Sorry DE, would have loved to buy it, but you didn't even fix your huge mistake with the vex armor buff. Maybe one day you will admit how badly you nerfed chroma and actually fix him.

I would have been happy to drop $80 for the PA, but with no rework in sight, its a no buy for me too.

DE seriously dropped the ball with this PA, should've got Pablo to work on Chroma in time for his PA instead of Nehza who was in a decent place before

Can't justify dropping $80 on a frame that is only useful on one mission with only one ability. 

At least the Gram and Rubico Prime are looking nice.

Exactly. Also if DE ever truly reworks chroma, there will be some people that hate it. What if I don't like it and I ended up wasting all that money? It's just too big of a risk for me. 

If they had simply reverted the scorn nerf so that he is actually a strong solo tank again then I would be all for throwing a little cash. But nothing and not even looking in his general direction? Yeah no way

Tbh, with just Intensify, Growing Power and Augur.Secrets Chroma reaches 93.41% DR against health with cold ward, 91.7% without. Given that 90/95 are the two thresholds for DR that DE is going for and you're mostly made of health I'd say he's about as tanky as any other tank frame.

Ofc, how math and practice works are different things, but still

Edit: Actually rechecking, the same build but the same buff being multiplicative for armor has 96.4%. Values are 96.05%/98.03% if you go Umbral Intensify, Blind Rage and Energy Conversion. Not an appreciable difference, honestly.

And with vitality and gladiator resolve and that power strength he only has just a hair over 10k ehp with a max vex buff. At max (from what I have found), I can almost reach 30k ehp and the build is completely awful and impractical for eidolons. So I would need 2 entirely seperate chromas.

My inaros almost has 10k ehp before you even include armor or abilities. With armor and abilities, my inaros sits at 30k ehp along with great CC, tons of healing, status immunity, reasonable energy cost, and all for 4 or 5 forma.

Also that doesn't include how restrictive chroma is to build in comparison to every other tank. Also for a tank that relies on armor, he has a super small hp pool. 100 at r0 and 300 at max. So a max vitality puts him at 740. Even ash has far more hp.

EDIT: to give you an idea how badly chromas bulk was nerfed... it takes chroma about 250 power strength to obtain a little over 95% dmg reduction. Mesa's shatter shield can reach the same reduction against projectiles and bullets with just an intensify...

Wasn't really saying wether he's a good tank or not, merely noting that now he's got around the same DR as other tank frames.

Perhaps a raise of base health to 150 would be interesting?

That would be better, but still you would be looking at only 16k ehp using the same build.

Before the nerf, you could get 80k to over 100k ehp.

They need to reverse the scorn nerf at the very least.

Edit: said 13k but forgot about resolve so it's 16k

Weapons are not supposed to be balanced around Riven Mods, but Riven Disposition is supposed to change based on popularity and base stats. This is no longer the case. New weapons released in the last two years that are not variants continue to have a disposition around "Neutral", but Prime Access after Prime Access, a meta gap expands dramatically.

This is a huge issue IMO, but I'm worried of what'd happen if you "fixed" this. If you updated it at fixed intervals--say, quarterly--it would keep some predictability to the Riven market while still shaking up the meta. 

What I'm worried about is disposition changes affecting breakpoints. For example, you need a certain % of status chance to reach 100% on stuff like the Kohm. If that disposition got adjusted, it may no longer be possible to hit the 100% status breakpoint. Weapons like that are very dependent on these stats. However, if status for shotguns gets changed, that would be less of an issue and DE should be relatively free to change stuff as they wish.

I second this.  Boosters aren't really needed for people who have been playing for awhile and have everything they want already, rivens/arcanes aside.

Trying to resist paying for PA but already did 5 bounties, got 3 Axi C3's and 0 systems. 

I bought the Accessories, armor is pretty nice, looks good on almost all frames, but the syndana is dogcrap tier. I mean, probaby the worst PA syndana, even mediocre by tennogen standarts.

So... I guess this means you've decided kick Revenant's worthless 4 under the rug and call it good? That's what it looks like from this end, anyway.

 

Chroma Prime with zero revision to his abilities? Literally nothing at all? He's still a 2-buff, 0-interaction frame. With how beautiful all of these assets look visually, seeing the frame getting no actual love to make him a prominent choice beyond flavor of the month mastery fodder, the word 'disappointing' doesn't even come close. Oh who am I kidding? It won't be a month, more like flavor of the week. 

 

The artists have been killing it at DE. But what's everyone else doing? And don't say Fortuna. The artists nailed this one, but shipping this stuff dry with no content-adjustment support whatsoever is just not cool.

I proposed some of these suggestions for Revenant when he first came out. But please, consider it.

Revenant:

Enthrall:

Could you make the ability have a toggle like vaubans mines that will make all of your thralls immune to friendly fire? Right now the current state of enthrall makes the CC and the entire point of having thralls.... pointless. They die seconds after they are created because you, or your teammates, accidentally kill them. This change would make having a squad of thralls actually possible on low level missions, and could let you control when you want to kill them for either their pillars, or to actively choose when you want your 4 to be able to kill them. (If you do implement this change, please let the toggle be castable while in his 4)

Reave:

Just a small note here. But it would really be nice for his mobility if you changed Reave back to being able to move in any direction(even allowing him to sort of fly), since the mobility it gives while in his 4 is extremely useful. Otherwise his 4 gets stuck on ledges and cannot move upwards, making you end the ability just so you can reposition. At very least it would be nice if you could give Revenant the ability to hop while in his 4, or make Reave have an arched jump if it is aimed upwards to give him that extra mobility while he is in his 4.

Thanks for the cosmetical fixes. You what know would be great as well? Gameplay fixes 😉

I got you a list:

- Fix missing progress HUD when joining into a running Interception mission
- Fix Warframe mouse sensitivity termporarily adapting to Archwing sensitivity after leaving Archwing/Operator Mode
- Fix not being able to skip the cinematic after joining into a fresh mission with team members
- Fix escort drones from Bounties/Incursions on Plains Of Eidolon being stuck on a cliff when trying to pass through Hek's Stiletto
- Fix objective marker pointing farther on than on the exit of the current tile
- Fix objective marker lag

Please!

Mask of the Revenant: Chroma Prime 23.9.0.1 is now live!

Hotdropped a fix for Plague Star Bounty rewarding the incorrect Relics.

Changes:

  • Tweaked the Incubus Syandana to rest in the mouth on the back of the Nezha Empyrean Skin. 

Fixes:

  • Fixed inability to see new Relics for Chroma/Rubico/Gram Prime in the Codex.
  • Fixed Rubico Prime icon having an incorrectly placed magazine.
  • Fixed a script error when switching loadouts in the Arsenal > Upgrade screen.

Yeah it's been this way for me 2-3 hotfixes ago, and I also lost cursor locking in-game in dual monitor mode.  I'd suggest checking stream overlay options and other windows options.  I hear there can be a conflict; I've been dealing w/ it but is annoying.
