Additions: 

  • Added Steel Path weekly leaderboards.
    • To view, open pause menu > Profile > Leaderboards and select from the weekly missions list to now view both the ‘Origin System (Normal)’ and ‘The Steel Path’ Leaderboards. 

Changes:

  • Made several case text changes across the game to unify capitalization across the board. For example:
    • “HILDRYN CHASSIS” is now “Hildryn Chassis”. 
    • Since this touched text across the game, if you come across any issues please report them! Some text may still be intentionally fully capitalized, but if you see any “HaRrOw PriMe sysTEms” please let us know. 
  • Turned down the volume of the Void Storm’s Void Sinks in Railjack missions. 
  • Defeated Infested Ancients’ corpses will now dissolve quicker. 

Optimizations:

  • Improved handling of corrupt shader caches in DirectX 12. 
  • Made extremely minor micro-optimizations to resource management. 
  • Made extremely minor micro-optimization to Dx11 rendering. 
  • Fixed handling of a rare form of cache corruption. 
  • Fixed a rare type of cache corruption where only certain files were deleted from the install. 
  • Fixed a small memory leak that would occur when corrupt sound resources were detected. 
  • Fixed a rare and harmless crash on shutdown that could occur if you hit Alt-F4 while loading in DirectX 12. 

The New War Fixes:

  • Fixed being unable to move your Warframe if you’re knocked down by the big baddie in the final stage of the quest.
  • Fixed mismatching character suits between two core characters in ‘The Aftermath’ and later stages of the quest. 
     

Fixes: 

  • Fixed damage bonus % provided by Condition Overload not being numerically consistent across Melee weapons. 
    • Condition Overload was not accounting for Melee weapons that deal different amounts of damage with different swings via combos. We will continue to watch for any issues related to the above.
  • Fixed several functionality issues with Yareli while riding Merulina in the Mastery Rank 14 test, notably being unable to shoot or ride Merulina anymore. 
  • Fixed several issues with the Isolation Vaults & underground tunnels below Cambion Drift generating incorrectly causing players to be unable to progress, as reported here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/sq81ug/are_the_iso_vaults_breaking_for_anyone_else/
  • Fixed several icons appearing stretched after the great icon “squarification” treatment : 
    • Extractor icons in the Select window when deploying an Extractor via Navigation. 
    • Archwing Weapon ‘action’ icons.
    • Dojo room building resources icons (except for Credits and Thermal Sludge).
    • Orb Vallis Conservation Emblem icon. 
    • Harrow Chassis in the End of Mission screen. 
  • Fixed being able to exceed the Mandachord’s allotted notes per section. 
  • Fixed Wisp’s movement audio loop being too quiet.
  • Fixed equipped Requiem Mods appearing as a blank square slot icon when stabbing an Adversary. 
  • Fixed ‘Depth of Field’ settings in Captura resetting each time you toggle between menus. 
  • Fixed multiple crashes caused by objects in the Corpus Outpost, Corpus Ship, and Kuva Fortress tileset looping behaviors.  
  • Fixed crash related to the Anku Blueprint in the Tenno Lab. 
  • Fixed script errors when attempting to change the enemy type while customizing an Articula. 
  • Fixed extremely rare case of the screen fading when in Railjack dorsal/ventral turrets. 
  • Fixed being unable to search for Clan members in the Clan menu if typed using uppercase. 
  • Fixed Warframe lingering in the background of the in-game Market and Nightwave windows.  
  • Fixed the De Nas Pistol Skin missing reload sound. 
  • Fixed Wukong and Nezha’s Animation sets having the wrong description in the in-game Market. 
  • Fixed the Augur Seeker and Augur Secrets mods both sharing the same picture. The Augur Secrets mod has been updated with its intended image. 
  • Fixed chat linked Railjack mods dioramas having unnecessary description text next to the mod.

