Most of latest deluxe skins came with some kind of syandana, or armor. Where's the revenant deluxe one? Nah, you're just confused because a lot of people hoped so hard that DE would do it they made it sound like DE really was going to do it. I think this was their mistake. If they had used literally any other word made up or otherwise than syandana, there wouldn't have been all this confusion. The word implies universal to a lot of players brains, and it is weird for them to see that word on something restricted to a single warframe. A lot of people's brains just sort of had a breakdown over it, and couldn't accept it wasn't going to be universal, even though all info stated it would be Revenant only. minininja77 Posted September 8, 2021 Share Posted September 8, 2021 They backed themselves into a corner on this one, making all other deluxe cosmetics attachments in the past has mostly worked but would not have worked with Rev based on the design it would never have allowed for any syandana to fit. That left them with 2 options either make it so that when attached to Rev the syandana slot was greyed out (had they gone this route there would be post on top of post complaining about it) or option 2 to make it a syandana and just make it his and his alone like they did. No, its a syandana, many frames have their own unique accessories, like Volt/Frost/Banshee/Excalibur Zato shoulder attachment, and they also not universal, so this is already a thing since long, and since it's counted as deluxe skin that means you cant toggle it as if theyre vanilla/prime version, its different. DE never said that it would work for other frames and it doesn't say anywhere that it will work with other frames. Not on the patch notes, not on the description. Nowhere. If people expected that it would work on other frames then that is on them. Ember's recent deluxe that supposed to go alongside Mephisto with the sun and moon theme also comes with armour exclusive to that skin. People should have known that it would only work on Revenant. But it comes with syandana customization while Umbra's scarf follows the frame pattern of colors with no way to change it seperately. So it is a syandana for the sake of further customization.
