I run a mission and ask for people. 1 or 2 people says inv and boom. Got 1-2 saryns in the group. We run a mission, and then I’m just running around the map trying to get in 1 kill but before a single bullet reaches an enemy, they all die because of Saryn. I find it a bit annoying, because they show up all the time in Hydron. I say to the saryn(S) “Ok, me and the others will want kills and to test out our new gear, so don’t spam your kill-everybody-in-the-map abilities yet okay?” And they say “Ok”, and then start spamming every one of their abilities and in the end, me and my non-Saryn friends barely did anything, with 2 percent damage dealt, 6 kills combined, and the Saryn had like 800+ kills. Whenever a saryn joins, I have to message every squad mate to dash around the map very quickly and steal the energy orbs so the saryn doesn’t wipe the whole map off the face of the earth. Even more annoying when I’m trying to get a larvling. then a random saryn joins and I don’t get even get 3 kills. It gets extremely irritating when all you want to do is test the strength of your new warframe or gear against a certain level or get XP fast, and then a Saryn just melts the whole map. WHAT DO I DO ABOUT THIS AND WHY ON EARTH DO PEOPLE USE SARYNS THEN SPAM EVERY BUTTON???

I know a special trick you can do, to stop the Saryn's and make them really upset. You want to craft Energy Pads. The large ones. This is a special trick btw, not even the wikia knows about it. Anyway, to stop those annoying Saryn's from levelling people at Hydron, where everyone knows, you go to test new weapons, you want to sneak around them, and then drop the energy pads. Those poor Saryn's won't even know what hit them! They will probably just quit the game right then and there. Then and you and the rest of the players can finally be free and actually be able to earn XP. I mean, uh test out the strong weapons. On Hydron. This won't work on ESO though, but i bet no one will use Saryn there, since what is the point right?

Aaaanyway. Put aside XP, I mean other missions in general. The chance of getting a Saryn in a public mission is 7 in 10, and I really do appreciate them in a mass high level extermination or otherwise, but when they just kill everything before I even tell them why we’re here and what we’re supposed to do. 
 

Me: Alright so we’re ging t do a zenith granum void okay so—

Saryn: No problem, I’ll kill everything *insert crown before we all come near the golden hand*

me: BRO WAIT! 

*whole squad jumps in time*

saryn: *starts levelling up the spectres and not let anybody charge the xoris.. (s? Xoris s?)

 

And something like this happened a few times

 

Me: I need to kill thrills to enrage my lich. You guys need to get rumours too so we’ll do it together and if it’s alright with you, I’ll do the thrall stabbing.

Squad: ok.

ten minutes later

 

Saryn: *Melts all the enemies and stabs every single one of the thralls*

 

 

 

And this: 

 

Me: I need to get some high level kills for this mission, but I’m a bit weak so can you guys DAMAGE them so I can finish them off?

5 minutes later

 

1-2 saryns: Melting every enemy before I could even shoot one.

I know there are many saryns that can actually cooperate with the squad and limit their army melting when necessary but the saryns that don’t just make me extremely annoyed.

No. Weapon kill give 50% affinity to warframe and since spawns are limited per round (hidron) you will need more rounds to reach rank 30 with weapon kills instead of ability kills.

For eso, then it wont matter xD soon or later everything will be maxed.

I think your gaming would go a lot smoother if you realized that you have neither the authority nor the knowledge to be in a position where you can tell people what they're supposed to do.

The complaint is being made not just because the OP didn't know how affinity works, but because that misunderstanding somehow overrules the actual ingame experience. You have 3 options;
1. Accept the fact that public missions / inviting random people will yield random results and people are going to play whatever they want.
2. Play with friends / clan and agree on "no Saryns or other nuke frames".
3. Play solo.

I don't like how other people play (speed / nuke meta) so I play solo to not annoy myself with the gottagofast style and to not annoy them with my slowpoke style.

Saryn requires to spam her 4 so 1 can keep spreading and keep the big damage number up. So yes she will nuke for the sake of nuking. If you don't understand that - farm her yourself, it's easy, also you will get some fun mods in the process. Also, before you will try to spit some other nonsense - build the thing you are complaining about yourself and try to use it.

Are you a buff frame? Yes, you don’t use the buffs, but since Trinity’s strength is buffing/support, she is a buff frame. Definition of buffing/support frame: A frame who can buff allies, support them, heal them, etc.

Are you a defensive frame? YES, strip armour, make everything easier to kill, he has a snow globe that has the potential to  keep a objective the safest then anything else could (excluding limbo, because limbo comes up on top of frost though, in my opinion). Definition of a defensive frame: A frame who can defend allies/objective extremely well. That’s frost.
 

Lavos. YOU JUST SAID you have 1700HP, how is that not the definition of a tanky frame? You kill enemies from a distance while your still durable, good then. Your still a tank even if your not gonna play like one.

Definition of a tank frame: (Do I even need to explain this one?) a frame that is extremely durable, with high health and armour.