 As mentioned in earlier updates, there are still some outstanding Conclave problems that have made it into the game -- some of them a long time ago. The following are just a subset, but they're high on the list:

  • Telos Boltace -- could simply be disabled if not reset to its pre Old Blood behaviour. It's been over two years now. Ragdolls on players should never have been a thing in a mode that limits CC to slows, impairs and knockdowns. In some cases it can even break the maps. E.g. here the player just keeps falling for over a minute until a reset happens:

    In other cases one can get stuck in the geometry or even land outside the map entirely. Here's yet another thread on that:

  • Wolf Sledge -- its throw has it all: very high damage and range, retained the super-fast Glaive wind-up, homing projectile, knockdown, AoE explosions (both automatic and manually triggered) and can melee block while throwing, negating 100% of incoming shots in that direction. Here's an example clip.

     
  • Fall-off bug. Causes a lot of shotguns and snipers to deal PvE damage (min. fall-off) instead of the originally balanced numbers. Has been reported numerous times over months. Latest here:

  • Saryn's passive + any electric weapon. A bug introduced with the damage type rework makes it possible for Electric procs to refresh themselves. This gets exploited by some to get an unavoidable damage source which ultimately just kills without being able to do much about it. Especially problematic with AoE like from Castanas.

 

There are more problems, but these are some of the worst offenders right now. People would already be happy if you just disabled e.g. Telos Boltace and Wolf Sledge if you don't want to take the time to fix the bugs/balance properly.

Upon leaving the dojo and going back into it, the lights revert back to default (this is not supposed to happen). On top of that, upon teleporting to other rooms occasionally keeps the room colors via teleporters within the clan dojo, but does not always stay. Also, walking outside of the room can instantly reset the colors for no apparent reason. 

There is no current fix for this except for staying in the dojo only after placing a polychrome, as rushing or waiting out the time limit does not force change the colors to any capacity. 

As someone who enjoys making my clan look great, I can only imagine how other clan dojo's might be experiencing such a bug and dislike the room where their spawn pad is. 

I honestly do hope this gets resolved eventually, as I can see that my inquiries in the forums have gone unnoticed as well as removed for apparently being reposted, which a lot of other players do regardless about other bug problems that don't get removed.

My friends who entered my dojo all had different experiences, some seeing the dark blue hue as seen in the video as the normal colors, and some seeing the basic lighting and normal room colors. 

Upon leaving my dojo in the video, all would seem right? Well, you're wrong. 

Re-entering my dojo still shows all the colors messed up, again. 

Please, DE, look into this, because this is a problem that if anyone else also had colors too in their spawn room, they would be just as furious as me. Thank you so much for your hard work, and hope something fixes this come The New War. 
 

 

Thanks for the Hotfix! 

Still a prevalent bug in regards to Dojo's with the spawn pad in them not holding lighting colors regardless of polychrome use. 

My dojo still falls victim of this, as probably many others do, so just hoping this gets addressed eventually.  

Edit: Text in Warframe Appearance and Weapon Appearance are different fonts than the usual Arsenal Text Fonts

Also, Wisp Coven skin in the market is missing the other leg-scarf on her left thigh, as it looked as if it were supposed to come like that. Appears as normal when previewing the skin in the arsenal, but not in the market.

Why are all the packs but 1 filled with filler to inflate the price and why is there no pack offering all the items in 1 pack?

I actually liked the Grendel skin when I first saw it, and all the other skins look fine (except yet another Heavy Blade skin), but those packs feel borderline exploitative. Yes, you can buy them separately which is good, but it kills the whole reason we had packs which was the value. Don't take steps back when you don't have to, because that's all those packs are, a step back when the game was known for having decent monetization.

 

Would also be nice to hear a word about the Crit rate Galvanized mods, they have been bugged since day one, but only Status mods got fixes and statements so far.

Thank you! Is the Heavy Attack issue with CO also fixed or still being worked on?  (edit: it occurs to me, that Heavy Attacks are a "different swing via combo", so hopefully these are already fixed as well.)  (edit 2: Ok, a quick test with rapier Heavy Attack forced bleeds, shows CO is working there.)

  • A previous change had them operate relative to "base damage" but the code was incorrectly getting base damage from the impact behavior rather than the projectile. @Prof_Blocks_007 has done the herculean task of reviewing every ranged weapon in just a few days and has made a summary of what was and wasn't working before the update today.  And WayOfWisdom did the same thing pre 31.1.0.  They should probably get  t-shirts and "Entomologist" forum titles or something, just saying.
