Mod drop chance booster is nice

I don't even know why we need a mod drop chance booster when the most expensive mods are growing power because no one farms it out of the silver grove specter that drops it and condition overload because it's annoying to get and only drops on uranus IIRC.  So it should be way cheaper realistically because the best polymer bundle farm is uranus and coincidentally you can also get condition overload there.  What I'm most curious about for this mod drop chance booster though is how much it increases the odds since condition overload drops at a rate of 0.02% on drekar butcher and nothing else.  If it doubles that chance it means half the time to farm the mod in theory but 0.02% to 0.04% is such a measly difference.  If it raises the drop chance by a flat 1% increase though then it becomes piss easy to farm basically any mod that isn't off silver grove specters as all those drop are mods.

we don't even know if it will affect:

  • cache rewards from sabotage or hives
  • "Unidentified items" from silve grove specters or acolytes
  • spy vault rewards

or if it will only affect drops from enemies

they did say that it will be added to sorties rewards and sometimes from baro

Lol, as if they are ever gonna listen to this. They will stick to their tried and tested formula most likely. Get ready for a specific kuva drop booster and stuff like that.

If you could get a kuva booster and that stacked with the traditional resource booster I'd def buy it.

Of course, back in the real world, that's never gonna happen.

Right, only through 'enemy drops', and 'Unidentified items' from Silver Grove still count as drops so...

the problem is precisely that. continue to break the game to improve sales. it would be to punish them with a beautiful petition. until they restore the synergy, no one buys the boost anymore, let's see how much they fix everything as before

That's an EA move not a DE move. I am wholly disappointed in this decision and the apparent reason behind it.

A lot of people are QQing about that mod booster for "p2w" or "muh profits" but consider this, even if the booster gives 100% chance boost to mod drops, that just bumps Condition Overload from a 0.02% to...0.04%, IMPRESSIVE ISN'T IT!? and that's the ONLY "meta" relevant mod that has a slim drop chance. It will probably have a greater impact for the Growing Power apothic farm, but that's as far as it goes. 
Let's see what other "amazing" and "must have" mod has a low drop chance that can benefit from the booster?
Vengeful Revenant? meaningless, it's a single sword mod meaning that is only good for fluff and swooping falcon is better.
Tempo Royale? arguably the price of that stance went down with the wolf of saturn six and while its fun to use, it isn't cleaving whirlwind, so more fluff.
Bite? sure, if you are one of those who use a pet for killing enemies! LOL
60/60 Element/Status Pet mods? same as above, irrelevant, more fluff
The booster will probably help with archwing/gun/melee mod farming as we cannot use looting abilities in space, although I personally never had problems getting mods such as Hyperion Thrusters, System Reroute, Morphic Transformer without the existence of said booster.
