taiiat
increasing some of the Armor that Warframes already have doesn't change that reducing the Chance for it to activate makes it less consistent and ergo more difficult to use on lower EHP Warframes - the Warframes that would care about using it the most. also Aegis and Barrier are still useless by your wording because it's worded that they can only trigger when your Shield takes Damage, meaning can't trigger when you would need it the most (taking significant incoming Damage). so uh, does applying a Status Effect a second time refresh the Duration for the first or something? or are all of these Status features as usual exclusive to Shotguns and Bullet Hoses/spray and pray Weapons, and nerfing most other types of Weapons (of which are always less popular to begin with). what, why are Weapons that aren't 'super good' and don't currently deal self Damage going to stagger us? especially Weapons like say, Simulor where you are functionally forced to always be in close proximity of your orbs, and it's also not exactly ""op"" enough to warrant getting trolled by the game. and Battacor? it doesn't even have an Explosive type attack currently, wtf? Quote AOE weapons are receiving a 90% Radial Damage Falloff from central impact. basically Exponent2 Falloff? you're joking, right? so all Explosive/AoE type Weapons are going to Stagger us if we're anywhere near it but it will only Kill Enemies in roughly 1/5 of the area that they currently do. so in other words, the goal is for Explosive Weapons to be literally useless. why are there numbers that might as well have been drawn out of a hat here. Brodh
Honestly, if there were an option to make impact procs do absolutely nothing people would have been using it for years, they make headshots annoying to go for. This change just makes it worse, and you can't avoid it via modding like you can with blast. Edit: Just saw this is in a sea of similar feedback, soz

Scarlet Spear will feature a buy-what-you-want shop for Arcanes based on the currency earned in the event. It will launch in March shortly after the Mainline. I feel like this needs more emphasis. Far too many people are looking at the increased number of arcanes needed to max out their arcanes, comparing that to the grind of capturing Eidolons, and then running around like Chicken Little screaming that this is the death of Warframe. Removing a layer of RNG is not a bad thing, people.

Also WHY THE HELL do the Ferrox and Pox have self stagger? One is a damn laser beam, other other a sac of poison that barely tickles enemies/only exists for status spread. The thrown aspect of it is an aoe that is what they are adding the stagger. And POX might see new life in this patch

KIREEK
@Kaotyke The only problem would be extremely tanky units like certain bosses (ambulas sortie for example), you have an opening of 8 seconds and then you need to redo the armor striping to help everyone kill the boss. Were talking about a very minute amount of enemies and by default you'll do more damage anyway since armor won't scale to high up unless you're on the insane enemy levels. So overall, 1 step foward, 1 step backwards, you'll complete things in the exact same amount of time, complaining is pointless. In an exterminate mission, you can't be taking 10 seconds per enemy, the mission can't be completed under the timer it has set.

That's a form of CC, making an enemy deal less damage. 2. A lot of people on the forums keep saying "you can just kill everything as a form of CC" and that's just a ridiculous answer/solution for multiple reasons that are common sense and (hopefully) shouldn't have to be stated. It is an absolutely true statement though. Particularly so when considering the game has moved way too far away from CC having any relevance from CC-immune enemies to entire game modes resolving around raw DPS (ESO). Even Mr. CC himself (Vauban) was given DPS abilities in his rework because there's no purpose for CC alone vs. outright killing. Reb did mention that, with these revised stats, they will look into Lich status immunity, making puncture (And blast) a very desirable stat for survivability against high-damage single enemies like bosses, but until then, a dead enemy deals 0 damage. THIS IS TERRIBLE. Did Titania not give you guys any hint??? Ragdolls are frowned upon when you are trying to aim at the enemy and they just fly off. Seriously, this change is detrimental to gameplay. Please change this. 57 minutes ago, [DE]Rebecca said: Viral New Status Effect entirely: enhanced Damage! First Viral Status Effect deals 100% additional Health damage, subsequent Viral Status add +25% for a total of 325% (capped).Note: Before Viral would halve a target’s health pool and simply refresh the duration. Now it deals 2x Damage to Health, and can scale up to 4.5x Damage on repeat Status Effects. Does this only apply to the bullet that applied the status effect, and not to the others? if so, then this is a massive nerf. If this does apply to all other bullets fired onto the enemy after this, then I think its pretty good.

In a more serious and less salty note, repeat impact is now Lesser Blast, but it has to be *repeat* Impact, most weapons that aren't majority impact already don't proc a second instance of it before the first wears off. I just hope that a 33 fire rate grakata (highest impact ips) won't pinball people like the firetruck watergun in gta vice city. If the target drops on it's back, you can't aim for the head from further angles, which already makes it counterproductive to aiming. Full continuous ragdoll would make it impossible.
