decent in the new tileset.
  24. I went with Revenant at first because the permadeath turned me off and I heard these were better solo. After a run or two with him, I felt more comfortable and switched to Saryn with Pillage. She’s never in much danger, and kills a lot faster. Her spores killing things outside the circle doesn’t really matter much when you’re solo.