 

Saryn: You still have to spam 4 even if your spending 10 minutes travelling towards where the enemies are? Your just wasting energy, and when players actually need a saryn, not enough energy orbs to use corrosive nuke. She’s a nuking frame, so nuke, but if your going to nuke can’t you actually nuke something? Like enemies? Instead of empty rooms?

You can't Interact With another player's Health, Energy or Ammo Drops.... atleast not Directly, Booben's Vortex can suck up loot even on Other player's Screen I think...

Thats easy to answer... people use The Simulacrum to test their weapons... and they use Hydron to level them up, which is where Saryn comes in... once you do the Hydron grind  1000 times you start to hope and prey that a Saryn kills everything faster so that you can go back to playing normally again... otherwise you'l be spending more time on Hydron...

Not necessarily, the point of this thread is me asking why nearly every saryn does this annoying nuke spam even in unnecessary situations and what to do about it, since I experience it nearly every time I play warframe :|. “The important parts of your reply” is basically what everybody before you repeated. When we actually do more then a saryn they rage, salt, and leave, which is again, annoying.

1. Found that out yesterday. My mistake.

2. Use training place to test, hydron to level. I’m doing hydron anyway, may as well get something else out of it even if it’s not that significant or if there is a better way to do it.

3. Levelling up things actually can be fun, depending on the scenario. If you manage to synergise extremely well or if something is very intense in a good way, it’s actually very enjoyable.

4. Most people (including myself until 3 days ago) won’t bother to farm the key to training place. 
 

5. That trick… well I tested it yesterday.. the saryn actually went afk because I think got bored..

Before I stopped playing I use to go to fissures with my Flares and Leech Affinity from other players while simultaneously getting Prime Loot XD !!! Nobody ever complained... infact... they rarely noticed me... :O !

So basically you are asking for an XP farm without a saryn? That is an absurd request because 99% of XP farms in this game consists of mirage or saryn. (You may dislike mirage as well lol)

No sane person will "test out their gears" or "have fun" in an XP grinding mission like onslaught or hydron. If you want to do that simulacrum is your place, and I doubt you could barely test anything with underforma or underleveled gears as well.

No, I’ve actually been looking for a mirage prime because my mirage too squishy.

 

If your gonna XP farm, XP farm. If you can do something else while doing that, why not do it?

Of course doing anything in WF solo would be boring, but I guess if you do public matches, then you see a lot of people from outside. If you dislike saryn to the extent that you dont want to see her, then the best way for you is to, well, go solo. Or find a squad for whatever missions ur running.

And nuking isnt exclusive to saryn as well - Ember, equinox, gauss, nezha could do map nuking as well. Nuking in lvl 50- maps aren't gamebreaking as well. If you straight up dislike that then go solo without a nuking frame, no one is stopping you :)

As for "doing something else"... I could always do something else with my phone. Let the right people do stuff that they are efficient in doing.

Also - saryn workflow. Toss 1, press 4, press 3. Kill anything if it survived the nuke and spore spreading. If you can't stand that - play solo. Nobody is going to play the game the way you want. Why?

The Saryn is doing just that, you should thank them in all honesty. You go to Hydron to level, not test builds.

This game has individualized drops btw, so this doesn't do anything.

The lights flicker, but I'm pretty sure larvalings can't spawn in defense. Never happened to me at least.

Saryn can be annoying at times when someone is using her where it's just overkill. But IMO you should never really complain about one in an XP farm. All they're doing is helping you 95% of the time.

You ask for people to help do mission faster/more efficient, and you get it.

Being annoyed is fine. The reasoning I disagree with. You're on Hydron, you should WANT it to go faster and you should WANT someone else to get the kills more than yourself. Also don't speak for others in your squad, don't assume their preferences.

Telling others to steal energy is irrelevant, it's clientside. Also it's toxic to request. Stop it.

NEVER GO FOR LARVLING OR SISTER PUBLIC, Idk what you're trying to do. That's never been a desire for me ever. I disagree with the preference for public on Larvling picking.

As for the last bit. YOU WANT THE SARYN TO GET KILLS. If you want to test your ability to fight against something on your own terms, make them your own terms. Friends Only. As for XP. Your kills DO NOT get you XP faster than them getting kills. I would ARGUE HEAVILY that I VASTLY PREFER when someone else is clearing the map when I am leveling items.
PLEASE look at https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Affinity  , specifically how XP is Spread based on Whom/What portion of your gear gets the kills.

I cannot emphasize this enough, YOU WANT THE SARYN TO GET THE KILLS IF XP IS YOUR GOAL. They are getting NONE of it attributed to their weapons. You Are.

It's true, it can be annoying if you let it. But you can test builds anywhere.  If you insist on Hydron for whatever reason, do it solo or with friends. Otherwise you'll run into this issue constantly.  And not just from Saryn players.

Lol....well you said you asked for help. Sometimes people overkill because if someone asks for help they assume the person has failed and just needs to pass mission.
