armor removal was prior a scale down function.  50-> 25->12.5 ect , oberons is 50% then -> 50% so 2 cats no armor on affected enemies , in this case it will greatly help in steel path on any armor strip frame

Loving Styanax. I'm really interested in using him.

I personally love AOE and enjoy my AOE weapons and I was worried they were going to nerf them into the ground, when the only issue I personally saw with it was that some people seem to think shooting one enemy point blank was how to use it, and I agreed they shouldn't be able to do that without repercussions. So, I think the changes they made are reasonable and not too bad, and might not effect me at all even. I don't think I overuse my AoE weapons, and I don't use primed firestorm on many builds because I'd rather have damage most of the time. My only worry there is in places where ammo is limited as it is, like the Granum Void and Lephantis fight, but I'll have to see. I also worry about the ammo changes for weapons that already had ammo issues like Tenet Tetra and Kuva Komm. The Steel Path relic cracking is something people have wanted for a while as it is, so I love seeing that.

I think the Wukong changes make sense, not sure if it will do anything to his ubiquity, but at least they can't aimbot as mindlessly. I would really like to see his helminth become the Cloudwalker instead of Defy and I think that would help a lot, because I think that's the most useful part of Wukong, but that's just me.

Can't wait for Protea Deluxe! She might be my favorite frame right now and I enjoy the Tonkor too, so looking forward to getting this pack. Excited to see more fur and feathers on skins and characters too, heh. Looking forward to Xaku Deluxe when it comes out too.

Excited to see Kahl fashion, lol. And interested in the Veilbreaker quest and the growth of the drifter camp and syndicate. Also the Archon hunt sounds cool/fun, and I LOVE the idea of the shards, it can really help certain frames out in ways they need. I can already think of a few things I would do with them that will help free up a slot here and there in my builds.

Great Stream, Great job, Megan, Reb, Pablo! Nice to meat Kary and Greg. I'm really excited about where Warframe is going!

Honestly... most changes feel a bit meh to me, feels more about making things take longer than fixing the underlying reasons we end up relying on 'cheese' in missions.

The syndicate changes - 1 step forward (no need for a sigil) but 2 steps backwards in that we can't assign to individual frames so more faffing around if you want to swap frame/syndicate etc.  It's basically focus all over again where we just end up sticking with one choice because the process to change is 'long winded'

Can't say I'm overly interested in kahl and essentially another detached 'game within a game'... still seems daft that a grineer with the most simple weapons can do more damage to sentients than warframes can...

Archon shards - isn't this just another form of power creep.... on the one thing (the warframes) that probably doesn't NEED any more power creep

Should still be able to max out 4. The ally and enemy parts look to still be part of the system, they just removed the sigil equipping part of it.

They are giving Styanax away for free to every player that logs into the game once Veilbreaker launches but only for two weeks. After that you'll just have to farm him like any other frame.

Pretty sure it's just styanax is going to be given away for free for however long DE decides before it goes into a drop table somewhere. 

It's not the first frame we've had for 'free', we've had loads from quests, it's just being done slightly differently.

There was a huge issue with Reckoning on the  Steel Path bonus, which WayofWisdom said is still a problem.  The wiki description says Oberon needs 250% cumulative strip to completely remove armor from SP enemies.  So apparently Reckoning is only removing the base armor amount from the total.  IOW...

If a unit has 400 armor in normal star chart, and Reckoning has exactly enough power strength to remove 50% armor, each cast removes 200.  And two casts remove armor completely.

In SP that becomes 1000 armor (before level bonuses).  Reckoning still removes just 200 each cast, and takes 5 casts to remove all of it.

Hopefully I've got that right.  I haven't tested it or anything, and am just inferring what's happening from the wiki.

Presumably that's a bug / unintended mechanic with percentile -base- armor strip.   If so, I just hope that gets fixed first.  I don't particularly want to have to cast Sonic Fracture four times instead of once to remove armor completely.   Same deal with Caustic Strike, Gaze, Seeking Shuriken, etc.

Hmm, if I recall correctly, Oberon's armour strip works off base armour. Most abilities work on current armour. On Steel Path (where enemies have +150% armour) other frames at 100% strip will strip all enemy armour (base + bonus). Oberon at 100% strip only strips their base armour, so you have to cast it additional times for full strip.

It's not straightforward whether this is a buff or a nerf. You won't have to build for 100% strip and the strip is permanent so sufficient casts of any ability will strip full armour, but if you previously did have a 100% strip build it may now require mulltiple casts (i.e. it will be slower) on SP?
